Chapter 839 - Chapter 425: Advanced Class Rewards

Land of Rain.

The news of the unrestricted lectures spread, and the area near the Ninja Sect Base became bustling.

Some ninjas from afar settled down early nearby, waiting for the legendary Ninja Master to officially start the lecture.

Since Mokgetsu starts his lectures at nine in the morning, which is quite early, even the ninjas from the nearby Land of Rain who are most interested chose to come and stay overnight a day in advance.

The thoughts of others are still unknown, but the innkeeper and shopkeeper next to the Ninja Sect Base are immensely grateful to Mokgetsu, wishing for him to hold more events like these.

As the leader, Hanzo naturally couldn't rush to the Ninja Sect Base early in the morning for the lecture, so he also arrived in advance.

Disguised as a Wandering Ninja, Hanzo observed the crowds passing by.

"Hidden Rock Ninja, Hidden Sand Ninja, even Konoha has sent people." Looking at the mixed crowd, Hanzo already sensed the impending chaos.

In those Ninja Villages, there are foes who are currently at war, and enemies meeting would naturally be at each other's throats, so fights breaking out is all too normal.

"Those wishing to fight, please leave the town; fighting within the town will be considered provocation and will require compensation for any damages." A Ninja of the Ninja Sect patrolled and shouted.

Mokgetsu also considered that too many ninjas might cause chaos; his attitude is that fighting can occur, but do not disturb the ordinary people or his lecture.

"Quite a bit of preparation." Hanzo withdrew his gaze and returned to the inn but was attracted by a shout.

"That seems to be the Hidden Sand Hero, Pakura."

Hanzo, expressionless, began to search around and saw the undisguised Pakura at the street corner.

"That appearance, there's no doubt, it's definitely the Hidden Sand Hero with the Scorch Release."

"A ninja of her caliber actually came to listen to Sosuke's lecture?"

Wandering Ninjas were incredibly surprised.

In their eyes, Pakura's level is already a very strong presence, practically an untouchable figure.

Hanzo felt disdain in his heart; Pakura is nothing, even he, Half-God Hanzo, came out of curiosity.

Hanzo guessed that if he wasn't in disguise, the headlines tomorrow in the Ninja World would be about him and Sosuke.

However, the content likely wouldn't be very favorable for him, given that he was Sosuke's defeated opponent, and coming to the lecture is clearly a sign of being admitted defeat.

Pakura noticed the gazes and quiet discussions around her, but she didn't care.

To her, most of the people here were just ants that she could crush at any moment.

"Kitsuchi, why is he here in the Land of Rain again?" Hanzo discovered the equally undisguised Kitsuchi.

Upon noticing Kitsuchi, the surrounding Wandering Ninjas gasped; Kitsuchi's reputation is no smaller than Pakura's, and due to his status as the son of the Tsuchikage, it's even greater.

"Rock Fist Kitsuchi is here too; I wonder if other significant figures are here, just disguised or not showing themselves." Someone boldly speculated.

Hanzo quietly returned to the inn.

"What a lively scene. No wonder it's Sosuke sensei; a single call and so many ninjas respond. If they all could join the Ninja Sect, the Sect's strength would at least multiply several times." Yahiko remarked while surveying from a high point.

Working alongside Mokgetsu, Yahiko realized his own shortcomings were too many; the former Akatsuki could hardly grow to this step of the Ninja Sect.

"Um, that's probably not possible; even Wandering Ninjas wouldn't join an organization just like that." Nagato thought for a moment and replied.

"And many of them are ninjas from the Ninja Villages. Whether from a personal interest perspective or..."

"Haha, of course, I know, I was just joking." Yahiko interrupted, placing an arm around Nagato's neck and laughed.

He wasn't naive to think such thoughts; strengthening the Ninja Sect isn't achieved this way.

"But Nagato, you've really changed a lot, becoming more formidable." Yahiko praised.

Previously, Nagato was quite reserved; one had to actively search for topics to get him to respond a little.

Now, Nagato not only speaks but does so eloquently.

"Everyone has, thanks to Sosuke sensei's guidance." Nagato responded looking into the distance.

Saying Mokgetsu changed the Land of Rain might not be enough now, but Mokgetsu indeed changed them, making them better.

"Yeah, it's great for everyone to move forward together." Yahiko stretched his arms and body and smiled.

Among those in the Ninja Sect, if someone recognized Mokgetsu the most, even if Yahiko isn't absolutely the first, he's undeniably one of them. To prevent problems in the Ninja Sect, he even disbanded the Akatsuki, which bore his growth and dreams.

...

The next day.

On the open grounds of the Ninja Sect Base, the eagerly anticipated Ninja Master class was about to begin.

There was no luxuriously decorated venue, no tables or chairs, not even for Mokgetsu as the lecturer, who just had a slightly elevated platform so others could see him.

Despite the simple conditions, most ninjas had no complaints.

The famous Ninja Master Sosuke had no seats, so standing together seemed reasonable.

"So this is the Sosuke who defeated Half-God Hanzo, looks so young, probably no more than thirty."

"Yes, such a young powerhouse had no prior fame before defeating Hanzo, really hiding deep."

Ninjas were discussing Mokgetsu's achievements.

"I wonder what content will be taught, hope it's not just basic ninjutsu."

"Sosuke defeated Hanzo using Fire Release, Fire Release is countered by Water Release; typically he should be most proficient with Fire Release to do this, so maybe he'll explain Fire Release?"
