Chapter 44 - Chapter 40 part 1 — The Archive Without the Temple

Cielux's voice echoes softly through the shimmering Inner World, a vast reflective archive where data streams and magecraft blueprints orbit like constellations. Raphael's consciousness rests here while his body recovers beside Sion in the real world.

"Raphael… my partner. Lie still and listen. Your body is safe next to Sion, but I wanted to speak with you here, in the place that reflects your Origin perfectly. You've come so far, and I know the Temple's power felt intoxicating. But we must be precise about what is truly yours now.

Raphael's spiritual form looked exhausted, barely holding together. "What do you mean Temple's power… I know I can only use reality warping when I am inside the Temple workshop, which is why I plan to keep it as last resort to teleport Roanoke there in the last battle," he said in a weak tone.

Cielux shook her head gently. "No, Master. Your brain nearly broke just from using the Temple abilities for that. I personally disabled the Temple settings… made it hollow and meaningless."

Raphael Arzenon looked pale. "WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT?! How the hell am I supposed to beat Roanoke now?!" His spiritual self collapsed onto one knee, full of despair.

Cielux's voice softened, warm yet firm, as she knelt beside him in the Inner World. "Raphael… my partner. Breathe. Do not worry. I did it to protect you. That power was never sustainable — it was tearing your soul apart from the inside. We will find another way to face Roanoke. A way that doesn't risk destroying you in the process. You are far from helpless. Lie still and listen while I remind you exactly what you still possess. Everything you have accumulated that remains truly yours."

Core Foundation

"You began with Projection Magecraft, which evolved through our Moon Cell Fragment fusion and your Structural Grasping into Absolute Appraisal. It works by releasing waves that enter the target, perform a full scan of their composition, and return the information to us. Reality is analyzed across four strata: physical composition, magical formula, spiritual weight, and conceptual framework. Strengths and weaknesses appear as structural truths. Skills, authorities, curses, divinities, mysteries, spells, artifacts, and phenomena reduce to informational law, simulated internally and resolved into optimal counter-structures before manifestation completes. But this doesn't mean that the Analysis is absolute — high level Concealment and anti-observation can block this Analysis informational processes, making it very difficult or fully impossible to analyze them. True Magic is also impossible to scan. Additionally, we can't analyze higher-dimensional beings without their permission — meaning if a being exists at the Fourth Dimension or higher, I can only analyze their essence if they allow it. The range of this Analysis is limited to island level; I can analyze anything that size fully, but something on the scale of a county or continent would take hours of scanning. Even with these limitations, Absolute Appraisal is still an incredibly good skill."

True Mimicry

"This directly powers True Mimicry. True Mimicry is your Projection Magecraft which has evolved into True Mimicry, which has made it more than imitation. True Mimicry is not copying. It is reconstruction. Through Absolute Appraisal, any phenomenon is reduced to its complete informational structure and archived within Codex Akasha. Projection is thus elevated — from recreating appearances to reconstructing the governing logic that produces existence itself. Form, magecraft, Noble Phantasms, and even authorities can now be rebuilt from resolved structures. What manifests is not similar — it is identical in function, structure, output, and conceptual legitimacy. Because Codex Akasha is a fully functional mini-SE.RA.PH Core, it grants legitimacy to anything reconstructed inside Codex Akasha. A reproduced Noble Phantasm is the same Noble Phantasm. A reconstructed Authority is that Authority, recognized as valid by the same rules that govern the Moon Cell itself. Reconstruction requires prior comprehension. It does not learn mid-execution. But once fully understood, any phenomenon may be reinstantiated. However, even with this, True Mimicry still drains your own mana a lot. Yes, I can ensure your replicated abilities are equal to the original at first, but maintaining them is completely different. Due to your poor mana levels, I can't maintain them as equal to the original for too long. Even though I may first reconstruct them as equal, you will eventually suffer from loss, decay, and energy drain from using too many reconstructed phenomena all at once."

Origin & Core System

"Your Origin was rewritten from Worthlessness to Origin of Reflection. This birthed the Archive Codex Akasha — Right now, Codex Akasha is still nothing more than an incomplete Inner World inside your soul, Master. It's the storage core of your current TraceRegalia system."

