"Lightning Flash!"
Boom!
In this world of flames, a sudden clap of thunder exploded, followed by a dazzling flash of lightning that tore through the fire, splitting the incoming tidal wave in two and charging towards Yamato with a momentum that seemed to cut through everything.
Yamato looked at the approaching Kakashi with surprise. He had thought Kakashi's speed was already fast enough, but it turned out that Kakashi hadn't used his full strength in the previous battle.
Thinking of this, Yamato no longer held back, and many tall trees rapidly grew in front of him, while the unscathed trees from the sea of fire did their utmost to obstruct Kakashi.
Swish!
Crash!!
A flash of lightning swept past, and the giant trees collapsed, yet Kakashi continued to advance.
Yamato remained unfazed as he continued to pour out chakra.
Countless attacking branches and vines were slashed apart by Kakashi, but his body grew increasingly weary.
When he was only ten meters away from Yamato, Kakashi's sprinting speed began to slow down.
At just five meters from Yamato, Kakashi finally reached his limit, unable to slash through the trees, and his body was ensnared by thick branches.
Seeing Kakashi come to a stop, Yamato sighed with relief; this battle was more challenging than he had imagined.
The youthful version of Kakashi fought completely differently from the Kakashi he remembered, and his strength was beyond expectations. Obito's Fire Release was also intimidating, with the final Fire Dragon Flame Bomb surpassing the fire jutsus of many Jonin.
Looking at the exhausted Kakashi bound by branches, Yamato, emboldened, gave Kakashi's head a playful hit.
After the hit, Yamato instantly felt refreshed and invigorated.
Kakashi looked at Yamato with a puzzled expression. The strike had no real purpose; with or without it, he was still powerless, and hitting him wouldn't knock him out.
"Sorry, I couldn't help myself when I saw your face," Yamato said apologetically.
Kakashi: ...
If in the future, he saw someone who looked just like Yamato and also named Yamato, he wouldn't hesitate to punch them in the head, justifying it as being unable to resist the resemblance.
"Why did you give up on the Lightning Release Blade Technique, Kakashi-senpai?" Yamato pondered aloud, baffled.
He thought Kakashi was doing well now, and if he continued down this path, he might become even stronger.
After all, this Kakashi was nearly a Jonin-level combatant before reaching ten years old. With another seventeen years of cultivation, becoming Hokage-level wasn't impossible.
However, the youthful version of Kakashi obviously couldn't answer Yamato's question; only the future Kakashi could. Yamato kept his curiosity to himself and continued training.
With Kakashi completely losing his combat capability, finishing off Obito and Nohara Rin was easy for Yamato, and the training session quickly concluded.
After the battle was the review session, where Mokgetsu addressed everyone's issues and offered guidance.
After resting, they moved to another place for training. Yamato's Wood Release combined with Obito's Fire Release left the area in chaos.
The battle between Uzumaki Naruto and Kakashi was much simpler.
Uzumaki Naruto didn't hold back and used Multiple Shadow Clones and Rasengan to overwhelm Kakashi and others with sheer strength.
During the battle, Uzumaki Naruto, as he desired, knocked Kakashi on the head.
Although he initially didn't want to laugh, considering this was his future sensei, the temptation was just too strong.
Training ended, and Kakashi's face darkened. He finally understood the bad premonition he felt earlier.
If history repeated and he became Uzumaki Naruto's sensei again, he would definitely make Naruto understand what true love from a teacher meant.
"Naruto-bro, is that all you know?" Obito couldn't help but tease after the training.
He envied Uzumaki Naruto's chakra. Shadow Clones seemed to require no chakra, and if he had Naruto's amount of chakra, he could use the Breath of Flame Chakra Mode as Full Concentration Breathing.
"Of course not, don't underestimate me," Uzumaki Naruto shook his head, dismissing the idea.
There was no way he only knew Multiple Shadow Clones and Rasengan; he also mastered the Seduction Jutsu, Harem Jutsu, and Rasen Shuriken.
"Sometimes continuously developing a useful technique is a great choice," Mokgetsu thoughtfully said.
Even though Uzumaki Naruto relied on Multiple Shadow Clones and Rasengan in battle, it didn't stop him from being strong.
"Naruto-bro's Rasengan is indeed useful," Obito had to admit the jutsu was powerful, requiring no hand seals and having immense power.
"Obito, if you want to learn, I can teach you," Uzumaki Naruto generously offered.
He felt a bond with Obito and saw no harm in sharing his ninjutsu knowledge.
If Obito learned Rasengan and improved his strength, it would count as Uzumaki Naruto contributing to changing Kakashi and the others' future.
"Naruto-bro, I want to learn!" Obito immediately felt he made the right choice in recognizing him as an older brother.
Mokgetsu's expression turned subtle; learning Rasengan from Naruto was akin to developing it oneself.
Nevertheless, Mokgetsu didn't discourage Obito's enthusiasm; after all, he also knew Rasengan and could teach it if Obito truly wished to learn.
Having failed twice in a row, Kakashi's group resumed their night training with renewed determination, while Mokgetsu began instructing Uzumaki Naruto and Yamato on their cultivation.
Uzumaki Naruto, now adept in Shadow Clones and Rasengan, needed no guidance from Mokgetsu, so Mokgetsu decided to teach him Taijutsu instead.
