Chapter 640 - Chapter 141: Sometimes Going Straight In is as Simple as Piercing That Membrane

The person who drew the King card in the first round was Su. He clearly hadn't fully integrated into the atmosphere of the headquarters yet... or more accurately, he hadn't harmonized with Elysia rhythm. Looking quite restrained, he closed his eyes and cautiously held up his card, saying, "Then, Number 5."

According to the rules, Number 5 and the Extra Joker had to reveal their identities. Thus, Vil-V and Lin flipped their cards.

"..."

"..."

Lin and Vil-V exchanged a glance. Her smile was calm and composed, not that fleeting shyness from before.

Back to the usual Vil-V, then...

Su thought for a moment and asked a simple question: "What kind of songs do you usually listen to?"

The King's Game is a game that treads near the "red line." Guests and staff in certain romantic clubs are particularly fond of it, as it has a certain charm that makes both the brain and the lower body lose their boundaries. Naturally, they wouldn't play to that extreme, but they certainly wouldn't treat it like a "Guess Number" game either; private questions were permitted.

However, Su's personality dictated that he would only ask these types of questions.

"Light music."

"Eden's songs."

"..."

Eden's answer was ordinary. Lin answer didn't surprise Mei or Kevin, as they already knew, but the others cast suspicious glances at Lin and then at the equally indifferent Eden.

Only Elysia giggled as she gathered the cards: "Let's continue, then."

The person who drew the King card in the second round... was Mobius.

Lin held his Number 1 card and glanced at the expressions of the others. He felt something was off about this game—for example, the purpose of the "Extra Joker." Originally, the fun of the King's Game lay in the uniqueness of the King's commands and the targeted nature of the play. The existence of the Extra Joker didn't seem to increase the fun.

Also, Elysia seemed a bit abnormal...

"Among you, who was it that left a lip print on my pet's face just now?"

"..."

Lin retracted his earlier thought; compared to Mobius, Elysia seemed much more normal.

"Hmm..." Elysia made a troubled expression, tapped her lip, and said to Mobius, "Mobius, you can't do that. It doesn't follow the rules of the game~"

"How does it not follow the rules?" Mobius frowned and said coldly, "I am the King. If I want to play 'Eliminate the Nine Generations,' it's just a matter of a single word, isn't it?"

...Fair point.

"You can only designate one person to tell the truth. If you ask everyone, you can't ask such a leading question. It's like shooting the arrow first and then drawing the target."

"...How troublesome." Mobius clicked her tongue in annoyance. She thought for a few seconds, then looked up again. "Can you guarantee everyone tells the truth?"

"Well..."

After all, it's just a game. If someone cheats and lies, there's nothing that can be done.

At this point, Vil-V raised her hand with a mysterious smile: "Oh! That's easy to handle. It's the perfect time to test my latest invention, the 'Anti-Lin Special Suppression Machine No. 1'."

Why is it "Anti-Lin"? And what is a Special Suppression Machine No. 1?

"You've all seen clips where a lie detector is placed in a room, and if someone lies, the detector goes off, right?"

She took a palm-sized object that looked like an alarm clock out of her pocket, placed it in the center, and introduced it proudly: "This is the 'Anti-Lin Special Suppression Machine No. 1.' It calculates whether someone is lying by capturing information from the people around it. The accuracy has reached 99% in tests."

This thing? It wasn't that they doubted Vil-V ability, but it was hard to be convinced when she just pulled out a randomly named object and called it a lie detector.

Lin quickly asked: "Elysia, are you half a kilo heavier than you were a month ago?"

"No!"

Beep—

Elysia stared blankly at the beeping detector and then looked at Lin pitifully. But Lin waved his hand: "No problem."

Thus, everyone confirmed the accuracy of the lie detector.

Mobius impatiently scanned everyone's face: "Then let's ask one by one. Start from... Number 10."

Coincidentally, Number 10 and the Extra Joker were Kevin and Su. Both of them shook their heads in perfect unison.

The game continued, but the questions following weren't as ordinary as the first two.

"Yay, I'm the King." Elysia waved the card in her hand and looked at Lin revengefully. She curled her lips. "Then, Number 3, please answer: which lady do you usually fantasize about?"

Lin flipped his card and said coldly, "I choose Dare."

Su also flipped his card with a bitter smile: "I also choose Dare."

"Great." Elysia clapped her hands, her smile blooming like a garden. "Then please, the two of you, perform the feat of eating noodles while doing a handstand."

Mobius had actually brought instant noodles for this vacation. When she pulled them out, she said righteously, "Instant food is the most suitable way to eat for wilderness survival."

However, Elysia was destined to be disappointed. Lin easily supported himself with one hand, picked the noodles out of the bowl, and sucked them into his mouth. During the period he was adapting to having no senses, he had mastered his body to the point where he could control every muscle; eating noodles in a handstand was nothing.

But Su... was a bit of a disaster.

"Pffft!" After spraying noodles out of his nostrils, he collapsed on the floor with a noodle hanging from his nose, looking shell-shocked. "I never want to eat noodles again..."

Next, Vil-V drew the King card. She laughed individualistically and stared at Lin hand, commanding: "Then... Number 7... mm, that's right. Lin, time to flip your card."

...These people weren't playing a normal game at all.

With their dynamic vision and calculation abilities, it was easy to know who held which card. Lin felt there was no need to be so serious about a game, but the others didn't seem to think so.

Left with no choice, Lin flipped his Number 7 card.

Vil-V snapped her fingers and chuckled: "Then, Lin, please leave a lip print of love on my face."

"..."

"..."

"..."

Suddenly, it went silent. Even Lin looked up, feeling the strangeness, and stared at Vil-V.

"Eh? Wait a minute, Vil-V?" After a few seconds of stun, Elysia gave a dry laugh. "This isn't quite right..."

"Is there a problem?"

Vil-V placed her gloved hand on her chin, stroking it. Then, she smiled from the bottom of her heart: "I quite like Lin. I want him to kiss me. That's normal, isn't it?"

"..."
