The Wonder Gate is the last gate before the Death Gate; while it doesn't have the colossal cost of the Death Gate, it does have terrifying side effects. Opening the Wonder Gate causes severe damage to the body, and even a light touch after deactivation brings unbearable pain.
Might Duy chooses to believe in his son. If he had a choice, Might Duy certainly wouldn't want to die; he still wants to see Might Guy gradually become the strongest Taijutsu user.

After taking down the Hidden Mist Jonin, Suikazan Fuguki decides to go after Obito, while Biwa Juzo joins the battle on Might Guy's side.
Since Might Guy hasn't used any Ninjutsu from the start, Suikazan Fuguki feels that his Shark Skin can't play a significant role, so he exchanges opponents with Biwa Juzo. As the advantageous side, they can easily do this.
The gigantic blade of the Decapitating Carving Knife doesn't feel cumbersome in Biwa Juzo's hands; he can always precisely chop at Might Guy's vulnerable areas. Coupled with the pincer attack from Aohire Karei and Kuriarare Kushimaru, Might Guy is under a lot of pressure.

Suikazan Fuguki's face darkens; he retreats to create distance, forming seals to launch Water Release at Obito.
The Shark Skin is the only Ninja Blade among the seven with self-awareness. If Suikazan Fuguki insists on using it to block the flames, once may be okay, but doing it multiple times could result in the Shark Skin throwing tantrums and not working properly.
In severe cases, the Shark Skin might even refuse to recognize him, as it's a picky Ninja Blade.
