I hate how one side of the corner was doing quite well...Royal knights handling monsters like how they're trained their whole lives.
And Callian?
I glanced over.
Big mistake.
He moved cleanly. Efficiently. Sword steady, stance perfect. No wasted motion, no hesitation. Every strike controlled the battlefield rather than ended it.
An emperor.
Fighting like he actually deserved the title.
I clicked my tongue.
"Show-off."
He didn't even look at me. "Observe."
"I am observing. I don't like it."
"Adapt."
"I refuse."
He ignored me.
Of course he did.
Then there was Cazash.
Short.
Solid.
And apparently built entirely to commit violence.
A monster lunged at him.
He didn't dodge.
Didn't step back.
He just....
Smacked it.
Right on the head.
With something that looked like a hammer but felt personal.
The sound alone made me wince.
The monster collapsed like it reconsidered its life choices mid-attack.
Cazash grunted. "Good material."
"That's not a resource," I said.
