Chapter 130 - Chapter 130: Omega VS Ork Warboss

Chapter 130: Omega VS Ork Warboss

Amidst billowing smoke and dust, a powerful laser cannon shot toward the Ork warboss's body directly, but with a deafening boom, the Mek's advanced materials and energy shield protected him from the attack completely.

The attack still managed to shake the thirty-meter-tall super-Gargant mek. A swift figure suddenly flashed and appeared above the tall Ork warboss's head, his dazzling white jade power sword stabbing straight down toward the target.

The Ork warboss was startled when the psychic energy surging through his body suddenly burst forth violently, covering Omega's body with incredibly intense Ork psychic energy. Then he swung his powerful klaw upward, reaching for the sky.

At the same time, a sword pierced straight down, breaking through the thick metal defense on the Ork warboss's head and penetrating directly into his brain matter.

Roar!

With a pitiful roar of pain, the Ork warboss, disregarding his brain damage, grabbed Omega's body tightly, intending to crush him completely. Omega, already injured by the psychic shock, especially with his head buzzing, swung his left fist at the power klaw joint.

Boom!

A startling sound rang out as everyone below watched the two fight. Both the Space Marines and the Ork Nobs were shocked by the fierce battle display.

With a bang, Omega used the force of the explosion to fly backward into the air.

A massive warhammer, several meters in size, crashed down as the Ork warboss, despite his severe brain injury, forcefully suppressed the pain.

Boom!

Omega, whose mind and body were injured in mid-air, raised his sword to block, but was slammed to the ground by the hammer blow. The ground exploded violently beneath him, and dust rose everywhere. The Ork warboss screamed in pain and roared, swinging both hands to crush Omega to death.

During the stalemate between them, Dillion and the others fired shots to assist, hitting the Ork warboss's body, but to no avail.

Just then, a powerful laser cannon suddenly struck the massive warhammer directly, sending it flying into the air with a violent explosion. Omega was thrown back again by the blast force.

Crack!

Just as the Ork warboss staggered and took another step to give chase, Omega, still in mid-air, flashed and disappeared from sight. The Ork warboss instinctively raised his power klaw to block in front of him defensively, ready to grab his opponent as soon as he appeared above his head again.

As if within the Ork warboss's expectations, Omega once again appeared above his head. Upon seeing that his opponent was on guard, he abandoned his thrust and, with a few slight movements, punched the joint of the massive power klaw hard.

Click!

Under the gravity hammer's force, the opponent's power klaw was damaged and slowed significantly, making it difficult to grip properly. A sword strike blocked it.

The Ork warboss's towering body became their battleground. Omega moved rapidly, relentlessly damaging the joints of the super-Gargant mek. With a fierce collision, Omega was thrown back to the ground by the immense force of the impact.

The Ork warboss took a few steps forward, his psychic energy flowing like water into the damaged crevices. He then nimbly leaped down with his warhammer raised.

Boom!

With a single blow, the ground shattered dozens of meters away, sending up clouds of dust. Omega charged back in quickly, his sword flashing as he swung it down on his opponent's right hand, which held the hammer. The Ork warboss swung his hammer sharply, shaking Omega's footing beneath him.

On the battlefield around them, Omega was seen fiercely battling the incredibly powerful Ork warboss. Amidst the deafening roar, dust filled the area within hundreds of meters, and no one dared approach them.

After an hour of intense fighting, Omega was somewhat surprised by how powerful the Ork warboss was; the sheer force of his psychic energy nearly overwhelmed him.

Omega's long-standing mental-defense training, which had endured for over eighty years, saved him once again.

The battle gradually reached a stalemate, but the humans gradually gained the upper hand against the Ork army. Seeing that the Primarch was struggling, more than a dozen Warlord-class Titans moved in to assist him.

Due to the Ork warboss's enormous size, he became an extremely conspicuous target on the field.

Boom boom boom!

The heavy artillery bombardment halted the Ork warboss's advance, enraging him so that he slammed his hammer into a Warlord-class Titan nearby. Amid the deafening roar, the Titan was damaged and flickering with fire when Omega suddenly appeared before it, protectively.

