James swallowed. He had intended for the transaction to be merely giving them what they want while getting what he wants.
For him, there's no reason to go back looking at the relationship between them besides…they long cut ties.
The prince smiled knowingly.
"You don't have to be so stiff about it. It had actually taken me some time to find out the truth. At least since the appearance of the moon ring."
The prince's fingers tapped slowly against the armrest. "Though you haven't mentioned the appearance of the moon ring…"
The silence in the room was deafening. James stared at him in surprise as he recalled he hadn't actually mentioned anything of sort.
The prince smiled. "Don't look so surprised. News travels farther than you wolves seem to realize."
James's expression became serious. "What do you know about it?"
The prince shrugged. "Enough to know that its appearance isn't insignificant."
