Chapter 1179 - Chapter 376: God of Perfection_3

Boom!!!

The giant statue exploded into a rain of blood, the foul-smelling liquid showering down like rain, dyeing the sand dark red.

Ian stood in the rain, unharmed.

He looked up, gazing into the depths of the temple ruins. The entire temple suddenly trembled violently! Countless cracks appeared on the ground, and golden liquid surged out like blood from these fissures, coalescing into a giant sphere in the air. Vein-like patterns emerged on the surface of the sphere, and a humanoid silhouette was vaguely visible inside — the Evil God Embryo was undergoing its final transformation!

"It seems you've seized the chance, but even if you break out, so what?" Ian's magic wand sensed the power and automatically switched to defense mode. Yet he didn't retreat; instead, a smile of excitement spread across his face, as if he were finally facing the long-awaited challenge.

"Victory will only stand on my side."

The wizard's Invincible Heart rose within Ian.

The twilight at the horizon suddenly extinguished.

Ian looked up to see that the eastern sky, where the sun should have risen, was now replaced by a mass of writhing golden flesh. The surface glistened with a metallic luster and was covered in countless vein-like patterns pulsing rhythmically; each contraction caused the whole Memphis City to tremble.

Even more terrifying was that the light it emitted was no different from sunlight—warm, bright, full of life force—yet every plant it touched instantly withered, and animals convulsed on the ground.

Ian's magic wand automatically cast three layers of shields in front of him. He tentatively shot a "Severing Charm," but the spell was completely absorbed the moment it hit the golden flesh.

Not even the slightest ripple was stirred.

The Fiery Fire was the same.

Blue flames erupted skyward like a tornado, striking directly at the Evil God Embryo.

The fire split into countless threads in mid-air, each thread carrying the definition of "existence is nullity," enough to burn away concept itself, but the moment the flames touched the embryo—they were absorbed.

No explosion, no resistance, just like parched earth swallowing rainwater. The embryo's surface rippled slightly as if it were feeding. Immediately afterward, laughter emerged from within the embryo.

Deep, twisted, laden with countless overlapping voices as if tens of thousands of souls whispered simultaneously:

"Hahaha..." an ethereal laughter emanated from inside the embryo, a symphony of voices, "Oh, poor little wizard... still using magic like toys..."

Ian ignored the taunt. He quickly scanned his surroundings and, during this brief respite, began to carve a magic array into the ground. The tip of his wand emitted not ordinary sparks, but liquid Ancient Runes; each symbol ignited upon contact with the ground, forming blue fire marks.

In just a minute, the entire temple ruins were filled with a complex array of runes connected to form a giant three-dimensional magic array. These arrays spread like a neural network, covering a radius of several kilometers, with each stroke precise to the nanometer, constituting a massive array capable of distorting causal laws.

"Come now," Ian whispered, "let me see what you truly are."

At this moment—

The Evil Sun Embryo suddenly contracted.

Immediately, a cry that tore through the heavens resounded.

The embryo cracked open, not explosively, but peeling away gently like an eggshell. The blood and flesh receded like a tide, revealing a figure inside, a perfect humanoid suspended in mid-air.

He possessed an Apollonian visage with a body of golden proportions; every inch of skin radiated divine brilliance.

Seven golden halos spun behind his head, and the pure white robes flowed with no wind, with a complete Eye of the Ra embedded in his chest, emanating a warmth akin to the sun's glow.

At first glance, anyone would mistake him for the incarnation of the Sun God Ra.

However, Ian knew this was all merely a facade.
