Five minutes later, the adjustments were complete.
Let's begin, You Ye said as he looked at Arise-Heart.
"Alright." Arise-Heart nodded silently, saying nothing more.
You Ye (8000 LP) vs Arise-Heart (8000 LP)
According to the duel rules, You Ye was given the choice. He chose to go first.
Both sides drew five cards, and the duel officially began.
"I activate the Field Spell Pressured Planet Wraitsoth.
Wraitsoth's effect lets me add one Kashtira monster from my Deck to my hand.
I add Kashtira Unicorn."
"Since I control no monsters, I Special Summon Kashtira Unicorn, and activate its effect, adding the Normal Spell Kashtiratheosis from my Deck to my hand."
"I activate Kashtiratheosis, targeting Unicorn on my field.
I Special Summon Kashtira Fenrir from my Deck in Defense Position."
"Fenrir's effect activates. I add Tearlaments Kashtira from my Deck to my hand."
"I overlay Fenrir and Unicorn—
Xyz Summon Kashtira Shangri-Ira!"
"Then I activate Kashtira Riseheart's first effect, Special Summoning it.
Its second effect banishes Kashtira Big Bang from my Deck face-down, and banishes three of your cards face-down, Arise-Heart."
You Ye calmly announced each step.
Arise-Heart remained composed.
Other decks might struggle to recover face-down banished cards, but Kashtira could retrieve them easily.
Being banished meant nothing to him—in fact, You Ye was helping him.
Moreover, You Ye's current board was a standard Kashtira setup.
Arise-Heart already knew what the endboard would look like. There was nothing to panic about.
Seeing his calm expression, You Ye continued his "lecture."
"The banished Kashtira Big Bang activates, targeting my Shangri-Ira.
Chain Link 2: Shangri-Ira's effect activates, locking one of your Main Monster Zones."
Chain resolves backward:
CL2: Shangri-Ira locks a Main Monster Zone
CL1: Big Bang returns Unicorn from Xyz Materials to my hand, then Special Summons it
"I overlay Riseheart alone—
Xyz Summon Kashtira Arise-Heart!"
"I activate Tearlaments Kashtira from my hand, banishing Kashtiratheosis from my GY to Special Summon it."
"Because a card was banished, Arise-Heart's effect activates, attaching one banished card as Xyz Material.
Chain Link 2: Tearlaments Kashtira's effect attempts to mill."
"However, due to Arise-Heart's continuous effect, milling three becomes banishing three."
"I banish three and hit two copies of Necroface."
"When Necroface is banished, both players banish five cards each!"
"Chain Link 3: Arise-Heart activates again, attaching another card as material."
Chain resolves:
CL3: Arise-Heart absorbs Necroface
CL2 & CL1: Both players banish ten cards total
After the resolution, You Ye continued.
"The second banished Kashtiratheosis activates, targeting a banished Scareclaw Kashtira.
Chain Link 2: Arise-Heart attaches another card as material.
Chain Link 3: The third Necroface activates—both players banish five more cards!"
"Chain Link 4: I activate Kashtiratheosis from banishment, targeting the banished Unicorn."
Arise-Heart chained as well, watching his banished cards calmly, without fear.
Unicorn was back in hand.
As long as his zones weren't fully locked, next turn he could easily win.
Hearing this, You Ye's expression turned strange.
Arise-Heart still hadn't realized it.
This duel was never about building a board.
It was about deck destruction.
Kashtira players treated banishment like home—it was second nature.
Because of that, Arise-Heart completely failed to notice how dangerous the situation had become.
You Ye, glanced at a Quick-Play Spell in Arise-Heart's Graveyard, but said nothing.
Chain resolves:
CL4: Kashtiratheosis returns Unicorn to hand
CL3: Necroface banishes five each
CL2: Arise-Heart absorbs another Necroface
CL1: You Ye retrieves Scareclaw Kashtira
"Arise-Heart activates again, attaching the banished Kashtira Big Bang as material."
"I overlay Level 7 Tearlaments Kashtira and Level 7 Kashtira Unicorn!"
"Born from the digital world—
It is time to expose your true form!"
"Join me, and erase all enemies!"
"Xyz Summon—
Rank 7: No.89 Diablosis the Mind Hacker!"
Black void-like code flooded the area as a crimson figure emerged.
The monster glanced at You Ye, then turned toward Arise-Heart, battle intent blazing in its eyes.
