"GET DOWN!" Vivian shouted, Floria snapped from her thoughts and Vivian cursed and tackled her to the ground. "We're under attack, kid. Stay here, don't move." Vivian clenched her jaw and opened the door, "What happened?! I thought this route was suppose to be safe!" The head of the guards' attention snapped to her, "We apologize, my lady. It was. We've been ambushed by assassins, They're targeting you!"
Vivian ran a hand through her hair, then glanced at Floria, *It was written that Floria had a abilities for battle but... she's still a kid, oh, curse it!* Vivian spoke to Floria, "Can you help, Brat?" FLoria scowled at being brat once agains and huffed, crossing her arms, Vivian sighed, looking at her, "Listen, brat. I'm your master, and trust me, I'm not cruel enough to send a child into battle, but my knights are getting killed, and since we'll die one way or another, we could TRY to save ourselves, atleast." Floria's ears perked, "Fine" she hissed out. Vivian smirked, then turned to the head of the guards, "Oi! Cover the brat! That's an order!" The guard was stunned, but then he shuddered, Vivian had a reputation for being cruel to those who doubted her orders, so he complied.
Meanwhile, Floria stepped out a bit dazedly, she had doubted when Floria had said that she wasn't cruel enough t send a kid into battle but... maybe it was worth believing her, after all, *she even asked someone to cover for me*. Floria looked at the knight, who was clearly only doing the bare minimum for covering for her, but before she could snap at him- Vivian's voice cut through"CAN YOU NOT HANDLE COVERING FOR A KID, YOU USELESS KNIGHT?" The knight jumped with freight, immediately complying. "Fine, since you looked out for me, I'll return the favor" Floria muttered, raising her hand as she closed her eyes, chanting a spell. Red swirls of light surrounded her palm and she launched the spell, all the assassins fell.
Vivian stepped out, "How'd you do it? Only the assassins fell." Floria opened her mouth to answer, but before she could, Vivian pulled her behind her, then- SLASH
