Chapter 580 - Chapter 487: God and Slave!

Revoke Fusion, a Continuous Spell Card that seals [Polymerization].

Besides being able to banish three Polymerization cards, this card has another relatively powerful effect: it can negate [Polymerization] Spell and Trap Cards without limitation, then inflict damage to the opponent.

Normally, to get around this effect, one must first use a Spell Card, then follow up with a Quick-Play Spell to avoid the effect and conduct a fusion when it's chained and negated.

However, this is not a problem for Tenjo Hikari.

Although this card can negate any Spell and Trap Cards with "Polymerization" in their name without restriction, there are many Fusion Spells and Traps without "Polymerization" in their name.

For instance, Tenjo Hikari's "ace" card, one that is only used when Tenjo Hikari is going all out—Flame Swordsrealm.

That card can perform fusions and is not a Continuous Spell Card with [Polymerization] in its name.

With that strategy, a Fusion Summon can still be performed.

However—

Lilos also considered this: if "Polymerization" is restricted, then Tenjo Hikari's other two options must be considered—

Cards similar to "Magical Meltdown," which prevents fusion cards from being negated, and cards similar to "Flame Swordsrealm," which allow multiple continuous Fusion Summons.

So—

"Normal Summon, Spell Reactor ・RE!"

Hmm?

Tenjo Hikari raised an eyebrow slightly.

Oh—

So it's a reactor.

A snake-shaped robot loaded with a cellular machine gun hovered on the field.

Spell Reactor ・RE, LV 3, Dark Attribute, Machine-Type, ATK 1200.

"Finally, I set a card and end my turn."

Count Finger gleefully set a card, exuding confidence.

Spell Reactor can destroy a Spell Card activated by the opponent and then inflict 800 points of damage.

As an interference, while not overwhelmingly powerful, this card has its advantages.

It is perfectly suited to interfere with Tenjo Hikari's monsters.

"How about it, Tenjo Hikari? This is the welcoming strategy I prepared for you!" Lilos crossed his arms and smiled.

"My turn, Draw." Tenjo Hikari glanced at the cards in hand, "To be honest, I'm starting to get a little tired of this."

"?" Lilos showed a puzzled expression on his face.

"Though your Fusion Army prides itself on being a Fusion Army, you're always dueling me with tactics aimed at fusions..." Tenjo Hikari looked at the monster cards in hand and casually picked one, placing it on the Duel Disk.

"Restricting Fusion Summons, limiting the Extra Deck, destroying fusions, or using No. monsters... Claiming to be the so-called Fusion Army yet lacking the courage to confront me with Fusion Monsters head-on."

"Tenjo Hikari—" Lilos bit his teeth tightly.

"Normal Summon, Predaplant Chlamydosundew."

"Tch..." Lilos's face immediately showed an expected embarrassment upon seeing this card.

In this setup of strategies, Tenjo Hikari had limited ways to bypass all seals for fusion, but there was only one—fusing with monsters.

Predaplant Chlamydosundew, LV 2, Dark Attribute, Plant-Type, ATK 600.

"Surprised?" Tenjo Hikari said casually, "But you should have fully anticipated this situation."

"Hmph, as a soldier of the professor, I've anticipated this long ago, just didn't expect that you happened to draw it..."

"Just happened?" Tenjo Hikari scoffed, "Foolish, ridiculous, you dare boast wisdom and tactics here?

[Revoke Fusion] isn't it able to view all the cards in my deck?

Upon seeing my deck contains Predaplants but not Chlamydosundew, shouldn't you have thought about this?"

Ah!!

Lilos was immediately at a loss for words, choked by Tenjo Hikari's words.

"The effect of Chlamydosundew, during the Main Phase, this card can perform a Dark Attribute fusion summon with monsters on the field or in hand.

I will fuse the Chlamydosundew on the field with Destiny Hero - Drawhand from the hand."

"Fusion Summon!"

"Predaplant Chimerafflesia!"

Predaplant Chimerafflesia, LV 7, Dark Attribute, Plant-Type, ATK 2500.

The gallant flower that once battled the Ultimate Dragon emerged struggling from the sand.

"Tch… that damn flower." Lilos felt a headache at once.

"The effect of Chimerafflesia—once per turn, target one monster on the field with levels lower than this card. That monster is banished!"

Tenjo Hikari pointed at Spell Reactor.

"Neither Spell Reactor nor your Continuous Spell Card can respond to monster effects! Begone, Spell Reactor!"

The Chimerafflesia grabbed the snake-shaped robot, swallowing it whole.

"Tsk…" Count Finger snorted coldly at the scene.

Didn't I say the tactics of the Other Dimension People were unreliable? Didn't Tenjo Hikari resolve the field with just one card?

"Entering Battle Phase!"

"Tsk, in the end, I have to rely on my own strategy—activate Trap Card, Inflate!"

The Chimerafflesia was about to attack directly when its body suddenly swelled, its branches and flower buds twitched, finally becoming thick and hard to move.

"Target one monster on the opponent's field. That monster's ATK and Defense Power become double, but it cannot attack directly."

Predaplant Chimerafflesia, ATK: 2500→5000.

Now it's higher than Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.

"Increasing the opponent's monster's ATK to 5000? What is Count Finger thinking?"
