Fist of Fate Shock Wave!!!
The divine power of the destroyer tore through the Dark Space of the Supreme King, clashing in mid-air with Malicious Bane's deadly strike!
A blow from the Egyptian God of the Earth Dimension met head-on with "Evil Hero Malicious Bane," representing the Supreme King of the Twelfth Dimension.
The dark wave and blue destructive brilliance parted like a tide, shaking the Supreme King Castle with a violent roar, stones raining down from the towering Dark Castle like raindrops.
This punch came unexpectedly, and Malicious Bane, unprepared, was blown away, turning into a phantom and dissipating beside the Supreme King. The Supreme King was also pushed back half a step by the impact, coldly staring in the direction of the uninvited guest.
Obelisk's scarlet eyes glared viciously at this Otherworldly King, then turned into light particles and dissipated as well.
Youyu walked out slowly, standing in front of the two young duelists.
"Principal Youyu!" Ed and Manjome simultaneously showed joy.
Just now, facing the overwhelming strength of the Supreme King, they were thinking, throughout this world, perhaps only a few could defeat a strong adversary of this level.
And indeed, one of those few legendary powerhouses was now standing before them!
Ed attempted to stand, but in the aftermath of the Dark Duel, he was too exhausted. As soon as he tried to stand stable, his vision blacked out, and he half-knelt to the ground as his legs gave way.
Propping himself up with his knee and gasping for breath, he said, "Teacher Youyu, that's not Judai! It's someone else... He claims to be the 'Supreme King,' Judai seems to be sealed inside.
Only by defeating him can Judai be rescued!"
Youyu nodded, indicating he understood.
Then he surveyed the surroundings.
In theory, this should have been the academy's abandoned dormitory, but now they still stood on the dark, cold rock, with a black bridge in front of them and Prison Flame burning beneath it.
The Supreme King stood alone at the other end of the bridge, with the jagged peaks of the pitch-black castle towering behind. Purple lightning occasionally pierced through the darkness, slicing past the tower tip.
In theory, following the end of a duel, the Supreme King Castle should have also disappeared.
Since it hadn't dissipated, it meant... the Darkness Game wasn't over?
The Supreme King looked at him indifferently for a moment, then said slowly, "King Youyu, the strongest in this world. I've known for a long time that I would face you in a battle someday."
"So your wings have hardened, Judai, you're even disregarding your teacher now?"
"I am not that guy," the Supreme King said flatly, "but I possess everything of his. His experiences, his memories, his tactics..."
"But no emotions," Youyu responded.
"That's unnecessary," said the Supreme King. "A true king needs no emotions, no bonds, just the ability to continue winning.
I will defeat you along with all the strong in this world—just as I have done in other worlds.
This world will also be annexed into the territory of the Twelfth Dimension, becoming my prize!"
The gaze from his golden eyes shot toward Youyu like a sharp sword, clearly filled with a battle intent fervor.
This was something he did not have when facing Ed and Manjome earlier.
He is the Supreme King who once ruled over the Twelfth Dimension, yet he also possesses the memories of Judai in this life. And for Judai, Youyu is the duelist he admires and respects the most in his lifetime, the strongest in his mind.
Perhaps this impression and cognition influenced the Supreme King, sparking a desire in this Otherworldly King to compete with a strong adversary.
"Darkness Game, is it?" Youyu said.
"One victory, one condition," stated the Supreme King. "Originally, those two people over there had already lost, but you barged into my domain and interfered with this outcome by force.
So as a substitute, you must now complete this ritual. If you lose, all three of you shall bear the consequences."
"But if I win?"
"Then it proves your strength surpasses mine, and dying at your hand would be only justified."
The Supreme King's tone was calm, as if narrating a self-evident game rule, as if it wasn't his own life involved.
"Your students, of course, will also be returned."
"Alright."
Youyu activated the Duel Disc, and the Card Deck quickly shuffled in the slot.
"I accept this duel."
"Duel!" x2
[Supreme King, LP 4000]
[Youyu, LP 4000]
"I'll take the first turn, draw."
"Summon 'Magician's Rod'!"
Appearing was a figure resembling the image of a Black Magician, except the shadow under the robe was blue and transparent, looking like an energy body constructed by magic power.
[Magician's Rod, ATK 1600]
"When Magician's Rod is successfully summoned, add one 'Black Magic' Magic or Trap Card from the deck to your hand."
Youyu drew a card from the deck.
"Add Continuous Magic 'Dark Magical Circle' to hand."
With a flourish, golden particles transformed into a Magic Card in front of Youyu.
"Continuous Magic 'Dark Magical Circle,'" Youyu announced, "when activated, look at the top three cards from the deck, add one 'Black Magician' or related Magic/Trap card to the hand, and rearrange the rest in any order back on top."
Youyu drew a card, briefly displaying it: "Adding Quick-Play Magic 'Illusion Magic' to hand."
He then adjusted the order of the other two cards and returned them to the deck.
"Activate Quick-Play Magic 'Illusion Magic'!" Youyu said, "Sacrifice 'Magician's Rod' of the Spellcaster-Type on the field, and add up to two 'Black Magician' from the deck to the hand."
"Then set a card onto the field, ending the turn."
Manjome and Ed were a bit surprised.
Thus, Principal Youyu had no monsters on his side of the field?
With only a Set Card to greet the opponent's turn... was this really okay?
"My turn, draw."
The Supreme King glanced at the drawn card, revealing it straight away without adding it to his hand.
"Magic Card 'Graceful Charity,' draw three cards from the deck, then discard two cards from the hand."
After switching out two cards, he immediately placed down a Monster Card.
"Elemental Hero Bubbleman, summon."
[Elemental Hero Bubbleman, ATK 800]
"Bubbleman's effect," the Supreme King said, "when successfully summoned, if there are no other cards on my field, draw two cards from the deck.
Next, activate Magic Card 'Dark Fusion'! Dark Fusion in hand 'Elemental Hero Featherman,' 'Elemental Hero Burstinatrix'—
——Evil Hero Inferno Wing, summon!"
The fallen version of the model couple fused into a vortex, two lights shooting into the endless Hell fire below the bridge. A storm of flames reached the bridge, crashing down and taking form of the Evil Hero with black wings.
[Evil Hero Inferno Wing, ATK 2100]
"Equip Magic 'Vicious Claw,'" said the Supreme King, "Equip to 'Evil Hero Inferno Wing,' increasing attack power by 300."
[Evil Hero Inferno Wing, ATK 2100 → ATK 2400]
"Battle." The Supreme King paid no heed to Youyu's backfield, "Evil Hero Inferno Wing, direct attack!"
