Luke said indifferently.
Although she had some memories of the Earth Mother Goddess, it was more like watching a movie, and a terribly boring one at that.
Sacrifice, bloodshed, enslavement… she felt no connection.
Her only regret was losing the superpower she had just gained.
"Here."
A crystal skull landed in Luke's arms.
Luke was slightly stunned.
"For me?"
"Yes, but there's one condition: if you dare to misuse your superpower, you'll have to do homework for the rest of your life."
Mainly, this thing was Luke's head, and Richard felt a bit uncomfortable using it.
"Yes! Thank you, Big Brother Richard."
Luke cheered, holding up the crystal skull.
She had superpowers!
"Luke has superpowers too!"
Nina wiped away her tears and also jumped and cheered with Luke. She had a companion with superpowers just like her.
"I want superpowers too."
Penny looked on longingly.
She wondered how old she would have to be to have superpowers like her father.
Flint, sitting in the security room, had no idea that his daughter had remembered his words to comfort her.

New York streets.
All the streets had been repaired.
The style was very different from the past, with a solemn and majestic decor. Some streets looked like legendary holy cities.
However, the patterns on them were no longer Gods, but Demons.
New York residents had no complaints about this, and were even quite happy.
After all, Demons could bring tangible benefits, while God could not.
This country had completely abandoned its faith in God.
Pedestrians came and went.
Heading towards one place.
Today was the day of judgment, the trial of the alien invasion's culprits.
Along the way, people would nod in greeting whenever they saw someone wearing a badge on their chest. If they encountered a hero who had participated in the war, they would excitedly go up to ask for an autograph.
"It's Iceman."
"And Pyro."
The onlookers cheered.
John responded with a warm smile to each one.
He liked this feeling.
Bobby, beside him, was a bit tired but still forced a smile.
"Pyro, who's the top and who's the bottom between you and Iceman?"
"Go, we support you, same-sex is true love."
The cheers from these fans made John's smile stiffen.
He'd kill that ice-head sooner or later!
Upon entering the venue.
"Ice-head, what's wrong with your smile? That's not what the training instructor taught you."
John asked, feigning concern. He, of course, knew why he was like this; it was retaliation against him.
Before Bobby could speak, a petite figure jumped onto his back.
"Big Brother Bobby!"
"Anna? What are you doing here?"
Bobby was a bit surprised.
"Because my mom is one of the investors in this venue."
Anna felt for the first time that her mom's identity was somewhat useful.
"Big Brother Bobby, come on, I found you a good spot where you can see the whole venue."
Anna pulled Iceman, ready to go.
"Anna, I still have friends here."
Bobby wanted to politely decline.
"It's okay, Bobby, you go ahead, don't worry about me."
John said with a smile.
"Thank you, Big Brother Pyro. Let's go, Big Brother Bobby."
Bobby could only be dragged along.
John silently took a photo and sent it to the Mutant group chat.
Everyone who had been lurking immediately surfaced.
"Who do you think Bobby will choose?"
"Do we even need to guess? It must be Kelly. Choosing Anna would be deadly."
"Not deadly, Bobby's ability is good, he'd probably be taken as research material instead."
"Can't he choose both?"
"…"
"…"
"…"

"Oolong, come to my office after the meeting." Professor.
"Yes…"
John shook his head and put away his phone. Idiot, even if you had that thought, you couldn't say it out loud.
