"Rin, do you know how strong Granny Tsunade really is?" Obito asked Nohara Rin for some intel.
Since Obito called Uzumaki Naruto "big bro", he subconsciously used the same title for Tsunade, ignoring Naruto's time travel issue.
"She could probably knock you out with one punch, Obito, so it's best not to call Lady Tsunade 'Granny'," Nohara Rin cautioned out of concern for Obito's safety.
As Mokgetsu prepared a late-night meal for six people, namely the six ninjas who had just finished their training, it took quite a bit of time. During this period, Naruto, Yamato, and Kakashi continued chatting to get to know each other better.
Obito only then learned that Naruto was a complete loser during Ninja Academy times, both in theory and ninjutsu.
"No wonder you seem so familiar, you remind me a lot of Guy," Obito exclaimed, feeling as though he had made a revelation.
Kakashi's mouth twitched; someone truly didn't know themselves well.
Upon hearing Kakashi and the others recount their mission experiences, Yamato was silently amazed at how Kakashi managed to survive. Ordinary C-Class Missions, which typically wouldn't confront ninjas, always ended with them encountering all kinds of ranked ninjas, and even unexpected events during the Chunin Examination.
"Wow, what a feast, with so many dishes I've never seen before." Naruto's eyes widened as he looked at the dishes emanating tempting aromas being brought from the kitchen, much more luxurious than he had imagined.
Considering Naruto and Yamato hadn't tasted his cooking before, half were local dishes familiar within the Ninja World, ensuring they wouldn't be staring at a table full of unfamiliar foods.
Many ingredients were stored by Mokgetsu in his scroll, for Loulan might not have them available.
In the face of such a lavish late-night meal, everyone solemnly said "Let's eat" before starting their feast.
Naruto picked up a piece of tempura and popped it into his mouth. As his teeth pierced the crispy fried coating, the succulent shrimp inside made Naruto's eyes widen. He had never expected such a simple piece of tempura could taste so unbelievably good.
Then, to Naruto's surprise, he felt a momentary daze, and when he opened his eyes again, he found himself in a mysterious and magnificent blue world, surrounded by countless fish and shrimp.
Naruto tried to reach out and touch them, only to find he had a claw — he had transformed into a shrimp. Forgetting all his worries, Naruto swam blissfully through the ocean.
When he came to his senses, Naruto once again found himself sitting at the dining table, with the ocean and sea creatures nowhere in sight.
"Mokgetsu, amazing!" Naruto gave Mokgetsu a thumbs up, unable to think of a better way to describe it.
Naruto recalled Obito's mention of seeing forests, oceans, and volcanoes when eating Mokgetsu's cooking, realizing those descriptions were quite literal.
Yamato also looked at Mokgetsu in shock after taking a bite, at one point thinking he had fallen under a Genjutsu.
Obito's exaggerated descriptions were all true, which genuinely amazed Yamato.
"Eat up before it's gone," Mokgetsu reminded them.
Yamato and Naruto then realized how exaggerated Obito and the others were eating, their chopsticks moving with afterimages.
Seeing the dishes rapidly diminishing, Naruto and Yamato quickly joined the fray.
"This was the best late-night snack I've ever had," Naruto said contentedly after finishing, still wishing for more.
He felt like he hadn't done his best; if given another chance, he could surely eat more.
"You've really gone out of your way for us, Mokgetsu-senpai," Yamato expressed his gratitude, feeling lucky to have met Mokgetsu.
From helping them complete missions to teaching them powerful secret techniques and now personally cooking such delicious food for them.
Mokgetsu smiled without saying a word; for him, all of this was just a simple task.
The next day.
As Mokgetsu adjusted the training schedule, Naruto and the others began their cultivation first thing in the morning.
Mokgetsu also officially started his lessons.
"We won't be practicing Taijutsu today; I'll teach you the Breath of Yang," Mokgetsu announced before starting his lesson.
"This will be difficult, so try to focus, Naruto."
The rewards of teaching weren't just about the lesson itself but also about whether the students learned.
Since the Breath of Yang was an underdevelopment secret technique, Mokgetsu especially stressed its difficulty.
"I'll study hard," Naruto nodded earnestly.
He needed strength to defeat the Akatsuki and bring Sasuke back, and he took his training seriously.
Plus, with Mokgetsu being so good to him, Naruto intended to train even more diligently, not wanting to disappoint him.
"Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Naruto quickly performed the hand signs, unleashing his chakra to create dozens of shadow clones.
He knew he wasn't a genius in terms of learning, so if one brain wasn't enough, he would use dozens to think together.
"Before learning the Breath of Yang, you need to understand two concepts: Yang Chakra Nature Change and Breathing," Mokgetsu began his lecture.
Knowing Naruto's foundation was fairly basic, he started from the fundamentals, first introducing Yang Attribute Chakra.
Each of the dozens of Naruto clones focused intensely on the lesson. He truly didn't understand much about the Yang Attribute, having only heard Yamato mention it once in relation to Wind Attribute Chakra Nature Changes.
About forty minutes into the lecture, Mokgetsu paused to give Naruto some time to digest the information.
