Chapter 782 - Chapter 405: Sparks of Inspiration for the Breath of Sun

"Is that the arrangement of Blazing Sun Mokgetsu? I almost forgot you're still his student. In that case, you should continue following his steps." Uchiha Katsu nodded and said.

Mokgetsu is currently a hot rising star in Konoha; following him, Shisui will definitely perform better than in the Police Department, with even higher potential.

Next, the two talked about some other not-so-important things, and Uchiha Katsu felt it was about time to say goodbye to Shisui.

...

Saturday, afternoon.

Konoha training ground, Mokgetsu was still teaching the Breath of Darkness and Dark Burning Jutsu.

As an advanced ability of Breath of Darkness, Dark Burning Jutsu is significantly more challenging to master.

Even with Mokgetsu's teaching skills, the Anbu are progressing slowly; Mokgetsu estimated that even the fastest learner would take about four months to complete the training.

At three o'clock, Sarutobi Masanari suddenly arrived at the training ground.

"Mokgetsu Squad Leader, you carry on with your teaching, I'm just here to have a casual look," Sarutobi Masanari said with a cheerful smile upon noticing Mokgetsu's gaze.

Mokgetsu nodded and cast an Identification Jutsu on Sarutobi Masanari; the last time they met, it was a clone, and he couldn't identify.

[Name: Sarutobi Masanari]

[Chakra: 38000]

[Skills: Fire Attribute Chakra Nature Changes (Master Level: 2800/15000), Wind Attribute Chakra Nature Changes (Master Level)...]

Although he's the son of Sarutobi Hiruzen, Sarutobi Masanari didn't seem to inherit Sarutobi Hiruzen's Ninjutsu talent; he only mastered three types of Chakra Nature Transformations, and while all are at the master level, only the Wind and Fire attributes have decent proficiency.

Of course, comparing Sarutobi Masanari to Sarutobi Hiruzen is unfair, but compared to other Jonin, Sarutobi Masanari is already considered elite.

Mokgetsu estimated that if he doesn't die, after another ten or twenty years of cultivation, he could become a somewhat ordinary Kage Level.

At this moment, Mokgetsu's Shadow Clone and main body were teaching separately; the main body was teaching the Breath of Darkness, while the clone was teaching the Dark Burning Jutsu.

Sarutobi Masanari listened to the Dark Burning Jutsu for a while, found that he couldn't understand it midway, and went to the Breath of Darkness taught by the main body.

It was then that Sarutobi Masanari's eyes lit up; although he'd successfully cultivated the Breath of Darkness, he wasn't very skilled at using it. After listening to Mokgetsu for a short half hour, Sarutobi Masanari was surprised to find he'd solved a cultivation problem.

"No wonder Asuma admires him so much." Sarutobi Masanari gained a concrete understanding of Mokgetsu's teaching abilities.

If it weren't for considering that Mokgetsu's status wasn't the same as before, Sarutobi Masanari would think of having Mokgetsu tutor his future children.

With Mokgetsu's current momentum, by the time his child reaches the age for training, it might be hard even to enlist one of Mokgetsu's students.

[Completed an Intermediate Lesson]

[Evaluation: S]

[Rewards: Breathing Technique Comprehension Increased, Breath of Darkness +35, Dark Burning Jutsu +21, Basic Breathing +18, Breath of Thunder +9]

After claiming the reward, more new insights on breathing techniques emerged in Mokgetsu's mind.

"Perhaps I should first try to fuse Yang Attribute Chakra with Fire Attribute, or develop a hybrid breath of Flame and Yang?" Mokgetsu considered.

These sudden ideas were both challenging, with the former being at a hell-level difficulty, roughly equivalent to developing a Kekkei Genkai independently.

Though Mokgetsu currently has a profound ninjutsu knowledge base and high proficiency in various Nature Transformations, attempting to develop an unseen Kekkei Genkai might be a pipe dream.

Not to mention unseen ones; even known ones are difficult to achieve. Otherwise, Sarutobi Hiruzen would have developed a Kekkei Genkai himself long ago.

Mokgetsu thought that the development of a Kekkei Genkai seemed a bit mystical; with the right fortune, not only Kekkei Genkai but even obsolete bloodlines could be developed.

Mokgetsu temporarily suppressed the thoughts in his mind, understanding these were long-term projects and rushing would be in vain.

After dinner, Mokgetsu went to the training ground to instruct Yamato.

