"Waa... waa... waa..."
Twelve-year-old Lin leaned by the window, reading quietly amidst the pitter-patter of rain outside. He wanted to immerse himself in knowledge, but another "rain sound" drowned him out.
The weather was bad... and so was the person. He sighed, put down the book, pushed open the window, and yelled: "Shut up! Are you an ambulance? Waa-waa non-stop!"
A little girl hiding under the eaves looked at him with teary, terrified eyes, too scared to even remember to cry for a moment.
"I say, you kids, can't you be a bit strong like me? Just because you're young, you cry and fuss all day!" Lin flipped out of the window and stood before her, rolling his eyes. "How old are you?"
The girl wiped her tears. "Th-Thirteen..."
"Great. You've lived in this crappy world for thirteen years, one more than me. If you didn't want to stay, you should have crawled back when the nurse pulled you out! Since you chose to come to this world, face your choices!" Lin scolded her, then seeing her shivering body and wet clothes, he grabbed her hand. "I don't want a corpse next to my house."
After taking her home, he made her take a hot bath and wear his clothes. After drying her hair, some color returned to her face.
Lin stood with three fingers up: "First, I'm not interested in why you were crying next to my house. Second, my patience is limited; don't cry in my home. Finally, if you dare cry again, I'll give you something to really cry about later."
Terrified by Lin threat, she couldn't cry even if she wanted to. She sniffled and nodded. Satisfied, Lin sat back by the window to read.
...
...
"Waa..."
Lin helplessly put down the book, looked at the sobbing girl in the corner, adjusted his expression, and walked over. Then, in front of her... he reached into her collar.
"..." The strange sensation in her chest made her stop sobbing. She looked up at Lin in confusion.
"Cry again and I'll [Redacted] you." Lin pulled his hand out and pinched her chubby cheeks viciously. "I'll rub your chest, poke you with a big stick, and make you have babies. The book says having babies hurts a lot, got it?"
"Oh..." Whether it was the shock or something else, she stopped. She stared at him.
Lin felt awkward. "What is it?"
"How can I... be like you..."
"Like me? You mean a strong, independent, well-behaved person who doesn't cry?" Lin gave a weird laugh. "Mm-mm, a kid like me is indeed outstanding, but not every kid can be like me."
"Really?" The girl was drawn in by his confidence.
"Of course. But if you really want to, I suppose I could teach you." Lin acted reluctant but was secretly delighted. "First, you must trust yourself unconditionally—believe you can do anything."
"Trust... myself?"
"Yes. Second, no matter the difficulty, don't give up. For different types of trouble, imagine a different version of yourself who can solve it..."
The two kids later hid under the warm covers, giggling.
"Can we be friends?" The girl's cute face was right in front of Lin.
Lin fake-coughed: "If I must, I suppose..."
"Then the 'having babies' you mentioned, what's it like?"
"That's not for kids to know." Lin pinched her face again. "You're a year older than me. Ask me again when you become a beautiful big sister with a curvy body."
"Oh... then if you said I can do anything if I believe in myself, can I believe I can become a beautiful big sister?"
"Eh? I... I guess so..." Lin muttered that it wasn't just about believing, but he wasn't about to contradict himself.
"Okay, then let's have babies together when that happens."
...
Vil-V grabbed Lin hands and buried her head between his neck and shoulder, taking a deep, intoxicated breath of the scent she hadn't smelled in so long.
"You're not Vil-V!" Lin broke free, staring warily at this girl with a bizarre smile. She looked completely foreign.
"How could that be? The Specialist is Vil-V, The Conductor is Vil-V, The Magician, The Scholar, and Model Five are all Vil-V. Why wouldn't I be?" She gave a deep bow, exposing her figure. "Allow me to introduce myself. They call me 'The Evil.' It's only natural; the things they don't dare to do fall to me. I am, naturally, the Evil."
Vil-V had eight personalities. Lin had never seen two of them. It seemed one of them was "The Evil."
"What do you want?" Lin knew his eccentric friend might have a dark side, but he didn't expect this.
She narrowed her eyes and licked her lips: "To [Redacted] you, of course... Oh, that's too blunt. To help us escape. We have to do it a hundred times; we'd better hurry."
"You... you planned this?"
"More accurately, 'Vil-V' planned this. Don't blame it all on me. Without their unanimous consent, this wouldn't have happened." Vil-V sat on the bed, chin on her knees, smiling seductively. "Don't think any of them will help you. They're just too embarrassed to do the first time. They're all waiting for me to eat the meat so they can come up for the soup."
"But these hundred times are your times. So if you want to use legs, hands, mouth... or your favorite armpits, it's all fine. I don't mind at all."
"..." Lin lowered his head, fists clenching. His teeth ground together in fury.
"I don't understand... I don't understand what's so good about me! Are you all brain-dead!" He roared hysterically. "I'm a person with a bad personality, and now I'm a scumbag involved with multiple girls. What is there to like? Is it just the face? Even you?"
"Like the face? No, no, Lin. You truly lack a correct perception of yourself." Vil-V crossed her legs, chin in hand. "You have no idea how much influence you had on me back then. You have no idea what those people who targeted you thought of you. You just think we should be 'normal friends' and not have any extra feelings."
"So selfish, Lin. But I like that selfishness too~"
"You..."
"Oh, do I have to be so blunt?" Vil-V dropped her wide smile, her eyes staring at the angry Lin. She took a deep breath.
"I love you. I want to rub my fingers on your tongue and kiss it. I want to inhale the scent of every part of your body. I want you to hold me with all your strength as if you want to crush me into your body and shout how good it feels!"
"I want your body to remember every detail of mine. This body, which I hate for others to see, and this heart, are all for you. Got it?"
