Sara and Jeremy had made arrangements to have a meeting with Betsy and Kurt.
"So what's the big deal?" Kurt said.
They were in the Durchery in one of the conference rooms Sara had.
"Jeremy is a damn genius, is what," said Sara.
"Well, it's not me but Akidna."
"Akidna, the spider queen."
"Yes, there is something I would like to show you."
Jeremy waved over a man with a box in his hands then presented it to Kurt and Betsy. Opening it.
Inside there was fabric. Kurt picked one up and it was silky smooth. "What is this?"
"It's silk, spider silk."
"Well, silk does exist," said Betsy, "it is rare and from one of the far continents."
"Not anymore, and beyond that, talking to her. We have made a special variation."
"Variation."
"Well, working with her we found a way to make it absorb not only ink, but a way to give it a lot more strength internally."
"What do you mean?"
"Compared to silk we can make more, color it easier, and ours won't rip as easily," said Jeremy.
