In the perspective of a Ninja Sect ninja, Sosuke has always stayed in the Ninja Sect, so the origin of this Pokemon Egg is a mystery.
In fact, if it weren't for Black Zetsu lurking in the shadows, Mokgetsu wouldn't care, because his disciples surely wouldn't delve into its origins too deeply.
But considering White Zetsu's surveillance, Mokgetsu had to put on a show because his cover couldn't be blown just yet.
With the Transformation Skill at his disposal, even if Sosuke and Habu Mokgetsu share some similarities, Black Zetsu and Uchiha Madara would never suspect that they are the same person.
To prevent any accidents, Mokgetsu left a Shadow Clone in the Ninja Sect in case Black Zetsu tried to stir up trouble.
After leaving the Ninja Sect, the real Mokgetsu hurried back to Konoha overnight, as he still had to teach at the Anbu the next morning. An S-level middle-class evaluation is also a reward he couldn't refuse.
...
After becoming Mokgetsu's disciple, Yamato went to the Southern Border Forest more frequently, not just on Sundays.
Yamato was very happy because this meant he could spend more time with Mokgetsu each day, not just the two or three hours in the evening.
However, what Yamato didn't expect was that the Mokgetsu in the Southern Border Forest was actually a Shadow Clone.
At first, he didn't know, because all of Mokgetsu's Shadow Clone's behaviors didn't give away any hints.
It wasn't until one training session ended and Mokgetsu turned into white smoke before his eyes and vanished that Yamato realized the Mokgetsu teaching him was a Shadow Clone.
"Teacher Mokgetsu sends a Shadow Clone to teach us when he's busy," Kakashi explained when he saw that Yamato was confused.
Having been through this himself, Kakashi could even guess what Yamato was thinking at that moment.
"You're probably thinking that Teacher Mokgetsu is really responsible, and becoming his disciple is truly wonderful, right?" Kakashi said calmly.
Yamato covered his chest, looking at Kakashi with surprise. How could this person read minds?
"Actually, you should be covering your brain since it's your brain that's doing the thinking," Kakashi corrected.
Yamato immediately changed his posture to cover his brain, looking at Kakashi warily.
"You and Obito might have more in common to talk about," Kakashi finally commented.
Yamato looked at Kakashi, puzzled and unsure of what he meant.
Obito, who was preparing to go home but got caught in the crossfire, was outraged. Was he really that stupid?
"You're the one who has something in common with him!" Obito couldn't help but retort.
Looking at Obito's indignant expression, even though he didn't fully understand, Yamato felt a bit insulted.
"Won't admit it, huh? Then let the facts speak for themselves," Kakashi said indifferently.
Since Charmander hatched, Obito had been a bit restless. Kakashi needed to show him who the vice-captain of the team really was.
Kakashi took out three test papers from his Ninja Pouch.
"These are test papers I compiled based on the questions Teacher Mokgetsu has taught. Let's prove ourselves with our answers," Kakashi said, holding up the test papers.
Obito was dumbfounded. Playing dirty, huh? Not putting ninja tools in the Ninja Pouch but test papers instead.
Yamato scratched his head, unable to understand the situation.
It clearly started with him, yet he felt like he got dragged into it as the innocent party.
"These are all questions Teacher Mokgetsu has explained. Surely no one here can't even solve questions we've been taught?" Kakashi said as he glanced at Nohara Rin.
"Rin, wouldn't you agree?"
"Even if they're questions we've been taught, getting them all right is difficult. After all, a lot of time has passed, and everyone's learning ability differs, but passing shouldn't be too hard?"
Nohara Rin looked at Kakashi, then at Obito, and said uncertainly.
Kakashi acted as if he was about to sigh, "You're right, Rin. I didn't consider the ability issue. Among comrades, we should leave some face. Let's just..."
Kakashi made a gesture as if he was about to put the papers back in the Ninja Pouch.
Obito couldn't take it anymore. With new test papers, he indeed couldn't guarantee passing, but on questions he'd already done? Impossible not to pass!
He'd definitely pass!
"Wait, Kakashi, today I'll show you what an eighty-point score on the Chunin Examination written test is worth!" Obito confidently grabbed Kakashi's hand.
Obito also grabbed Yamato, who was prepared to go home, wanting to prove with scores that he was smarter than Yamato.
Kakashi's lips curled up slightly. Obito was just too easy to read.
Then Kakashi gave the three identical test papers to Obito and Yamato to glance at before distributing them.
Yamato looked at the black-and-white characters before him and began to doubt life. How come he recognized every word, but combined, they became unfamiliar?
Are these the characters of the Land of Fire? They must be foreign words that just look similar.
Seeing Yamato about to faint, Obito couldn't help but chuckle. It's a rite of passage for becoming a disciple of Mokgetsu.
"How about suggesting to Teacher Mokgetsu that we restart the test training?" Obito joked about having Yamato experience the relentless cycle of questions, leading to a mountain of papers like a hellish sea.
Remembering that hellish time, Obito subconsciously shivered and then shook his head.
That's a Pandora's box that shouldn't be opened. If opened, Yamato wouldn't be the only one to suffer. Mokgetsu always treats everyone equally, and when there are test papers, everyone gets to do them.
As chaotic thoughts rose in his mind, Obito inadvertently noticed that Kakashi had already completed several problems.
This immediately frightened Obito, who hadn't done a single problem, prompting him to start answering.
However, once he began, Obito discovered a serious issue. He had some memory of these questions, but couldn't recall how Mokgetsu taught to solve them; he only remembered his initial approach to the problems.
