For egg-laying creatures, breaking the shell is the first test. Innate physical weakness or a shell that is too hard could lead to failure in breaking the shell. However, this giant egg was not produced naturally but was created by Arceus, so its body is extremely healthy.
The arm was just a beginning. It seemed as if it had some scale armor, but that was just an illusion caused by the mucus inside the eggshell reflecting off the Diamond Bed light. As the area where it broke through the egg grew larger, its overall shape became more complete.
The gray-green skin that was exposed looked tender but had the texture of rock. Both arms had emerged from the shell, and soon its head pushed through above, revealing its entire body structure.
Although the lower body was still in the shell, judging from its current structure, its arms appeared somewhat short, and it might even be difficult to touch its own head.
A long dull horn grew at the top of its head, almost similar in length to its arms.

Every time a Larvitar grows up to become a Tyranitar, it means a mountain disappears from this world. It's a true dirt-eating species, and the soil they consume is the energy required for their evolution.
In a sense, every Larvitar is a natural foodie. Arceus only shaped its life but did not nurture its character, which is entirely random.
This Larvitar went through a different kind of prenatal education with Yamato using the Power of the Evergreen, so this Larvitar is a bit socially anxious by nature.
Not the socially anxious one the master found at Silver Mountain, but a social terrorist. When it was born, it naturally saw its creator, waving excitedly at Arceus and then rolling off the Diamond Bed.
This allowed it to completely break free of its eggshell, revealing its lower body.
Its small legs were equally short but rather stout. The abdomen, unlike other areas, had a special piece of red scale armor to protect its vulnerable belly and also revealed its uniquely shaped tail.
It didn't care about this; after getting up, it started eating its eggshell. In just a few bites, the hard eggshell was completely gone.
Then it rubbed its little belly, not looking satisfied at all, and then focused on the bed it lived on as an eggshell.
Larvitar eats soil, but not just soil. Only soil cannot make up a mountain; the minerals and rocks in a mountain are innumerable, so these minerals are also part of its diet.
At this moment, it paid no attention to Yamato and Arceus behind it, hugging the Diamond Bed and starting to gnaw on it. Although for the just-born Larvitar this bed was a bit hard, it began eating the large piece of diamond piece by piece as if it were hard candy.
"Fath...Foster Father..it's...eating diamonds?"
She'd seen those special Pokemon that eat rocks and metals at the mine, but she didn't expect a "baby" that just hatched to do such things.

A regular Larvitar needs to eat up a mountain to evolve into Tyranitar. These minerals are its source of nutrition and the root of their strength. This is also why Arceus created Larvitar to let it slowly evolve.
Like the Aggron from before, the Pirate World's unique rare minerals allow Larvitar a better growth condition, and it greatly differs in size.
Ordinary Larvitar, even on the eve of evolution, would only reach about 0.6 meters, but this Larvitar was nearly two meters tall at birth, about the same as Yamato now.
It was created on the premise of becoming a war beast, and when it grows, it will be a giant monster that does not lose out to Emboar; compared to Tyranitar, it will be closer to its original form - Godzilla.
However, correspondingly, a mountain won't suffice for such a giant monster's growth needs. It likely needs to consume an island to grow properly.
