"What's so great?" A female voice came from the door.
"Ugh!" Eric was startled by the sudden voice, jumping up from his bed. Upon closer inspection, he saw it was Akame.
"It's so late, aren't you going to sleep?" Eric patted his chest lightly to calm his heartbeat.
'I didn't sense her with Observation Haki, is Akame's stealth ability really that strong?'
"I'm a bit hungry, so I went to the kitchen and grabbed a late-night snack." Akame held a plate in her right hand, filled with meatballs.
"Want to eat together?"
"If you eat that much at night, you might get fat."

Eric and Akame quietly sat by the table, the only sound in the air was the chewing of meatballs.

They froze and then laughed together.
"You go first, Akame, do you have something on your mind?"
"Well," Akame nodded lightly, "A few days ago, when Esdeath was interrogating the Goa royal family and nobles, learning the truth about the fire made me extremely angry."

'Ah, so she was preparing for Esdeath... I didn't expect her to catch Akame instead.'
"I was talking to Eric about the World Government's darkness and my sister's matter," Akame said openly, having no issues sharing. There was nothing to hide, and it was easier to let Kurumi know, after all, they were allies in resistance.
"Huh? Akame, you have a sister?" Kurumi raised an eyebrow in surprise. "How come you never mentioned her before?"
"My real sister is no longer in this world."
Kurumi looked down in apology. "…Sorry."
"It's fine." Akame didn't mind too much. After all, she would see her sister soon.
Taking the opportunity, Eric checked Akame and Kurumi's panels to add some points. During the War of the Best, Garp was about to tear Akainu apart but was forcibly stopped by Sengoku.
This showed that Garp 's strength wasn't weaker than Akainu's, and Eric was planning to challenge Garp this month.
So Eric asked, "What areas would you like to improve your strength in quickly?"
It was best to ask them first. Since they had already seen the summon, it didn't matter if Kurumi knew about the attribute boost.
Akame had already known that Eric could enhance her abilities, so she seriously thought about it. "I want Eric to help me increase my strength and speed. I can train my swordsmanship and Haki, but my body is something that's hard to change."

"What's this?" Esdeath felt a warm sensation on her chest. She loosened her grip, and Eric was angrily pulled back by Kurumi.
That night, Eric ended up sitting for half an hour, his nostrils stuffed with tissues, finishing the day.
By Esdeath's request, he also raised her Armament Haki from four stars to five stars.