In the past two weeks, Mokgetsu focused on teaching the core areas of Chakra Control and water and earth ninjutsu.

"Let's not practice ninjutsu today; today, you're going to learn the Basic Breathing Technique," Mokgetsu prepared to guide Yamato into the next stage of cultivation.

With Mokgetsu's continuous improvements, the current Basic Breathing Technique is an excellent foundational breath, enhancing training effects while seamlessly transitioning to various attribute breath techniques.

Compared to the more challenging attribute breath techniques, the Basic Breathing Technique is much easier.

However, without advanced breath techniques, cultivating the Basic Breathing Technique is less advantageous than the Breath of Darkness.

This is because Breath of Darkness is not only relatively simple and quick to grasp but also offers greater benefits than the Basic Breathing Technique, with the only issue being its low ceiling, even with Dark Burning Jutsu.

"Once you've mastered Concentrated Breathing to a certain extent, you can incorporate it into your training, ideally integrating it into your daily breathing."

Yamato didn't fully understand but silently committed Mokgetsu's words to memory.

"Recently, the weather is warming up, but don't forget to keep warm; transitions between seasons are prime times for catching colds." As he was leaving, Mokgetsu offered a reminder.

In truth, Mokgetsu thought that with Yamato's Hashirama Cells, he shouldn't easily fall ill.

Mokgetsu mainly intended to frustrate Shimura Danzo; with him as a teacher, Shimura Danzo's attempts at PUA on Yamato would inevitably lead Yamato to compare Mokgetsu and Shimura Danzo. The comparison would be apparent, rendering Shimura Danzo's PUA ineffective.

Back home, Mokgetsu first reviewed some Wood Release Ninjutsu materials.

After all, possessing a proficiency level of a thousand in Wood Release is quite abstract if one cannot even perform a basic Wood Clone.

After studying Wood Release, Mokgetsu visited Namikaze Minato's home next door for a chat, exchanging thoughts on Fuinjutsu.

Namikaze Minato, overall, isn't as skilled in Fuinjutsu as Kushina, but he offers unique insights.

"Mokgetsu, your timing is perfect. I was just about to find you," Minato said as he was on the brink of visiting Mokgetsu's house.

"Let me guess, you're heading out on a mission?" Mokgetsu asked after some thought.

Namikaze Minato nodded with a face full of helplessness.

"Initially, I planned to take another week's break, but our intelligence ninjas recently discovered the Hidden Rock sending numerous ninjas into the Land of Grass. The Third Hokage is worried something might happen on the Grass Country front and wants me to head there." Namikaze Minato explained.

Unlike Jiraiya and Orochimaru, due to the nature of his Ninjutsu, Namikaze Minato is like a brick, moved to wherever needed, often taking on high-difficulty missions solo or leading an elite squad.

"It's really tough," Mokgetsu remarked.

It's no wonder Namikaze Minato became the Fourth Hokage in the original story; aside from Jiraiya and Tsunade not wanting to compete, Namikaze Minato himself is extremely dedicated. At this rate, who could match his achievements?

"Luckily, it's today. If the mission came earlier, I wouldn't have been able to teach Kushina the Rasengan." Namikaze Minato, accustomed to being busy, was merely concerned about Kushina.

"Rasengan?" Mokgetsu feigned puzzlement.

He figured he should make something delicious to repay Kushina; otherwise, if Minato took that name, he too would be nailed to the pillar of shame.

"The name is quite good, isn't it? Kushina helped me come up with it," Minato said, his smile showing a hint of pride.

Although he thought his own choice was decent, Kushina's Rasengan was clearly a better fit.

Mokgetsu nodded in acknowledgment; all future ninjas who mastered the Rasengan owed Kushina thanks for claiming the naming rights; otherwise, ninjas fond of chanting Ninjutsu names would have suffered greatly.

"Mokgetsu, please take good care of Kushina while in Konoha. If you have the time, it'd be great to teach her the Rasengan; with you teaching, she should grasp it quickly." Before leaving, Minato couldn't help but give Mokgetsu a little more instruction.

"Got it," Mokgetsu nodded in agreement.

For him, whether it's making an extra meal or teaching ninjutsu, it's all done with ease.

"Mokgetsu, goodbye," Namikaze Minato waved to Mokgetsu as he headed toward the Konoha gate.

Mokgetsu watched Namikaze Minato's departure.
