Most of the island's residents remained on the coast to clear the battlefield, which was now littered with thousands of fainted clone Pokémon and the debris of Team Rocket's fleet. Before Kenji left, he took a moment to inspect the fallen creatures more closely.
His earlier attention had been entirely fixated on Mewtwo. Now, he finally had the leisure to observe the clones.
Scanning the field, he saw that the vast majority of the Pokémon were below Level 70—the "Elite" threshold. A small fraction had reached the Gym Leader tier, but the overwhelming majority were mere Elite-tier fodder.
To the average trainer, an Elite-level Pokémon was a powerhouse—a status symbol. But for Team Rocket's cloning tech, these were mass-produced tools.
Yet, as Kenji observed them, the fatal flaws of this technology became apparent.

It was a classic case of the "Uncanny Valley" effect among Pokémon. They wore the skin of gods, but they were hollow shells, gilded on the outside and rotting within. It was a disgrace to the very concept of a Legendary.

However, Kenji realized that cloning these titans wasn't easy for Team Rocket. If they could mass-produce them, they wouldn't have just sent five. Furthermore, their control over natural laws—the "Authority" of Legendaries—was far weaker than the originals.
A real Raikou could trigger thunderstorms across an entire city just by standing on a mountain. A real Darkrai could plunge a whole town into nightmares without lifting a finger. But these clones, despite their power, lacked that terrifying environmental influence.
They were high-powered machines, not living deities.
After a brief survey, Kenji followed Namgung Zhang into the interior of Dragon Island.
The settlement was well-developed, retaining a unique architectural style evolved over millennia, seamlessly blending modern technology with ancient, island-specific traditions.
Kenji's Pokémon had expended a massive amount of energy in the battle. Darkrai, in particular, had nearly exhausted its reserves maintaining the Shadow Tag domain and sealing Mewtwo's movements. It would need significant time to recover.
Mega Beedrill was in a similar state, and the rest of the team was battered from the wave of clones.
But Kenji's primary worry was Arbok.
Ever since the Dragon Form dissolved, the snake had fallen into a deep, heavy coma. It was curled into a tight ball, looking like a snake hibernating through a harsh winter. No matter what Kenji did, he couldn't wake it.
He immediately brought Arbok to the Dragon Island's specialized Pokémon medical facility.