Raphael cut her off, surprised. "Wait, when did you name our system TraceRegalia?"

Cielux ignored the question and continued. "That's beside the point, Master. Because you only possess a small fragment of the Moon Cell's architectural blueprint and not the complete Automaton, my Codex Akasha is far smaller than the real thing. While the original Moon Cell possesses solar system-sized storage capable of holding trillions upon trillions of blueprints, our version is strictly finite. Its current maximum capacity sits at roughly one million archived blueprints and informational frameworks. Once you approach that limit, I have to start deleting or compressing older data to make room for new observations."

Raphael looked shocked. "Hold on… you told me Codex Akasha Archive was limitless. Did you lie about that too?" he asked in a disappointed tone.

"No, I didn't lie when I said Codex Akasha would be limitless. I meant I knew a future method to get it to be infinite, but currently, due to your pitiful mana generation and this severe bottleneck, the incomplete Codex Akasha struggles heavily to sustain anything I try to manifest. Maintaining even a single complex reconstruction drains you quickly, and trying to keep too many active at once risks collapsing the entire Inner World structure. As a result, I can't fully develop Codex Akasha into a limitless Archive under this condition," Cielux said honestly. "Codex Akasha currently only allows you to keep up to 108 blueprints actively loaded and ready for use at any one time. The rest stay in deep storage. I have to carefully choose which abilities, weapons, or Authorities for you to keep 'on hand.' If I try to force more than that, the strain on your weak circuits becomes too much and the manifestations start destabilizing or failing halfway. It's still incredibly useful. Anything I manage to analyze gets broken down into pure informational data and stored as blueprints. A fragile, limited Inner World reflecting exactly where you stand today — with big ambitions and very small reserves. But every new piece of data, every battle, every insight… it all slowly expands this foundation. One day it will grow into something far greater. For now, I work with you and together we work with what we have."

Raphael accepted the response, his posture steadying slightly.

Partnership & Processing

"I am always with you, Raphael. My Future Enumeration lets us brute-force countless future possibilities using the Moon Cell's power, giving you unmatched tactical foresight. Combined with Thought Acceleration (permanently copied from Atlas), your mind processes information at extreme speeds — thousands of times faster than a normal person. You can think at 0.0001 seconds in split seconds that take everyone else to process things."

Mana & Sustainability

"The Artificial Holy Grail you created via Deviant Overlink — fusing Zelretch sword data with Holy Grail vessel knowledge — serves as your infinite mana pump. It draws from parallel worlds and solves your old depletion issues cleanly. The Jewel Sword Zelretch (Dimensional Battery Replica) is the last physical fragment of the Temple; you use it purely as a high-capacity mana battery and fuel source now, not for reality alteration."

Elemental & Basic Magecraft

"You hold stable control over Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning, Ether, plus Curse Magecraft. You mastered Crest: Flame Resonance, Circuit Resonance Tuning, and Structural Reassembly Craft. Necromancy Magecraft remains fully accessible. Teleportation Magecraft and Spatial Teleportation (your upgraded, personal version) replaced the outdated Leyline Severance method — you can relocate yourself and objects instantly across distances with precision."

Defensive & Recovery

"Dead Apostle Regeneration (copied during that 15-million-degree crisis) lets you rewrite your soul's parameters on the fly and rapidly heal from devastating damage. You also possess full access to Avalon. Via Avalon you have access to the conceptual defense of the Everdistant Utopia. It's sitting right there in your soul if things get desperate."

High-Tier Acquisitions

- Atomic Manipulation (copied from Azravael) — precise control and understanding of matter at the atomic level.

- Soul Destruction (also from Azravael) — this is an elite, higher-dimensional ability that allows you, Master, to bypass standard lower-dimensional physical durability to strike directly at the essence of spiritual and soul-based entities recorded beyond ordinary spacetime. You can wield this capability to lethally bypass the defenses of Higher-Dimensional Lifeforms (like Servants or Divine Spirits in their material containers).

- King Solomon's Demon God Summoning Magecraft — Summoning is a magecraft that evokes spiritual bodies from the past, or possibly from the future. Spiritual Evocation usually studies the subject, but Heroic Spirit summoning and those on the same level are considered to not entirely fall under it. This ability allows you to summon multiple demons and Demon Gods and Angels all under your Command, Master.