Kashtira had given it a home—but only because You Ye existed.
Without You Ye, it would never have belonged anywhere.
No.89 Diablosis the Mind Hacker
Psychic / Xyz / Effect
DARK – Rank 7
ATK 2800 / DEF 1200
"Not a second Shangri-Ira?"
"And why… why does this monster feel so familiar to me?
It isn't Kashtira—it's a 'No.' monster—yet it feels like an estranged brother."
Arise-Heart was stunned.
Before You Ye could answer, Fenrir spoke naturally:
"Of course. Diablosis is our long-lost family.
With its help, the Kashtira archetype is finally complete."
He bowed respectfully to You Ye.
"It was you, Ye, who reunited us with our brother.
Now Kashtira is strong—very strong."
You Ye, activated Diablosis's first effect:
"Once per turn, detach one material.
I look at your Extra Deck and banish one card face-down."
"I banish Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder, face-down."
Arise-Heart laughed.
"A wise choice. Zeus can turn a duel around with a single card."
When the card was banished face-down, three effects triggered:
Arise-Heart
Diablosis
Shangri-Ira
You Ye declared:
CL1: Arise-Heart attaches a banished card
CL2: Diablosis banishes cards from the top of your Deck face-down equal to the number of face-down banished cards
CL3: Shangri-Ira locks another Main Monster Zone
Resolution:
Zone locked
Four cards are banished face down
Arise-Heart absorbs another card
Fenrir spoke again, impressed.
"I agree now.
Diablosis truly is our brother."
Arise-Heart finally understood.
With an opening like this, Kashtira could lock five or more zones on turn one—minimum.
Add the duel rules on top of that?
Invincible. Absolutely invincible.
But You Ye shook his head.
"You still haven't realized it."
"What do you mean?" Arise-Heart frowned.
"My goal in this duel was never board control."
"Because more cards were banished, Arise-Heart triggers again.
Chain Link 2: Shangri-Ira locks another zone.
Chain Link 3: Arise-Heart detaches three materials, targeting Diablosis—
I banish it face-down."
"You banished your own Diablosis?!"
Shock rippled through the room.
Fenrir, however, was excited.
This wasn't a mistake.
This was a new Kashtira combo.
Resolution:
Diablosis banished
Another zone locked
Arise-Heart absorbs material
"Necroface activates—both players banish 15 cards!"
"Arise-Heart absorbs again.
Shangri-Ira locks another zone.
Wraitsoth destroys Shangri-Ira, using materials as a replacement."
"Necroface banishes another 15."
"Arise-Heart retrieves another Necroface."
Arise-Heart finally understood.
"You planned to banish my entire deck."
"Correct," You Ye smiled.
"But I still have six cards left!
And your Necroface loop should be over—Arise-Heart is once per turn!"
Arise-Heart's eyes burned with excitement.
Next turn, he could OTK.
"Are you sure?" You Ye, smiled and revealed a card.
"I overlay Kashtira Shangri-Ira and Kashtira Arise-Heart."
"Xyz Summon—
FNo.0 Future Hope!"
Golden light descended as a winged warrior appeared.
FNo.0 Future Hope
Warrior / Xyz / Effect
LIGHT – Rank 0
ATK 0 / DEF 0
Arise-Heart scoffed.
"Hope? What good is that?"
Then—
He realized.
All materials under Arise-Heart were banished.
You Ye, explained calmly:
"When summoning Future Hope, excess materials are detached before the Xyz Summon completes.
At that moment, Arise-Heart was still on the field—
So its continuous effect banished everything instead of sending it to the Graveyard."
"All Necrofaces were banished."
"Necroface activates—
Both players banish the last ten cards."
Arise-Heart stared at his empty Deck.
He… had banished himself.
"Well?" You, Ye, asked. "Surrender?"
"…I surrender."
"So this is a 'one-man duel,'" Arise-Heart muttered.
"This is basically an FTK."
"No difference," You Ye replied calmly.
Finally, Arise-Heart stood tall.
"Tell me your name."
"You Ye."
"Then hear me—You Ye, Big Brother!"
"From today onward, you are the only human duelist chosen by Kashtira."
"I'll take the cards," You Ye said lazily.
"World domination is too much trouble."
And so, Kashtira was sealed—
not as a tyrant's weapon,
But as You Ye's deck.
