The three-member Galactic Volunteers had all arrived.
Tetrax Shard surveyed the battlefield, slightly surprised.
"Vilgax… after news of Brother Ben's disappearance spread, we rushed to Earth. As expected, you and these freaks are taking advantage of the chaos."
"What I don't understand is—are you killing your own allies?"
"Wrong." Vilgax clenched his right hand, muscles bulging grotesquely.
"I'm simply clearing all obstacles. Including you."
WHOOSH!!
Brainstorm raised countless tentacles at once. Golden telekinetic force wrapped tightly around Vilgax's entire body, freezing him in place.
BOOM!!
Tetrax launched from the ground, slamming into Vilgax's face at supersonic speed.
His fists rained down mercilessly, smashing into every part of Vilgax's body.
A moment later, Tini landed behind Vilgax, crossing her arms and locking down his limbs.
The three attacked in perfect coordination—
Suppressing Vilgax from the very start.
"This is how you fight?" Vilgax sneered.
"It's useless!"
His eyes turned bloodshot.
He stomped down viciously, but Tini dodged.
He lunged forward, teeth bared, trying to bite Tetrax—
Only for Tetrax to retract his fist and slam his forehead into Vilgax's jaw.
CRACK!
Several teeth shattered.
Brainstorm's body glowed gold.
His telekinesis never loosened, keeping Vilgax restrained.
"Physical attacks aren't working? Then try this!"
Tetrax's eyes flared.
Heat vision erupted, drilling straight into Vilgax's chest!
SIZZLE—SIZZLE—
The scorching beams clashed violently with Vilgax's dense muscles.
Vilgax's expression twisted.
Suddenly—
His right arm clenched.
Electric currents surged from the implanted holes, crackling violently.
Under the stimulation, his arm swelled grotesquely—nearly as thick as his thigh.
"ROOOAR!!"
He swung.
CRACK!!
The golden telekinetic field shattered instantly.
Brainstorm's screen flickered violently as he was hurled backward.
At the same time—
Vilgax's speed skyrocketed.
His elbow smashed directly into Tini's face.
PFFT!!
Blood sprayed as she staggered back.
Vilgax grabbed her by the neck—
And without even looking—
Slammed her body forward like a weapon.
CLANG!!
Tetrax flew head-on into her.
Both were smashed into the ground, deeply embedded.
"If I dragged this out," Vilgax said savagely, flexing his arm, "I could still grind you down. But this is faster."
"Cough… cough…"
Tetrax tried to rise, only for pain to wrack his body.
Tini's armor shattered completely.
"Telekinetic storm!!"
Brainstorm forced himself up, lifting all the scattered metal debris.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Metal compressed into blades and shot toward Vilgax.
"It's useless!!"
Vilgax swung his arm violently.
A shockwave blasted the sword rain away.
Brainstorm exhausted his last strength to defend—
Then collapsed.
A crack spread across his screen.
The battlefield fell silent.
Vilgax stood alone.
Victorious.
"…Is this Vilgax's power?"
"The Galactic Volunteers aren't weak—they maintain peace across the Milky Way…"
"And yet they lost?"
The Plumbers watching trembled.
Duty urged them forward.
Fear pinned them in place.
They couldn't move.
"Since none of you can fight… Then die."
Vilgax reached for Tetrax's throat.
"Disgusting, Vilgax." A teasing voice drifted down from above.
"The Vilgax I remember grew stronger through effort—breaking the limits of his species. Not someone relying on cheap mutations."
A figure hovered in mid-air, arms crossed.
Atomix.
Compared to the Vilgax of Ethen's universe—
This one was fragile.
Vilgax slowly looked up.
His pupils shrank.
Fanatical killing intent flooded his eyes.
"Only I could force you out! Ben Tennyson—your Omnitrix is mine!!"
"Brother Ben… it really is you!"
"Brother Ben!!"
Hope exploded across the battlefield.
"…How many times do I have to say it? I'm not him."
Atomix rubbed his head, annoyed.
"You're not?!" Vilgax stared wildly.
"No Omnitrix emblem—just a fake?!"
"Damn fake!!"
BANG!!
Atomix raised his hand.
A nuclear blast slammed into Vilgax's chest, launching him a hundred meters away.
Vilgax crashed hard, body twitching violently.
"A fake? No. I'm his fully evolved form."
Atomix landed calmly.
DING! Mission Issued: Vilgax Is Back…
Objective: Defeat Vilgax.
Reward: 30 Reward Points
"Hey—System!" Atomix roared internally.
"This is Vilgax! Thirty points?! Are you fucking kidding me?!"
DING! Repeated opponents yield reduced rewards. Parallel versions are not exempt.
"…Tch."
Vilgax struggled upright, furious.
"You ambushed me—despicable!!"
"Shut up." Atomix's voice was ice-cold.
"One more word and I'll kill you."
Killing intent flooded the area.
Everyone realized—
This wasn't Ben.
And he definitely wasn't a Plumber.
"Only thirty points…"
Atomix raised his hand again, nuclear energy gathering.
Vilgax broke into a cold sweat.
Was this it?
Then—
Atomix lowered his arm.
A cruel smile formed.
"Instead… I'll use you as training. You're alive only because you're my practice dummy."
Humiliation crushed Vilgax.
He roared and charged.
WHOOSH!
Green light flashed.
A figure appeared—
Wearing a welder's mask and work clothes.
Heatblast.
He carried welding equipment, tongs glowing red-hot.
"Pyronite?!" Vilgax laughed wildly.
"The weakest trash—only Ben's versions ever mattered!!"
Heatblast's muffled voice echoed.
"As a welder… Making the workpiece smooth is part of the job."
Energy surged.
The welding rod glowed white-hot.
Vilgax's hand closed in—
WHOOSH!
The rod flashed.
Vilgax froze.
His arm flew into the distance.
A clean, cauterized stump remained.
"I even sealed the wound," Heatblast said calmly.
"No need to thank me."
"My… arm…" Vilgax screamed.
"You dare—!!"
"You never learn." Heatblast slashed again—
Vilgax barely escaped, crashing backward.
The ground split open behind him.
"Too bad." Heatblast sighed.
"Didn't cut you in half."
Vilgax panted.
He switched tactics—hurling debris.
Heatblast cut through it, but his glow dimmed.
Endurance was the weakness.
Vilgax laughed.
"I've found it!!"
Green light flashed.
Four Arms emerged—wearing construction gear.
"Four Arms."
Vilgax roared, muscles swelling monstrously.
"I'll crush you!!"
Four Arms crossed his four arms.
Calm.
Vilgax's punch descended.
BANG!!
