Enel roared, attacking Victor with relentless fists and kicks.
As expected, Victor's physical skills were formidable, but Enel's were even stronger. From the start, he had the upper hand, constantly suppressing and overpowering his opponent.
Although Victor blocked every attack, Enel's dominance was clear.
They said women would be defeated by men? Lies!
"Enel, you're just getting warmed up. Next, I'll get serious!"
Victor sneered. He had been on the defensive from the start, letting Enel's arrogance peak, while testing the limits of his physical skills.
The battle confirmed that, compared to his Devil Fruit powers, Enel's raw physical ability was relatively poor—he could probably only reach the level of a Vice Admiral.
"Yeah, hahaha! Come on! Stop hiding! Have you heard of the Heart Net? You won't even touch me!"
As the fight continued, Enel's arrogance surged. He was confident Victor had reached his limit and could not possibly be his opponent.
"Heart Net?"
Victor laughed inwardly. Observation Haki—nothing special.
At this point, Enel didn't know Victor had been hiding his abilities. He believed he was invincible.
Suddenly, Victor vanished.
Enel opened his mouth to yell, "You agreed not to use your Devil Fruit powers!" But when Victor dodged, there was no flash of lightning.
Wasn't that the speed of the Thunder Fruit?!
Ping!
Before Enel could react, a fist slammed into his chest.
It hurt more than the previous abdomen strike. Pain shot through him, and he staggered backward.
But that was only the beginning. Several circular shockwaves hit him next.
Mist Kicks · Half Moon Slash!
Victor used his speed and Armament Haki to catch Enel off guard, but didn't pursue recklessly. Instead, he combined storm kicks and finger guns to wear Enel down from a distance.
Finger Gun Gatling!
Each finger gun struck like bullets; each kick was a cutting storm. Even a god couldn't withstand such a numerical assault. While most attacks were blocked by Enel's Heart Net, a few slipped through, causing occasional pain.
"It hurts so much!"
"Asshole! You're not following the rules! Is this taijutsu?!"
Enel cursed furiously. The tables had turned, and now he was the one being suppressed. His embarrassment grew by the second.
How badly he wanted to use the Devil Fruit now!
But he had stipulated: whoever uses the Devil Fruit is the younger brother.
Even if he did, Victor would respond in kind.
Where the hell did this freak come from?!
"Of course it's physical skills. There's a Blue Ocean beneath the Sky Island, where the truly powerful gather. If you can still be called a god there, then you're a true god! Enel, your vision is too short!"
Victor continued to attack with perfect-level finger guns and storm kicks. Without using the Thunder Fruit, Enel could only take the beating passively.
Enel had been unlucky. With his fruit powers, he could have dominated the world—but he had met Luffy, immune to lightning. That was tolerable. But now, Victor was his greatest misfortune.
Victor possessed the Thunder Fruit too. He knew Observation Haki and the three colors of Haki. He even surpassed Enel in physical combat. Not to mention his swordsmanship, usually combined with thunder for devastating effect.
Even facing the three Admirals, Enel would have been better off than facing Victor.
"Ahhhh!! Where did you come from? I'm so pissed off!"
Enel desperately tried to defend against Victor's relentless attacks. Each finger gun and kick made him flinch, nearing collapse. He finally realized the truth: the man in front of him was toying with him.
Weak physical skills? Lies. Fake.
Victor's constant onslaught shattered Enel's confidence. He could not accept that what he could do, Victor could replicate—and what he could not, Victor could perform.
It was too much for the arrogant "god" to accept; his fighting spirit plummeted.
Enel had rarely met anyone who could survive more than a few seconds against the Thunder Fruit. That had been his downfall against Luffy. Luffy's fighting will—stronger than his—had won the day.
"I'm from the Blue Sea! To be honest, Enel, whether it's Sky Island or here, calling yourself a god is ridiculous!"
Victor continued his assault—but noticed something impressive. Even though Enel was arrogant and cruel, he respected the rules. He did not resort to the Devil Fruit.
At this point, Enel's arrogance was completely broken. The next step was to convince him to join Victor's pirate crew.
"People don't fear God. Fear itself is God! Enel, being a god here is a joke! In the Blue Sea, when your name strikes fear into others, you'll earn a title. Do you know my title?"
Thunder God Lin Qi!!!
Victor's voice echoed with the sound of thunder. This was not the Thunder Fruit—it was a provocation.
"Hahaha!"
Hancock and Daisy Margaret couldn't help laughing. As expected of Victor—he treated Enel like a fool, even claiming his bounty code as a title.
"Thor? I am Thor! I am fear itself!!"
Enel roared. Just as he finished, Victor charged forward, first using Conqueror's Haki to intimidate him, then unleashing a full-strength Armament Haki punch to knock him to the ground.
Blood seeped from the corner of Enel's mouth. Even on the ground, he had not broken the rules.
He glared at Victor. Everything else was forgivable—but the title of Thunder God was his!
To his surprise, Victor didn't attack further. Instead, he extended a hand.
"Enel-kun! Come with me! Join my pirate crew and head to the Blue Sea! Prove to the world you are the god! Take the name of Thunder God!!"
