"Duel Monster Spirit?"
Aigami's gaze shifted slightly, surprised for just a moment.
But it was only a fleeting moment.
After all, in his possession was the Divine Artifact known as the "Quantum Cube," with the support of all the Prana companions.
All the duelists of the Inner World knew that each Millennium Item was an ultimate tool fixed within the Dark World. The most typical example was the "Millennium Eyes" President Pegasus acquired, which transformed him from an ordinary person who knew nothing into the strongest overlord who dominated the global Underworld.
Each Millennium Item was an ultimate tool, far beyond the power of a mere Duel Monster Spirit.
Moreover, Duel Monster Spirits had limited power in the real world; they not only had restricted activity time in reality but also struggled to exert their full power without the support of a master.
Even the mighty Three Egyptian Gods were just three cards without a master to wield them. Though they could offer divine punishment, their capabilities were very limited.
Because of this, the Three Egyptian Gods were bound by the power of Orichalcos, which was supposed to be far inferior to them. That was why, in the original story, they were pathetically offered to the God of Orichalcos by Dartz, and their divine power was drained by the Evil God.
Although Aigami did not recognize Yubel, he did realize that the unconscious Judai beside him was Yubel's master.
What was there to fear from a masterless spirit?
No matter how strong she was, could she possibly be stronger than the Three Egyptian Gods?
"Just a mere spirit," Aigami sneered, "You really don't know what you're up against."
Half a minute later.
Boom!
Aigami was sent flying, soaring over the empty platform and crashing heavily into the wall behind him.
... Careless.
He wiped the bloodstain from the corner of his mouth and spat.
Yubel unfurled her pitch-black and menacing wings, walking forward slowly, her heterochromatic eyes glowing like flames that never extinguish in the darkness.
"Dare lay a hand on Judai," Yubel said solemnly, "Foolish human, you have violated the untouchable taboo!"
She clearly remembered the warning Youyu gave her before.
If she acted too arrogantly, sending too many people to the hospital as vegetative states, it would surely raise Judai's suspicions.
She knew Judai was a kind-hearted child. If he discovered Yubel was the one causing harm, he might indeed do as Youyu warned - abandon her, Yubel.
That was absolutely unacceptable!
So Yubel made up her mind to change her approach this time.
This time, she was prepared to utterly crush the opponent into dust, not even leaving ashes behind!
That way, Judai would surely not find out!
Yubel: I'm so clever.JPG.
Aigami wiped away the blood at the corner of his mouth, stood up leaning against the wall. In his cold golden pupils, Yubel's form was clearly reflected, with the Quantum Cube floating by his side as if it had come to life, the golden eye at one corner staring like the gaze of a demon.
He was indeed a bit inflated and somewhat underestimated his opponent, but that was of little consequence.
After all, the Quantum Cube was not originally a divine artifact meant for battle.
"I see, it seems you are indeed a rather special spirit." Aigami chuckled lightly, "However... you don't belong to this dimension, do you?"
"The fact that you could detect this, it seems you're also an exceptional human being."
Yubel paused, letting out a low, cold laugh.
"But that matters not, for regardless of everything, this is where you end."
"Not necessarily," Aigami replied with a smile, "You come from another world, which might make you feel special. But the truth is... this will be your greatest weakness."
"What are you saying?"
Yubel was starting to sense something amiss.
She heard voices... some murmurs, as if someone was whispering in the dark.
Then, pairs of eyes, orange-red and ghostly, began lighting up one by one around in the dark space. Various people appeared, all of different shapes, sizes, and attire, yet all sharing the same eyes, as though cast from the same mold.
This made them resemble a unified, complete entity.
Yubel was startled by the sudden appearance of so many people around her, but soon realized it wasn't the case.
It wasn't that these people appeared beside her.
It was that she had unknowingly been moved into their domain.
At some point, they had left the original space they were in. Now, they were in a pitch-black domain without any physical substance or imagery.
"We are Prana."
Aigami stepped forward from among the black shadows.
"We possess 'Super Polymerization,' an ability far beyond any ordinary life. By synchronizing our consciousness, we can banish anyone from this dimension."
He paused, smiled slightly.
"And you, an existence that doesn't truly belong to this dimension, like a shadow that never existed, a virus. You aren't recognized or accepted by anyone.
You are an isolated entity, like an island wholly cut off in this dimensional domain."
Aigami's gaze turned sharp, his voice icy.
"Expelling you from this dimension... is a piece of cake."
The Dimension Cubic hovered, emitting an eerie orange-red light and heat. It soared high into the sky, watched by all the shadows, like the sun in this space.
"Die!"
Yubel raised her palm, firing a blast of energy toward Aigami.
But it was futile. Aigami merely stood there, not even bothering to dodge. His body seemed like a holographic projection without mass, the energy blast passing through his face and disappearing mysteriously at the other end of the dimension.
"It's useless," Aigami sneered, "In essence, we aren't even in the same dimension anymore. I'm merely conversing with you in the rift between two dimensions. No matter how hard you try, you won't be able to touch me."
Yubel ignored his words. She continued trying with all her might, using every means to attack Aigami, trying to find an exit or comprehend how Aigami's power worked, to find a way to escape from this endless cage.
As Aigami said, she was an anomaly that intruded into another dimension, a virus. She had almost no intersection with this world, truly isolated.
Aigami had severed her connection to the Internet named "World," kicking her into this unknown dimension. She was like a bird caged in an infinitely large prison, unable to find an exit despite how far she flew.
In the GX Animation, Yubel possessed the power of dimensional mobility; she could warp dimensions and time at will, even achieving the feat of transporting the entire Duel Academy to Other Dimension Space.
But now she couldn't.
This was a concept that Yubel had never encountered before, a power she had never touched. Perhaps she could find a way to break it, but she needed time.
"Wander forever in this infinite dimension," Aigami sneered, making a gesture. The cube in the sky spun rapidly, releasing its power once more.
He was ready to leave, to completely depart from this dimension. Yubel would be eternally banished to the corner of this dimension until the end of time...
But he didn't succeed.
The spinning of the Dimension Cubic stopped, as if an invisible hand had gripped the cube tightly. Aigami felt as if someone had struck his body heavily, rudely ejecting him from the dimensional rift.
"What... is happening?"
Aigami landed half-kneeling in front of Yubel. He sensed another presence, a dominantly powerful existence with consciousness far surpassing ordinary human beings, barging into the dimension where they were.
Yubel's heterochromatic pupils contracted, an expression of both surprise and joy on her face.
An overwhelming pressure, endless darkness like storm clouds before a tempest, enveloped the dimension. A figure appeared in everyone's eyes, though only a child's stature, yet radiating a dignified and stern aura akin to an ancient King.
The mist in the space obscured his visage, but those golden eyes, appearing to burn, pierced through the darkness like sharp, scorching daggers, making one dares not look directly.
Aigami was wrong.
Yubel was not alone in the world, not an island completely isolated.
There was one person, from past life to present, no matter traversing time, dimension, transcending reincarnation, tightly connected to her.
His name was—
—The Supreme King!
