Chapter 784 - Chapter 406: Unleashing Potential

It would make sense if the Box of Bliss could enhance a ninja's power, Yokokawa Tsutomu would believe that, but saying it can grant all wishes is just nonsense.

Yokokawa Tsutomu thinks the reason for such rumors is likely because the Box of Bliss enhanced their power, so the people who opened the box used that power to fulfill their own wishes, which led to the saying that it can grant wishes.

Impermanence looked at Yokokawa Tsutomu in confusion, as many within the Grass Seed believe in the legend of the Box of Bliss.

Yokokawa Tsutomu originally pushed for cooperation with Hidden Rock to intensify the war between Hidden Rock and Konoha, letting more ninjas die in order to provide nutrients to open the Box of Bliss.

Impermanence was a bit confused, since Yokokawa Tsutomu didn't believe in the legend of the Box of Bliss, why would he still get involved in the war between Konoha and Hidden Rock.

"Wishes like immortality are definitely hard to achieve, but becoming stronger, such a small wish, I believe it has no problem granting." Yokokawa Tsutomu smiled, patting Impermanence on the shoulder.

Originally, he didn't have much thought about the Box of Bliss, but the emergence of Ninja Master Sosuke made Yokokawa Tsutomu change his mind.

Sosuke rebuilt the Ninja Sect relying on its inheritance, overshadowing Half-God Hanzo, suddenly becoming a top powerhouse that shook the Ninja World.

The Box of Bliss, after all, was a ninja tool created by the founder of the Ninja Sect, the Six Paths Sage, it can't be much worse than that so-called ninja sect inheritance, right?

Yokokawa Tsutomu was gambling, he didn't expect the Box of Bliss could truly grant wishes and let Grass Ninja directly rule the world.

As long as the Box of Bliss can give him the strength to surpass Sosuke, then Grass Ninja has the foundation to rise.

...

Sunday.

Konoha Village, Southern Border Forest.

"Good morning, Senior Kakashi." Yamato saw Kakashi walking towards him and slightly raised his right hand to greet him.

Kakashi looked at Yamato with a stern face, "Trying to be a ninja with such a soft voice, speak up!"

Seeing Kakashi so stern, Yamato instinctively followed Kakashi's order and shouted loudly, "Senior Kakashi! Good morning!"

"Also, I like juniors who use their left hand to greet." Kakashi scrutinized Yamato for a moment before saying seriously.

Yamato: ...

Senior Kakashi, so strict.

Even Shimura Danzo didn't care whether he used his left or right hand to greet.

"Good morning, give it your all for the new day." Kakashi stopped appropriately, encouraging Yamato before starting his training.

Yamato breathed a sigh of relief and began adopting various breathing poses to practice basic breathing.

About ten minutes later, all the students were present.

Worried that Feebas would be lonely at home, Nohara Rin, upon arriving, immediately summoned Feebas into the small river in the Southern Border Forest.

Under Mokgetsu's guidance, Nohara Rin did not make Feebas train like Rockruff and Riolu, but instead carefully tended to it, helping care for its body and praising Feebas to keep its confidence up.

"Shisui, how did you teach Zorua ninjutsu?" Unable to teach Fire Release, Obito sought out Shisui, who had hatched a ninja beast earlier.

Logically, Kakashi, who should have had the most experience, hatched the earliest, but thinking about Kakashi's face made Obito uncomfortable, so he decisively sought out his clan brother.

"I didn't teach it ninjutsu." Shisui shook his head in response.

Obito scratched his head.

"I think when they're newly born, it's better to first train their innate abilities, like Zorua's Genjutsu." Shisui suggested.

Firstly, Shisui felt that newly hatched ninja beasts had too many things they didn't understand, and secondly, he believed their inherent abilities had great potential and needed to be explored.

After a serious study of Zorua's Genjutsu, Shisui found that Zorua's innate Genjutsu ability was very interesting.

The essence of Genjutsu is to use chakra to disrupt the opponent's five senses, causing them to fall into illusion.

Based on the essence of Genjutsu, it can be used in various ways, such as using what's seen with the eyes to induce a visual illusion, or making someone hear something to trap them in an auditory illusion.

