Soaring high into the sky, drawing ever closer to the massive full moon hanging above, Madara gently snapped off the white horn-like protrusion on his forehead.
His purple Rinnegan glowed with a strange, eerie light as he stared straight up at the glowing orb.
'Those who possess the power of Rinnegan… when approaching the moon…'
Scenes from the ancient Uchiha stone tablet flashed through Madara's mind. He gazed fervently at the moon above, whispering softly, "'…The eyes capable of casting an infinite dream… shall awaken… and reflect upon the moon itself…'"
Gradually, as if connecting to some extraordinary power, a slit appeared right in the center of his forehead.
A new eye slowly emerged—a Rinnegan patterned with nine black tomoe, radiating a terrifying purple luminescence that held vast, unfathomable power.
"'The Rinne Sharingan…'" Kaoru murmured softly.
Even from such a great distance, Kaoru could feel the surging ocular power radiating from Madara's new eye. It was an eye far stronger than the ordinary Rinnegan.
But seriously… this thing is so damn ugly. Even worse than the regular Rinnegan…
Kaoru shook his head, brushing the thought aside. He knew what was coming next—the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
However, he made no move to stop it. He had his own plan.
"'After waiting for so long… this moment has finally arrived!!!'"
Madara whispered as if chanting a holy verse, feeling the immense power flowing from his third eye. Memories of his long life flashed through his mind, finally settling into a deep sigh.
He channeled the full power of the Rinne Sharingan, directing its gaze toward the moon above.
At this very moment, Kaoru felt as if a long-slumbering will within the moon had finally awakened.
Everyone looked up to see the brilliant moon suddenly turn blood-red. Its surface shifted, transforming into the exact pattern of the Rinne Sharingan now on Madara's forehead.
Somewhere in the haze, Kaoru swore he saw the faint outline of a woman's face appear across the sky—ethereally beautiful, yet with eyes that looked like those of a terrifying demon.

"'What is that…?'" Everyone stared in awe and fear at the massive crimson moon, now resembling a colossal eye watching over the world.
"'From this moment onward… let all creation become one!!!'"
Hovering infinitely close to the scarlet moon, Madara's face twisted into an expression of ecstatic madness. He abruptly formed the hand seals.

Light that flooded the entire world.
Under everyone's wide-eyed gaze, intense beams of light shot down from the crimson moon, illuminating every corner of the planet. The symbol of the Rinnegan was branded onto the retinas of every living being.
"'This light penetrates even shadows… Nothing in this world can block it… nowhere is safe…'"
Madara watched as the radiance engulfed the earth, his expression one of ultimate transcendence. The dream he had waited his whole life for… was finally coming true.
Yet, in the midst of this world-encompassing spell, there was one person whose eyes remained unchanged.
"'It has finally begun… just as I expected…'"
Kaoru floated alone in the sky. His scarlet Mangekyō Sharingan remained clear and steady, shining with a mysterious light, unaffected by the dazzling brilliance.
It seemed that aside from Kaoru and Madara, the eyes of everyone else in the world had turned purple with the pattern of the Rinnegan. They were all trapped within an eternal dream.
Inside this illusion, each person found themselves living in the reality they desired most deeply.
It was beautiful… but completely false.
As the light blanketed the world, Madara—who had been looking on with immense satisfaction—suddenly noticed Kaoru floating calmly in the sky, completely unharmed and unaffected. Shock instantly took over his face!
"'Why?! Why does the Infinite Tsukuyomi have no effect on you!!!'" Madara roared in rage, staring at Kaoru's unperturbed expression.
The Infinite Tsukuyomi was a dojutsu exclusive to the Rinne Sharingan. Unless one also possessed the same eye, it was impossible to resist.
As long as you existed within this dimension, you would be trapped. Kaoru only had the Mangekyō Sharingan—by all logic, he should be just as vulnerable as everyone else!
"'Like you said… no one in this world can escape this world-ending genjutsu…'" Kaoru smiled, looking at Madara's stunned face. "'But as long as I don't get hit by the light… I'm fine. Simple as that.'"
"'Impossible!!!'" Madara shouted back. "'The light penetrates everything! No matter where you hide in this world, it will reach you! Besides… you are standing right in front of me! How could you possibly avoid it?!'" Confusion and anger swirled in his eyes.
"'How foolish, Madara… have you already forgotten? What I'm doing isn't impossible. Think about it… I can stand right in front of you, yet you are completely unable to touch or affect me. You know this feeling very well, don't you?'" A playful smirk appeared on Kaoru's lips.
"'That's… Kamui?!'" Madara suddenly realized the truth—he remembered Obito's space-time technique!
"'Seems like you've finally caught on…'" Kaoru laughed softly. "'That's right. I have taken Obito's Sharingan for myself. Right now, my physical body has been shifted entirely into the Kamui Dimension. The light of your Infinite Tsukuyomi simply cannot reach me there!'"
With a slight movement of his sleeve, Kaoru revealed a small sapling grown from the cells of Hashirama Senju. Embedded within it, slowly rotating, was a Mangekyō Sharingan—Obito's eye!
No matter how powerful the Infinite Tsukuyomi was, it was still limited to the laws of this dimension. It could not shine upon another space, and it only affected living beings within this world!
"'Obito… Even in death, you still cause me trouble…'" Madara cursed under his breath.
But just as the genjutsu covered the world and Madara tried to figure out how to deal with Kaoru, another strange phenomenon occurred.
From the distant horizon, a massive purple shape rapidly grew larger. In the blink of an eye, it descended onto the battlefield beneath Kaoru. A colossal purple shadow enveloped Naruto, who was moments away from falling under the spell.
It was a gigantic construct of chakra, clad in ancient samurai armor with a massive pair of wings extending from its back—a Perfect Body Susanoo!
"'What?! A Susanoo?!'"
Seeing the giant ethereal warrior, Madara's eyes widened in disbelief. After casting the ultimate jutsu, he had expected victory.
Yet not only was Kaoru immune, but now another person stood unaffected—and this one was an Uchiha capable of manifesting the Perfect Susanoo!
Moments ago, it seemed his only real opponent was Kaoru. Then suddenly, two more brats appeared out of nowhere, both undergoing drastic changes and power-ups that made no sense…
"'So Sasuke got his cheat power-up too, huh…'"
Looking down at Sasuke standing within the purple avatar, protecting Naruto, Kaoru could only smile wryly.
"'Looks like the Sage really doesn't play favorites… Even though Sasuke has done basically nothing this whole time, he was still dragged into the spiritual dimension and forcibly powered up…'"
