Few Hours Before
As Professor Eldrich kicked the crystallized figure away from Rispero, it stood up, unfazed by the attack.
"So, what is your name?" Eldrich asked
"My name bears no meaning, for I have the same name my father right there has"
"Oh," Eldrich
Eldrich shot arrows towards the figure which brushed it off effortlessly but Eldrich smiled
"You are really dumb"
The arrows which had been breezed far away suddenly took a different direction hitting the figure in the back
The figure shrieked before jumping to attack
As it drew closer, Eldrich smiled dodging the blows effortlessly, the figure posed no threat to Eldrich whatsoever.
It was just a battle junkie, but a thought lingered in Eldrich's mind.
'What is form and steal'
'We have gotten the form but not the steal'
'How does it work and how to counter it'
As the figure shot blood at Eldrich, Eldrich dodged it effortlessly but to the surprise and amusement of the figure.
The blood which had splattered on the ground suddenly spiked up in the air catching him by surprise, one grazed Eldrich which made Eldrich smirk
As the blood spiked in all directions, Eldrich dodged it without effort.
As Eldrich dodged the spikes, the figure charged with a ray of assaults which Eldrich had been blocking
"Barrier", a light shaped barrier covered Eldrich keeping the figure out
The figure punched the wall with all its might but to no avail
"Come on, this is a Level 5 barrier—nothing you can break easily."
The figure continued punching the wall before stopping
'Why did it stop' a thought running through Eldrich's mind
'Why stop or have it started developing some brain cell'
As the figure stepped back, it smiled in an unsettling way creeping out Eldrich and the students
In an instant, a blood spike grazed Eldrich face inches away from the eye
"Wow, color me impressed" Eldrich said
"Oh, why did you let it graze you" the Rispero which had been facing Nicholas said
"Now, you find out what steal means" the Rispero said
The crystallized figure began taking a distinct shape resembling Eldrich physique. As Eldrich rushed to attack it, the figure spoke
"Barrier", the very same one blocking it before now blocked Eldrich outside
"You son of a bitch" Eldrich said annoyed
"Yeah… I guess I am." the crystallized figure said mimicking Eldrich voice
"Dispel" Eldrich said as the barrier closed down as he shot ice affinity arrows at the figure
The figure blocked the arrows using his own set of bows and arrows.
"If you have all of my skills, I assume you have them at most ninety nine percent"
"That is the thing about copy, it never beats the original"
The arrows that had been pushed away stuck into the ground.
Eldrich opened up his book, as he said the word
"Snowland"
Eldrich snapped his finger as the temperature around the whole hall had dropped to a negative thirty degree Celsius
All the students were freezing cold except Nicholas and Rispero who had been trapped in Nicholas Helian Domain.
The figure attempted to strike Eldrich but all his attacks had frozen before reaching Eldrich
"I always wonder, why can I not use something else apart from Helain Domain"
The figure, which had been struggling, could not stand properly as it groaned in pain.
It stared at Eldrich, like an insurmountable wall of talent it could never overcome, even after copying or stealing his abilities.
"So, I thought to myself, why don't I train my arcana affinities to their max my vision can imagine right now"
"Do you know what happens when your blood reaches absolute zero?"
The figure groaned in agony
"You reached a state called flash freeze instantly and the person dies"
As the figure body began crumbling into pieces, Eldrich smiled menacingly as he tapped its head
"See you later"
The figure crumbled into a million pieces as the figure was destroyed.
Eldrich turned to see all the students on the floor before he released Snow land allowing everyone to catch their breath
"Sorry kids"
As Arwen kicked the door open, she and Elior began fighting all the figures inside.
Majority went after Arwen in attempt to subdue her but her strength knew no bounds and she handled them effectively
As majority were knocked out, Elior picked up one which was battered
"Can you tell us where headmistress of Arcana Academy is"
"Go to hell" the figure said
Elior kept quiet for a split second before looking at the figure with indifferent eyes
"You know, I don't really give a crap, you got two options: one, you would tell us quietly or two: you would let her handle it"
Both Elior and the figure turned to looked at Miss Arwen who was sitting on a pile of beaten people
The figure turned to look at Elior before speaking "I am ready to talk"
"Good"
After some time, Elior and Arwen arrived at a hidden base where the headmistress was being held.
She was in a glass tube sitting down looking at the ceiling. She had forgotten how long she had been trapped.
She could have gotten out but the very bottle on the inside restricted her from using her arcana
Headmistress Vale just hoped that someone would get here free and there were in front of her
"I am getting you out Headmistress" Arwen said as she clenched her fists, enhancing them with arcana, she broke it as the headmistress walked out slowly
"I am happy to see you Arwen" Vale said smiling
"Likewise,"
"How did you find me?" Vale asked
As Arwen attempted to speak, Elior, who had been quiet all along, suddenly spoke up interjecting her
"Miss Arwen saw one of the guards running while the academy was under attack, she followed him and I which had just left the lavatory accompanied hereafter"
"Oh, thank you Arwen" Vale said expressing her gratitude
"Yeah, my pleasure" Arwen said as she glared at Elior who just looked sideways
"You said the school was under attack?" Vale asked in fury
Her emotions had flipped because she had been trapped here for so long and because of the school
"Let's go" Vale said looking at Arwen and Elior
They both nodded as Vale stretched forth her hands.
Holding both hands, Vale looked up and said "Tel"
In an instant, Vale, Arwen and Elior had arrived in Astralis Academy.
The sight they saw was the school hall, part of it being destroyed as a crystalized blood figure which had gone berserk and grown a bit gigantic was fighting both Nicholas and Eldrich
"I got to handle this, excuse me" Vale said as she floated into the air
As Vale floated, Arwen turned to look at Elior
"What was that crap"
Elior just kept quiet before subliming into Arwen shadow
"What the hell"
Arwen could not understand what just happened and that really ticked off
As Rispero crawled to the door, as the winds pushed the door opened, a figure was standing while all men were on the floor
"Who are you?" Rispero asked hiding his pain
"I am Elior… your executioner."
"I have been waiting for you bastard"
