But then, his aura began to surge, quickly reaching the level of a five-star Dou Ling. The violent Dou Qi gathered in his dry hand, showing he was ready to strike with lethal force if things didn't go smoothly.
"No more talking. Hand over the girl you captured in Shimo City!" the black-robed man stated flatly, his voice colder.
"Huh?" Mo Cheng's murky eyes suddenly flashed with a glimmer of light. He instinctively looked over at Jiang Lin, also in a black robe, but with a massive build. Jiang Lin calmly picked up his tea cup, blew on it lightly, and sipped, seemingly unaware of what was happening right in front of him. In contrast, Hai Mo looked at the black-robed figure who had caused a commotion.
"Don't say nonsense! My Mo family has never captured anyone!" Mo Cheng, naturally, denied having captured Qing Lin, especially since he had just made a firm statement to Jiang Lin. To backtrack now would be to slap his own face.
"Kill him!" Mo Cheng roared, and immediately, a group of Mo family experts rushed forward with weapons drawn to pounce on Xiao Yan.

Mo Lan, standing behind Jiang Lin, looked at the scene with shock. She realized that the Mo family had provoked something they shouldn't have!
"Hand over Qing Lin! Or today, I will wash the Mo family in blood!" the black-robed man declared coldly.
Unfortunately, even with this threat, Mo Cheng refused to yield. He had already refused Jiang Lin the day before, and if he backed down today, it would mean offending the alchemist guild Jiang Lin represented.
As for Jiang Lin, he remained silent, drinking his tea and watching the show.
