>>>Zeref's POV<<<
The break at Floor Sixty ended faster than most people expected.
A few days ago, players had been crowding karaoke rooms, arguing over songs neither world understood and competing over games that somehow became more serious than actual raids.
Now they were back to climbing, back to hunting monsters, and back to watching their maps every few minutes in case a red dot appeared.
For Zeref, not much had changed.
He was still scouting ahead.
Still protecting groups weaker than himself.
Still carrying responsibilities he never would have imagined when he first entered the Tower.
"Sir Zeref, be honest. How many levels did you gain during the break?"
The question came from an Earth player walking a few paces behind him.
Zeref didn't even look back.
"None."
Several people immediately groaned.
"That's unfair."
"How is that unfair?"
"Because people like him don't need more levels."
"That's exactly why it's unfair," another player agreed.
The group laughed.
