Chapter 1036 - Chapter 323: Bird Lord Reincarnates, Ian Obtains Authority

Those Dementors shattered.

Unexpectedly, they can "return from death" from some place, no wonder the Raven is not worried about the death of his subordinates; shrill screams echoed from beneath the Dementors' empty hoods.

"This power should belong only to me."

The God of Death's voice was like the grind of a rusty blade.

"Such desecration."

He suddenly opened his bony hand, spewing countless rusty chains from his mouth. The chains seemed alive, slithering out like serpents.

They wove together in the air to form a celestial trap.

Ensnaring thousands of Dementors.

Ancient symbols of death covered the chains, each tightening elicited a grating metallic screech. Soon, the sky was filled with densely packed "bundles."

No life, nor death.

They hung in mid-air, languidly struggling.

The God of Death retracted the chains, his black robe billowing, preparing to soar down to the Human World to crash.

"Hold on."

The Raven's voice emerged from the clouds.

He appeared once more, his jet-black wings blotting out half the sky. However, the baby he had been carrying was no longer there.

The God of Death slowly turned, confronting the Raven from afar.

"For my plan," starlike glimmers flowed in the Raven's eyes, "you must go to sleep."

The air froze for a moment.

Next moment—

"Boom!!!"

Two divine powers collided fiercely! The God of Death swung his scythe, cutting a black arc across the heavens, fracturing space, revealing the chaotic void beyond.

"Do you dare show off such petty tricks?" The Raven screeched, his wings unleashing a storm of silver-gray, each feather turning into a blade, fiercely clashing against the deathly arc.

Sparks rained down like rain.

The earth moaned.

The sky tore apart.

Their battle transcended magic.

Every clash rewrote the laws of reality.

In face of the God of Death's deathly flood attack, the Raven swiftly spread his wings, summoning countless time-space fissures to divert the flood to different timelines.

Then discarded them.

Turning them into discarded destinies.

A rather rogue strategy.

Locking in his guaranteed victorious future.

Perhaps this was the main reason why the God of Death repeatedly tasted defeat, unable to contend with the Raven. After all, ancient deities clashed over whose rules bent the heavens more powerfully.

"You will suffer backlash for altering life and death! Outsider!"

The God of Death's roar shattered the clouds.

The Raven remained silent, determination flashing in his eyes. He suddenly folded his wings, transforming into a black light, charging directly at the God of Death's chest! The God of Death attempted to block with his scythe, but upon collision, found the Raven's form fading.

The Raven pierced through the God of Death's chest, seemingly plundering something incomprehensible to Ian, then the God of Death's entire body stiffened.

The God of Death's movements abruptly slowed, and the green fire in his eyes flickered uncertainly.

"Sleep now."

The Raven whispered.

"You think... this will..." The God of Death's scythe fell to the ground, creating a deep pit.

"It's enough." The Raven's wings completely enveloped the God of Death, "Before you awaken, it will all be over."

The God of Death's body began to crystallize, gradually sealed into a giant dark purple crystal. His last words echoed through the crystal, carrying a chilling prophecy:

"You will regret this... Raven... death... never... truly... sleeps..." The crystal solidified completely, suspended mid-air, the God of Death was trapped in some kind of sealed state.

"Time is short."

The Raven turned and glanced at Ian.

"Hmm, cool, Bird Lord is reincarnating."

He fluttered away.

Without the slightest sentiment for the Misty Illusion Realm.

Time is passing.

The empty volcanic crater.

Ian wanted to inspect the crystal containing the God of Death.

Suddenly.

He felt the God of Death's gaze shift towards him.
