By the time Talia gave birth everyone was set up as it could be. It's never really ready for a child until it's there. And they weren't exactly sure what kind of child would come out.
Talia had found a human doctor confident enough to deliver the baby.
Which did take a bit of time considering Talia's new appearance. But he was professional. And Talia could afford his assistants.
It was decided to give a wet birth. This was due because otherwise her wing may have flapped in dangerous ways. Doing the birth in a pool would allow Talia to move a bit. Not the conventional way, but the doctor seemed to think that, because of the complications in the matter, it would be the safest way.
The doctor also thought it was gentler on the child itself. She would be able to stretch a bit. Just need to pull up quickly to breathe.
Kurt was there of course. He had been talking to Mother Lilly about it when Harvey screamed in his ear with Talia's voice. "Get here now the baby is coming!!!"
