Adam watched Noah's frantic expression with a sense of genuine confusion.
He didn't quite understand why the mere possibility of a pregnancy following their night together was causing such a visible wave of panic in his husband.
To Adam, the logic was straightforward and simple, they are a happily married couple, them having a baby is a completely normal concept in every couple.
He raised a hand in the air, gesturing toward the room around them as if to ground Noah in their current reality.
"I don't see why you are worrying yourself to this extent," Adam said, his voice calm and level.
"What exactly would be so wrong with it if you did get pregnant? We are legally married, after all. It is perfectly normal and expected for a couple in our position to have children eventually. Why are you panicking as if this is some kind of unforeseen disaster?"
Noah turned a sharp, incredulous glare toward Adam.
