Chapter 640 - Chapter 343: The Golden Horizon That Shocked the Hidden Mist

Without needing any words, Obito understood Kakashi's intentions just from his gaze.

"Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Obito immediately gathered Chakra in his throat, quickly formed the seals, and spewed out a large ball of flame towards Kurosuki Raiga, who was closest to them.

Due to the abilities of his ninja blade, Kurosuki Raiga focused more effort on Lightning Release, but as a Hidden Mist Jonin, he also had a decent mastery of Water Release.

Facing the incoming fireball, Kurosuki Raiga did not dodge or evade, instead spewing out a stream of water to counteract Obito's Great Fireball.

Swish swish swish!!

After Obito released the Great Fireball, Shisui took advantage of the visual obstruction created by the fireball to swiftly throw several fire-coated shurikens towards Kurosuki Raiga.

Kakashi, who had been gathering strength all this time, gripped the White Fang Short Blade, converting all the Chakra in his legs into Lightning Attribute Chakra to activate his cells and enhance his power, ready to unleash a Thunderous Strike the instant Kurosuki Raiga showed a moment of weakness.

Due to the disparity in reputation and strength between the two sides, the Seven-Swords Ninja did not regard them as real opponents. Kakashi hoped to seize this opportunity to focus and eliminate one of them, making the upcoming battle much easier.

"Water Release: Water Dragon Bomb Jutsu!"

Biwa Juzo formed seals and released a water dragon that spiraled around Kurosuki Raiga, blocking all the fiery shurikens Shisui had thrown, and continued its charge towards Kakashi and the others.

Kakashi sighed inwardly; though they weren't regarded as opponents, after all, they were facing the notorious Seven-Swords Ninja of the Ninja World, and their little ploy had been seen through.

In the next moment, Suikazan Fuguki, Jinin Akebino, Kuriarare Kushimaru, and Kurosuki Raiga drew their blades together and charged forward, intending to swiftly end the battle.

"Eight Gates, First Gate, Opening Gate, open! Second... Fourth Gate, Injure Gate, open!" With a furious roar, Might Guy opened the fourth gate of the Eight Gates and concentrated his breath to the extreme.

Currently, Might Guy could steadily open the Fifth Gate, but opening the Fifth Gate would not allow for prolonged battle. In friendly sparring within the team, it didn't matter, but in real combat, he couldn't recklessly lay all his cards on the table.

"Leaf Great Whirlwind!"

Might Guy unleashed his full strength, flashing with extreme speed to approach Jinin Akebino, who was the closest, and kicked out a Tornado Kick.

"Pretty fast, but you picked the wrong opponent." Jinin Akebino protected himself with an iron hammer to block Might Guy's powerful kick, and with the blade in his left hand, slashed towards Might Guy.

He was the strongest iron-arm among the Seven-Swords Ninja; the idea that Might Guy could take him on with Taijutsu was simply ridiculous.

But Jinin Akebino underestimated Might Guy's control over his body and combat experience.

Facing the incoming giant blunt sword, Might Guy adjusted his body to its extreme to dodge the slash and smashed his Chakra-filled hand blade onto Jinin Akebino's iron hammer.

"Leaf Hand Blade!"

Bang!!

The immense force caused Jinin Akebino to stagger back repeatedly, his hand holding the hammer slightly numbed from the shock.

Jinin Akebino looked at Might Guy, his face showing a hint of surprise.

This was a hard ninja blade forged from various rare materials, and for Might Guy to hit it with his palm, the counterforce alone should have been enough to cause an ordinary person to fracture, yet Might Guy seemed completely unfazed.

"Are his hands made of iron?" The thought subconsciously arose in Jinin Akebino's mind.

The resilience of Might Guy's body was quite abnormal.

Of course, Jinin Akebino was unaware that Might Guy's mastery of the Breath of Rock was already quite proficient, allowing him, under heavy focus, to greatly enhance his body's defense, not something that could be measured by normal human standards.

"Even if your body were made of iron, I could still cut you to pieces!" After a brief moment of surprise, Jinin Akebino regained his composure.

Regardless of iron being a metaphor, even a literal iron man would be chopped into iron pieces by his Bluntsword·Kabutowari.

"One Flash!"

Although Kakashi didn't see a killable flaw in Kurosuki Raiga, the arrow was on the string, and it had to be released; the gathered strength could not be wasted. He didn't have much Chakra to spare.

Swish!

With the Breath of Thunder exploding, Kakashi moved like a lightning bolt towards Kurosuki Raiga.

"Lighting Release: Thunder Fang!"

Before Kakashi could close in, Kurosuki Raiga swung his two Lighting Blades, generating a mass of lightning that shot outward, forcing Kakashi to abruptly brake.

His Chakra wasn't abundant enough to cover his entire body with Armament for defense.

Whoosh!

After halting Kakashi, Kurosuki Raiga immediately used Instant Body Jutsu to rush at Kakashi, wielding his two Long Thunder Blades with incredible nimbleness, like serpentine bolts of lightning.

Facing a famed member of the Ninja World's elite squad, Kakashi dared not be careless and promptly activated the Transparent World, causing the world in his mind to shift.

Entering the Transparent World state, Kakashi could clearly perceive Kurosuki Raiga's speed suddenly seem to slow down.

Of course, understanding the Transparent World's effect, Kakashi knew it wasn't that Kurosuki Raiga had slowed, but that his own perception had enhanced, making him faster.

Clang!

Kakashi easily parried Kurosuki Raiga's sweeping Thunder Blade.

Kurosuki Raiga maintained a blank expression as he continued to slash, but Kakashi perfectly blocked each one, despite holding a short blade, Kurosuki Raiga couldn't breach Kakashi's defense.

Each of Kakashi's deflections was perfect, not exerting an ounce more effort than necessary, nor allowing Kurosuki Raiga to graze his clothing.

Kurosuki Raiga frowned slightly. His swordsmanship, though not top-tier in the Hidden Mist, was quite proficient; he was being suppressed by a ten-year-old child.
