Minazuki Kan indeed deserves caution. Just from the stats panel, only Mokgetsu and Orochimaru among the Konoha Ninjas on the East Coast Battlefield can comfortably suppress Minazuki Kan.
With over three thousand proficiency in Ice Release combined with not low proficiency in Wind and Water Nature Changes and a series of master-level Ninjutsu, Minazuki Kan is one of the stronger ones among the many ninjas Mokgetsu has encountered.
Mokgetsu unceremoniously used Transformation to record Minazuki Kan's information. Over three thousand proficiency in master-level Ice Release is worth copying.
Mokgetsu's own Ice Release is currently just over a thousand proficiency at a Proficient level, still some distance from Master Level.

Despite facing strong enemies and with his chakra and stamina almost depleted, Obito remained unfazed. With Mokgetsu present, there was no cause for concern.
"Is that so? Confidence is a good thing, but it requires matching strength." Mokgetsu adjusted his black-frame glasses and responded with a smile.
Minazuki Kan's strength is indeed commendable, but he chose the wrong opponent. Among the entire East Coast Konoha Ninja Squad, only two people can solo defeat Minazuki Kan, and he happened to encounter one of them.
"While that's not incorrect, I happen to have enough strength." Minazuki Kan displayed a confident smile.
"You all need not intervene. Let me handle him solo." Minazuki Kan said to Kurosuki Raiga and the others.
Rarely encountering an Ice Release ninja from an opposing village, Minazuki Kan wanted to test the other's strength.
Munashi Jinpachi found it puzzling; he thought Minazuki Kan's thinking was flawed. What ninja plays at duels—this is a war. Just kill the opponent by any means necessary.
But since Minazuki Kan had just saved him, Munashi Jinpachi didn't say much.

Mokgetsu calmly pulled two Flying Thunder God Kunai from his Ninja Pouch and tossed them toward Kurosuki Raiga and the others, then used Instant Body Jutsu to charge at Minazuki Kan just as the ice spikes were about to hit his body.
BOOM!!
The massive ice spikes crashed into the ground, creating craters and producing a loud noise.
