In the first semester of the fourth grade, Hyuga Kamon's Gentle Fist caused Obito quite a bit of trouble, so he would not underestimate the Gentle Fist of the Hyuga Clan.

He was still wondering why there wasn't a break between assessments. Otherwise, if an examiner encountered someone like Might Guy, then the next person to be assessed after Might Guy could practically win by default.
"Doesn't seem that strong." After watching Sakata Genji's battle for a while, Obito had this thought.
He wasn't specifically referring to Sakata Genji being assessed, but thought both the examiner and candidates seemed fairly average in strength.
Obito was not familiar with the Gentle Fist and couldn't quite understand it, but he was very familiar with the Fire Release technique the Jonin examiner used, which wasn't as potent as his own.
"The battle is over, a twenty-minute break follows." Fifteen minutes later, the examining Jonin promptly announced.
Due to the war, there weren't many Jonin left inside Konoha Village, most had their own defense duties, so there were only three Jonin in the entire assessment, with the referees being Special Jonin, not qualified to serve as combat examiners, requiring the combat examiners to rotate.
"Kakashi, don't you also think the examiner's strength isn't all that formidable?" A bored Obito whispered to Kakashi.
Kakashi gave Obito a slight glance, "Who do you mean, the Clan Leader Hyuga or Jonin Mimura?"
Obito was amazed, as it sounded like Kakashi knew both of these people.
"How do you know them?" Obito couldn't help but ask, curious about where Kakashi got his information.
Ignoring those famous ones in the past, Hyuga Hiashi and Mimura Hamaki were not strong beings like Pakura and Minazuki Kan.
"I wonder how you don't know. The Byakugan is renowned alongside the Sharingan, and Mimura Hamaki is also a Jonin with a bit of fame in Konoha, having been featured in the Konoha Newspaper before." Kakashi replied with a face full of bemusement.
He wasn't Information Kakashi, but Obito really was Kenji.
For Jonin from other villages, Kakashi usually only knew the prominent ones, such as Hidden Sand Hero Pakura and the Seven-Swords Ninja of the Hidden Mist.
He knew a lot more about Jonin from his own village, as after all, there weren't that many Jonin in a Ninja Village; set the scope to Official Jonin and there were even fewer.
Obito smiled sheepishly, finding it hard to muster interest in reading the paper if nothing related to him was reported, it was just too boring.
"I'm talking about that Mimura Hamaki, his Fire Release seems weaker than mine." Obito continued the previous topic.
Even though Obito didn't know anyone, there were only two combat examiners in total, and since one had the Byakugan, using the process of elimination, Obito deduced that the Jonin using Fire Release was the Mimura Jonin referred to by Kakashi.
"Two reasons, firstly, Jonin Mimura was fighting with assessment as the goal, not using his full strength." Kakashi explained.
"Secondly, surely you don't think your Fire Release is weak?"
Although Obito often lost miserably in internal conflicts, this didn't mean his Fire Release was weak, it was just that others had a stronger overall ability.
Kakashi believed that with the boost from the Breath of Flame Chakra Mode, there were very few in Konoha who could surpass Obito in Fire Release.

"I already knew that, which is why I'm very grateful to Teacher Mokgetsu." Obito admitted generously.
Before Mokgetsu's appearance, he was the last in the Uchiha ranking, but after becoming Mokgetsu's disciple, he gradually became the Uchiha genius he is today.
"Besides, your Fire Release is strong, but your brain holds it back, otherwise your overall strength could be even stronger, not losing so often." Thinking it wasn't enough, Kakashi continued with another sharp comment.
Kakashi understood Obito too well, mentioning Obito's lack of Ninja talent would just make him smile it off, but questioning his intelligence would truly provoke him.

Kakashi's recent comment was too harsh, not only mocking his intelligence but also reminding Obito of his memories of losing internal tests and doing papers, truly adding insult to injury.
"Break's over, Hatake Kakashi, get ready to battle." The referee Jonin announced Kakashi's name.
Kakashi quickly stepped forward to the combat point as Hyuga Hiashi from the examiner team also stepped forward.
"I wonder how the Transparent World compares to the Byakugan." Watching Hyuga Hiashi's pure white eyes, Kakashi thought to himself.
The Byakugan can see through things, and so can the Transparent World, but both have additional unique effects, only some abilities are similar.
Hyuga Aoba and Sakata Genji quickly focused their attention on the battlefield, curious about the performance of this little White Fang, Kakashi.
"Begin the battle!"
Hearing the referee Jonin's call, Kakashi immediately concentrated his breath and entered the state of the Transparent World.
Actually, the Jonin assessment rules are somewhat unfavorable to them, because they excel at fast-paced combat, using strong bursts to take the enemy by surprise and resolve conflicts, fifteen minutes feels a bit long for them.
But Kakashi was well aware this was a simulation of actual combat, he did not need to consider the quickest and most efficient elimination of the opponent, but rather display all his excellence.
Kakashi's consumption differs from Obito's, as Obito's is due to the Chakra Mode of Breath of Flame quickly exhausting Chakra, while Kakashi's stems from the activation of the body with Lightning Attribute Chakra, requiring a lot of Chakra, not the Transparent World.
If Kakashi used the extreme Thunder Flash Divine Speed, his Chakra would still be enough.
