Chapter 134 - Chapter 135: Wait for Me!!

"Giorno is right," Bucciarati said, "I need partners to betray the BOSS, but I won't order you. You can choose to join or not join on your own."

His words plunged everyone into silence, making them tremble. Bucciarati closed his eyes tightly, seemingly not forcing them to join him at all, not even wanting to look.

"You need to be clear," Abbacchio suddenly said, "Fugo is right, you are putting your subordinates in danger for the sake of a little girl you've only known for a few hours."

"We could have happily returned to Naples and become new executives."

"No," Bucciarati said calmly, his tightly shut eyes gazing into the void. "I wouldn't be happy returning to Naples like this."

Abbacchio paused, silently watching Bucciarati with his eyes closed. He swallowed, then let out a silent sigh, seemingly having made a decision.

"Speaking of returning to Naples," Abbacchio said, walking to the edge of the cliff with his hands in his pockets, looking at the countless orange houses with pointed roofs. Each house held a family. Abbacchio gave a bitter smile. "I was homeless anyway, so I'll go with you."

"Hey! Abbacchio! Are you crazy?!" Fugo yelled.

"I... what should I do... I'm scared... Bucciarati..." Narancia crouched on the ground, holding his head. "I'm really so scared..."

"Just order me... please..." Narancia said loudly. "What are you planning to do?"

Although Bucciarati couldn't see, he heard Narancia's choked voice. He stood up. "Narancia, I won't order you. I even want you to return to Naples."

"I'm going to find Trish's mother first, and bring her with us to uncover the Boss's true identity."

"Tr... Trish... Trish's mother?" Narancia said, trembling.

"The Assassination Team and the Boss have already been to the hospital, don't you know that?" Fugo said loudly. "If the Boss would even kill Trish, then Trish's mother would have died long ago!"

Fugo seemed to feel frustrated, his voice echoing in the Clock Tower Plaza. This Clock Tower Plaza was on top of a not-so-tall mountain.

"I know..." Trish, who had been silent, suddenly spoke. She suddenly bowed ninety degrees to Narancia, and then continued to bow repeatedly, her voice choked with tears.

"I know, I know! I know my mother might already be dead... but I beg of you, I beg of you, let me go see her..."

"She's my mother, I beg of you..."

"I really can't lose her... I beg of you..." Trish kept bowing to Fugo and Narancia, each time with great force, and each time saying, "I beg of you..."

The sunlight, already rising into the sky, shone down on the city... The city's warm daylight was so familiar to Trish... Every day of her short life she had watched it rise and set, along with her lonely mother living in those orange, pointed-roof houses that seemed copied and pasted.

"I beg of you... please save my mother..."

"Alright, Trish." Bucciarati walked behind Trish, placing his hand on her bent back and saying, "It's getting late, let's go..."

Trish slowly straightened up, nodding silently.

Giorno pulled Bucciarati, Trish silently followed behind, and Abbacchio opened the car door.

As he was getting into the car, Bucciarati seemed to remember something and immediately turned to Narancia, saying:

"Narancia, when you go back to Naples, don't forget to go to school. Study hard, at least get into high school."

These words lingered in Narancia's ears. He felt as if he was back in that unforgettable afternoon, when his kind mother, completely blind due to an eye disease, said to the air:

"Narancia, even if Mama isn't here, you must study hard, at least get into high school..."

After his mother finished speaking these words, she was buried on a rainy day.

Bucciarati got into the car, Giorno continued to clean Bucciarati's eyes, Abbacchio drove, and Trish hugged her knees.

They began to drive down the winding mountain road.

"Now, let's finally talk about our future plans," Abbacchio said. "There are two possibilities at the hospital: Trish's mother is very unfortunate, or we encounter the Assassination Team, or the Assassination Team has already abducted her."

"I can feel it…" Trish whispered, "My mother, she hasn't…"

"Wait!" Abbacchio slammed on the brakes, and everyone lurched forward.

"What is it?" Bucciarati asked, his eyes closed.

"Narancia…"

Giorno and Trish quickly looked out the window… Narancia was drenched in sweat, having run for quite a distance. He shouted loudly—

"Bucciarati! Abbacchio! Giorno!"

"Wait for me!!!"

"Time skip?" Formaggio said in surprise, "To have a Stand Ability of this level, he truly is the man who controls the entire organization."

The quiet hospital room was crowded with an entire team of Assassination Team members. After being scattered for several hours, they had finally reunited.

"Yes, after Illuso rescued Trish's mother, the Boss wanted to continue the kill. Then he met with me and the Captain. After our confrontation, we understood his Stand Ability," Melone explained. He had fallen from the fifth floor and landed on a car.

"Then the Boss will surely kill Trish now," Formaggio mused, his right arm amputated to avoid being infected by Purple Haze.

"This isn't about Trish right now. The key is the Captain," Prosciutto said, walking to the center of the group.

Then everyone's gaze fell upon Risotto. His cold body lay motionless on the hospital bed, completely devoid of vital signs. Most horrifying was a large, empty black hole in his right chest, like the gaping maw of the God of Death, constantly reminding the Assassination Team members that their Captain was dead.

Johnson Joffrey's Reversed Hierophant placed its clasped hands on Risotto's chest, persistently pulling Risotto's soul back from the God of Death, filling that lifeless corpse.

"Yes, Giorno Giovanna can save the Captain," Johnson Joffrey explained, "His Stand, Gold Experience, can imbue inanimate objects with life force, which is beyond my capabilities."

"As long as he injects life energy into the Captain's body, this body can once again house a soul."

Just as Giorno injected life into Bucciarati's corpse, Bucciarati, through his own will, kept his soul in his body, though always separate. But Reversed Hierophant can merge body and soul into one.

Third update complete. Happy off-duty worker. I will definitely repay what I owe everyone. Tomorrow, I will summarize how much I owe for August.

Also recommending a book by a good friend of mine, "My Stand is Zi-O."
