Castle Preparations
Stacy had come to Kurt and Betsy's morning meeting.
Betsy was happy because usually when Kurt had to leave, it meant she didn't have to do a practice round with him.
After the meeting. The one in which he made both of them spar against each other. Betsy of course won quickly. Not because Stacy was unskilled, but because she was accustomed to fighting Kurt.
Betsy was her superior after all, so there couldn't be any disrespect. They both seemed not to enjoy the process, but Kurt was insistent that they needed to be able to defend themselves.
"Let's hope today is less eventful than last time," said Kurt.
"I hope so," said Stacy, "I think you will be pleased with the progress."
The progress was fairly straightforward. Since the castle was being built specifically to protect the tear. There was more flat land and support structure there. Nothing had started being erected.