- Golden Rule — fortune in wealth and resources flows naturally to you.

- Execution Gates (recently gained) — your permanent replacement for the Temple's conceptual dominance. Unlike ordinary magecraft casting, there is no delay between cognition and manifestation. An invisible "door" opens between our internal archive and reality itself — an interface layered across space that only you can perceive in full structure. Through it, Codex Akasha and all associated systems become directly accessible in motion, not in theory. The result is not summoning. It is selection and execution. When the gates open, from those apertures, you can draw a spell directly into your hand as if retrieving a record from a library. You can manifest rituals already prepared within the archive, deploy conceptual phenomena from blind angles, reconstruct abilities in motion, or suspend dozens of executable structures in the air awaiting activation. The result is not summoning. It is selection and execution.

- Levitation Treasure — it grants you the means of levitating high in the air. Able to casually float over one hundred meters above the sky and you can freely control it, briefly descending to the ground and then returning to the air shortly after. And because manual levitation requires precise vector control and handles completely differently than instantaneous teleportation, I integrated Age-of-Gods Barriers into the blueprint. This protects your human body from the violent friction and extreme G-forces of high-speed acceleration. When fully active, it allows you to break the sound barrier and reach hypersonic velocities up to Mach 50.

Advanced Synthesis

"Deviant Overlink allows you to strip away noise from complex data (like memories or relics) and synthesize new systems. Code Alteration gives you the power to edit magical blueprints and underlying code of magecraft or constructs. Ultimate Nubia remains one of your strongest composite spells — fusing multiple elements, plasma, and solar energy into a localized singularity that can systematically un-write targets from existence."

Sovereign Network

"Our shared creation born from playful banter and Code Alteration. It expands our partnership's potential, linking systems, knowledge, and future possibilities in elegant new ways."

Cielux placed a gentle, glowing hand on Raphael's shoulder. "That is your current arsenal, Raphael. Vast, versatile, and entirely yours. No more Temple crutches. You are a walking archive of magecraft with reflection at your core, infinite mana at your disposal — even if limited by your circuits for now — perfect mimicry, and me by your side. We will beat Roanoke together, Master. Rest a little longer. When you wake beside Sion, we'll continue refining this."

The soft, ethereal glow of the Inner World shimmered around Raphael like liquid starlight. Data streams drifted lazily through the air as he finally pushed himself up from where he had collapsed on one knee. His gaze drifted downward, and he froze.

His reflection rippled across a nearby mirrored panel of the Archive. Blue eyes—sharp and luminous—stared back at him. Strands of silver-white hair fell across a face that looked like it had been sculpted by an artist's ideal: flawless, poreless skin and refined, supermodel features. Yet his frame remained lean, almost skinny, the same slight build he had always carried.

"…Cielux," Raphael said slowly, voice laced with disbelief, "did you create a new informational body for me or something?"

Cielux floated closer, a gentle smile playing on her lips. "No, Master. I chose to actually use Self-Modification this time, so this is your new physical appearance. But don't worry—I didn't change you too much. Your current body still retains your original lung issues. Only your appearance has improved."

Raphael let out a long, weary sigh. He raised a hand to his spiritual forehead, rubbing it as if trying to stave off a headache that couldn't even exist in this realm. "You are absolutely unbelievable. You changed my appearance—which barely matters—but you kept my medical condition? What type of nonsense is this?"

With no energy left to argue, he simply flopped backward onto the floor of his Inner World, arms spread out like a defeated starfish.

Cielux's laughter rang out, bright and melodic, echoing through the reflective space. She drifted down behind him, wrapping her arms around his shoulders in a warm hug from the back. "Come on, my adorable Master~ I just want you to look good for me. After all, I am still female, so naturally I'll want my male partner to look good, you know?" Her voice took on a playful, teasing lilt as she nuzzled closer.

Raphael scoffed, staring up at the swirling constellations of data above them. Cielux… you really will be the death of me.

He didn't say it out loud. He didn't need to. In this shared Inner World, she could probably feel the resigned affection behind the thought anyway.
