Back to Galdosh.
Back to reality.
Back to… manual labor.
Because apparently saving cities doesn't exempt you from construction work. Who knew.
The teleport dropped us right in the middle of the market, and for a second, I just stood there, blinking.
"…Oh."
Bustling.
Loud.
Alive.
Vendors shouting, players hauling materials, half-built stalls already being patched up like nothing catastrophic ever happened.
It was chaos.
Productive chaos.
And weirdly?
I liked it.
"EUNJI!"
I flinched.
A group of players rushed toward us like we were celebrities who just dropped into their server.
"You're back!"
"No kidding," I muttered, waving awkwardly. "Miss me that much?"
"Yes!"
"…That was too fast. You should hesitate more."
Kael snorted.
"They were suffering without your leadership."
"They were suffering without my charm," I corrected.
Zeref sighed. "Same thing in your head, I assume."
"Exactly."