Slash!

A swift sword light flashed past, severing the Ork warboss's hammer-wielding wrist cleanly. The massive warhammer crashed to the ground with a deafening roar. Omega used the momentum to propel himself forward, punching away the Ork's power klaw with his left hand and plunging his sword into the Ork's body deeply.

Despite his injuries, the wounded Ork warboss charged forward recklessly, firing his mek's cannon at Omega. In a flash, Omega charged and rammed into the Ork's head directly.

Boom!

The Ork super-Gargant mek, over thirty meters tall, crashed to the ground heavily. Amidst billowing dust, a mighty laser cannon shot into the Ork warboss's furiously open maw, causing a deafening explosion inside.

As the smoke and explosions subsided, Omega stood quietly atop the enormous Ork mek, with only the Ork warboss's severed head beside him.

The numerous Titans and intelligent meks watching the scene were deeply shocked by the display. Dillon quickly approached and asked with concern, "Primarch, are you injured badly?"

"Cough, cough, it's nothing serious!" Omega coughed a few times. With the Primarch's enhanced physiology, he would recover in no time at all. What surprised him was the Ork warboss's strength; both his physical power and psychic abilities had reached the Primarch's level.

He didn't fight head-on directly, so his opponent's powerful strength didn't have much effect on him tactically.

But looking at the gravity hammer in his left hand and the power sword in his right hand, he realized that the gravity hammer was too weak against mighty enemies; it could shatter Warlord-class Titans, not destroy them in one blow.

After this battle, the power of the gravity hammer needed to be increased to the point where it could destroy the enemy's large mechs with a single blow.

Faced with a large human army equipped with heavy weaponry, the Ork army led by the Bloodthirsty Ukel Ulger was annihilated by the Alpha Legion forces, marking a turning point in the war between humans and Orks on this planet.

When the Space Marines stripped the Ork warboss of his super-Gargant armor, they were shocked to see the Ork warboss's body, nearly seven meters tall and incredibly muscular.

His muscles were like the gnarled roots of an old green tree; no wonder his hammer blows were so powerful. Everyone was deeply shocked just by looking at the corpse of this Ork warboss.

This was the first time Omega had seen such a massive Ork warboss in person. As the leader of a billion Orks, it was only natural that he possessed such astonishing power.

As one of the dozen or so Primarchs in the Imperium, Omega and Alpharius's strength was probably below average among the group. This was evident from their height and their position within the Imperial hierarchy.

Other Primarchs were around three meters tall physically and were unique Primarchs within a Legion, primarily serving as generals in campaigns.

The Alpha Legion had two Primarchs, which could be considered as two Primarchs combined to form a single Primarch equivalent for other Legions.

The Emperor initially positioned the Alpha Legion as an espionage and intelligence unit, not as a primary offensive force. Over time, Omega gradually transformed half of the Legion into one of the main offensive forces.

Three months later

The Ork army was finally reduced to a mere ten to twenty million. After seven or eight months of positional warfare, the ten war bases launched their first counteroffensive operations. The number of war bases gradually increased across the planet, systematically eliminating the Orks methodically.

Omega had been relentlessly slaughtering Orks until he destroyed an Ork base city entirely, only to find that there were no more targets left.

Skol, standing beside him quietly, showed neither joy nor sorrow on his face, calmly stating a fact: "Primarch, we have won the campaign!"

Omega surveyed the surrounding warriors and shouted, "Burn the Ork corpses completely! Don't let them sprout from the ground again!"

The order was given, and the surviving members of the Alpha Legion on the planet began the cleanup work immediately. Omega contacted the data intelligence agency officer, Joe, and learned the war's statistics, which showed staggering casualties.

Of course, this was compared with past war data collected; it was considered favorable relative to the Legion's historical war data.

The Alpha Legion's bombing tactics meant that even though they were initially unaware that Effie had an army of over a billion Orks, they had still prepared an excessive amount of weapons and ammunition beforehand, enabling them to carry out precision bombing based on data analysis.

With prior predictions from data models, Omega had designed and modified the war bases in advance, preventing the entire Legion from charging head-on into a direct confrontation with the Ork army.