Most of the Genjutsu Shisui mastered were visual ones, capable of stronger effects when used with the Sharingan.

Shisui considered Zorua's Genjutsu also to be visual, but unlike the ordinary type, Zorua's illusion stood out because it targeted its own body; once someone saw its body post-illusion, they'd be instantly caught in Zorua's spell.

Though Zorua's Genjutsu was relatively easy to break, the condition for it was too easily met, making Shisui believe it would be quite useful in chaotic battles.

"I'll give it a try." Obito decided to initially train himself, saving the journey of strengthening Charmander for break time.

"Indeed, it must be fire. Since Kakashi's dog can control the stones on its neck for attacks, maybe Charmander can use its tail flame to strike!"

A flash of inspiration struck Obito's mind, and he promptly instructed Charmander to try.

Charmander tried scratching its head but found its arm was too short, so it just scratched its face before staring intently at Obito.

No matter how much Obito emphasized, using the flame on its tail to attack was something it couldn't do right now.

"Charmander, Charmander!"

Charmander waved its arms, trying to explain its difficulty to Obito.

Obito scratched his head, puzzled over why Charmander suddenly started gesturing so exaggeratedly.

"Are you saying you want to learn dancing?" Obito stroked his chin, trying to deduce.

In a hurry, Charmander pointed to its tail with its short arms and waved them frantically.

"Tail, do away with it?" Obito interpreted Charmander's actions.

Bang.

Charmander collapsed to the ground, fainted from frustration at its dense contract partner.

"Shisui, can I borrow your Zorua?"

Finding communication with the beast difficult, Obito had no choice but to fetch a translator.

"Charmander, Charmander," Charmander continued saying the flame on its tail couldn't be used for attacks.

"I see." Zorua nodded in understanding after hearing.

"What did it say?" Obito curiously asked Zorua.

"It said it won't use its tail flame to attack and wants you to buy tasty treats for the great Zorua." Zorua translated with a face of innocence.

"Shisui, here's your red-haired fox back." Obito grabbed Zorua by the scruff and carried it back to Shisui.

As if he would be tricked, buying treats was clearly Zorua's personal desire.

Obito continued to delve into Charmander's abilities. Just as he began doubting Charmander's skill with the fire attribute, Charmander opened its mouth and spewed a small flame.

Ecstatic, Obito seemed to glimpse a future where his ninja beast ravaged the red-haired fox and burned the white-haired dog.

Watching as the students all played with their summoning beasts during break time, envy shone in Yamato's eyes. If only he had a ninja beast like that, living alone would be more interesting.

When he noticed Mokgetsu looking his way, Yamato quickly adjusted his expression.

Despite wanting a summoning beast, Yamato didn't want to trouble Mokgetsu, who already took great care of him.

"How about joining me for dinner?" After the training ended, Kakashi noticed Yamato's lonely figure and asked proactively.

"That wouldn't be appropriate, Senior Kakashi, don't you need to go home?" Yamato felt both flattered and surprised.

"I'm the only one at home, so it doesn't matter when I return." Kakashi answered calmly.

Yamato was somewhat surprised, having not expected Kakashi to also be an orphan like himself without parents.

Perhaps due to their similar backgrounds, Yamato inexplicably agreed to Kakashi's offer.

"However, since it's our first meal together, shouldn't you, as a junior, offer something?" Kakashi hinted.

Yamato instinctively touched his thin wallet.

With no parents and not having done missions yet, he only had a little allowance from the Root.

"I'll treat you, Senior," Yamato said painfully.

If not for thinking his recent comment may have hurt Kakashi, Yamato would likely refuse the meal and leave.

Now, Yamato just hoped Kakashi would choose an affordable place, otherwise, he wouldn't have money left for food.

But to Yamato's slight despair, Kakashi didn't go to an inexpensive ramen shop, but a decently decorated restaurant.

When it was time to settle the bill, Yamato's hand shook as he pulled out his wallet, his heart shedding imaginary tears.

"Just kidding, the senior treats for the first meal." Kakashi pulled out several bills and handed them to the cashier.

Gazing at Kakashi's calm demeanor, Yamato stood dumbfounded, suddenly finding even Kakashi's mask exuding refinement.
