Chapter 693 - Chapter 10: The Little Ones' First Collaboration (2-in-1)_2

Although this island is rarely visited, which causes the Wild Pokémon to be quite strong, it's really only the very top few that are exceptionally powerful.

Most of the time, in an area without external interference, Pokémon's strength should show a gradual progression upwards in tiers.

It's not possible for Pokémon to skip the growing stage just because they are surrounded by strong Pokémon, right?

So this is a pretty good place for training.

If he encounters a powerful one, Natsuhiko will also summon the rest of his Pokémon.

Put simply.

Originally, he could only level up by battling high-level monsters, but now he can use low, medium, and high-level monsters for leveling up.

Not wasting a single one is excellent.

"Keh-keh!" The fire on Chimchar's tail flared up; it was the most excited.

"Oss..."

Latios was somewhat worried but was no longer so resistant to battle.

"Buyi~~"(๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

'Good luck.'

Little Eevee bent its arm towards them.

"You too," Natsuhiko glanced at Eevee.

"Buyi!!!"(°ー°〃)

Seeing Eevee's expression, both Chimchar and Latios burst out laughing.

One of Natsuhiko's goals is to cultivate all eight of Eevee's evolutions.

Of course, pure nurturing can also bring them out since Eevee's evolution doesn't strictly depend on strength.

But having no battle prowess at all would be a bit unreasonable.

Anyway, since he's training Chimchar and Latios, he might as well train Little Eevee as well.

The reason for this choice.

One reason is because it's a Flash Pokémon, and having it attract people at the Dojo entrance would be great.

Secondly, this particular Eevee is the most lively and relatively least averse to battle out of the eight Eevees.

This was apparent during the battle between Snorlax and Salamence earlier.

When the eight Eevees first arrived in Suiyi Town, it was the first to approach Natsuhiko on its own.

Since it doesn't mind battling, Natsuhiko doesn't want to waste its talent.

Speaking of which, these eight Eevees, bred by the League, really don't lack talent.

"Keh~keh~"

Chimchar walked up beside Eevee and gently patted it, indicating it was okay, with it looking after things.

"Buyi—" Eevee let out a long sigh.

The two Pokémon seemed to have a good relationship.

Suddenly though, Little Eevee's nose twitched.

Eevee: 'Who's burning something? The smell is strange.'

Chimchar also smelled it.

Chimchar: 'No idea.'

Eevee puffed out its cheeks, looking extremely indignant.

Eevee: 'Who set the forest on fire? So uncultured.'

Chimchar: 'Yeah, totally.'

Latios pursed its lips.

Latios: 'Um...'

Eevee: 'You think so too, right?'

Eevee looked at Latios.

Latios nodded, hesitated, and decided to give a reminder.

Latios: 'Um.....'

It pointed to the spot where Chimchar got close to Eevee, near Chimchar's tail and Eevee's tail.

Eevee looked back, puzzled.

"Buyi!!!"o_O

Quickly backed away from Chimchar, using its hind legs to scuff the ground repeatedly, actually flinging up some sand and putting out the flame on its tail.

Sandslash.

Looking at its beloved tail, a small clump of fur had turned black and curled up.

It was at a loss for words.

It leapt into Natsuhiko's arms.

"Buyi~ Buyi~ Buy~ Buyi~~"

Sniffled, choking up in its throat.

Chimchar looked clueless and didn't know how to handle the situation.

It had forgotten about this.

Natsuhiko was amused by their playful antics.

But he quickly comforted, "It's alright, it'll grow back in a while."

"Buyi?"...(。•ˇ‸ˇ•。)...

'Really? Will it look as good as before?'

Natsuhiko chuckled and patted its head, "Better, it will look better."

Only then did Eevee reluctantly accept the outcome.

Back on the ground, as Chimchar was about to apologize, Eevee hopped away.

It was literally a leap.

It pulled back a full two meters.

"Buyi!"

Chimchar looked completely embarrassed, not knowing how to explain.

But quickly, Chimchar's expression turned very serious.

Latios did as well.

"Buyi?"

Eevee was puzzled by their expression changes.

But wary, it didn't relax.

It twisted its paw against the ground lightly, trying to leave enough room on the wet ground for leverage.

However, when it twisted its ankle, it noticed something was off.

Why is it...

Not firm underfoot?

And it felt cool and slippery?

Suddenly.

Little Eevee seemed to realize something instinctively, and that ominous sense of danger grew larger in its mind.

Lowering its head to glance under its ankles, it was stepping on a segment of a purple thing, which was slowly wriggling.

Its expression stiffened as it looked up.

What it saw, was a purple snakehead, with menacing snake eyes glaring angrily at it, the serpent's tongue rapidly flicking in and out of its mouth.

Arbok!

"Cha!!!"

Arbok opened its mouth wide, a foul stench emitted from its mouth, filling Eevee's face.

Eevee's face turned pale instantly.

"Buyi!!!"=͟͟͞͞=͟͟͞͞(●⁰ꈊ⁰●|||)

A dark orb quickly formed in its mouth, aimed at Arbok's mouth and shot out.

Then its figure became a flash of white light, fleeing from Arbok at lightning speed.
