Milotic!
Its body is mostly milky white, with bright red eyes and three black spots under its neck that might be gills.
The head is relatively long, with a small protuberance at the end, and red tendrils resembling "eyebrows" extend from above the eyes to outside the fur, along with red hair-like fins draping on either side of the head.
The tail is covered with blue and pink scales, with black stripes, overlapping with four large blue scales at the tail end, forming a fan-like, splendid tail, which is one of Milotic's main tools for swiftly swimming in water.
Milotic is known as the "Gentle Hatchling."
It is a very gentle Pokémon that gets along well with people.
In the wild, wild Milotic usually avoid battles. If it encounters other Pokémon fighting out of anger, it will use its own way to calm them down.
It is a peace-loving Pokémon.
Natsuhiko and his group saw Milotic, and Milotic naturally noticed them too.
"Mmm—"
The ethereal sound echoed in the vast cavern, sounding like a dolphin, without any impurities.
It seemed less like a Pokémon, more like a perfect piece of art.
Natsuhiko's gaze met with Milotic's in the air.
What kind of eyes were those.
They seemed to contain an entire starry sky, dazzling and brilliant.
And also resembled a spring of pure, clear water, uncontaminated by any impurity.
"Alakazam."
It wasn't until Alakazam's voice rang in his ear that Natsuhiko came back to his senses.
Then he saw Milotic's tail stir up a splash in the water before swimming towards the depths of the cavern.
But Natsuhiko was hesitating.
One of the reasons he came down to the lake bottom seeking secrets was to find Milotic.
But when he actually saw this Milotic, he hesitated.
Should such a spiritually pure Pokémon really be captured, to experience the murkiness and darkness of the Pokémon Realm?
When people see beautiful things, they can't help but feel compassion.
They ponder whether some of their actions might spoil this beauty.
This was Natsuhiko's current mindset, somewhat conflicted.
"Alakazam?"
Alakazam looked puzzled at Natsuhiko, who let Milotic leave without making a move.
Natsuhiko smiled wryly, placing a hand on Alakazam's shoulder.
He confided his true thoughts to it.
Alakazam had the highest intelligence among Natsuhiko's Pokémon, and often its suggestions were constructive when Natsuhiko was considering or hesitating.
"Alakazam, what do you think?"
After hearing him out, Alakazam pursed its lips.
"Alakazam..."
It fully understood Natsuhiko's meaning.
But Alakazam's words reminded Natsuhiko.
How do you know it prefers the status quo?
Rather than speculating here, why not go up and ask, explain the outside world to it, and let it make its own "choice"?
Besides,
who said it can't maintain its current state outside?
It might be more comfortable at Natsuhiko's Pokemon Ranch, who knows.
Right?
Alakazam successfully "persuaded" Natsuhiko.
"Let's go and see, maybe there's something else inside here."
Natsuhiko appreciatively patted Alakazam's shoulder again.
Indeed.
Among his Pokémon, Alakazam understood him the most.
If Milotic doesn't want to leave,
"convince" it.
Click.
Alakazam led Natsuhiko and Bewear to stand on the cavern's rocks.
This part of the cavern was very damp, so one must be careful walking here, as stepping on slippery moss might cause a fall.
Inside the cavern, a river flowed, originating from the lake's water passing through a membrane, leading to the unknown depths.
Natsuhiko recalled Gyarados and Golduck, allowing Chinchou to swim along the water flow, simultaneously providing light.
Then he summoned Beedrill, Togekiss, Monferno, Latios, and Eevee.
This place did not seem like it would have outsiders coming, so he didn't worry much, letting the Pokémon out for some fresh air.
"Chakyi~~"
Upon coming out, Togekiss circled around Natsuhiko's head once.
It was obviously a bit restless from staying inside too long, and was happily bouncing around after coming out.
While walking and bringing them along, several Pokémon engaged in exchanges.
When Alakazam used its psychic power to project Milotic's image in their minds, Togekiss, Latios, and Eevee had the biggest reactions.
Their twinkling eyes looked as if they'd seen some superstar.
Of course.
Togekiss, being the team's "Social Butterfly," was naturally given the task to establish good terms with Bewear.
Next, translate the interaction between Teacher Poke, the social butterfly Togekiss, and Bewear.
Togekiss: Hey Bear, how are you? (=•ω•=)m
Bewear: ...(.・・)
Latios: Call it Kapu Bear, if you call it wrong, it won't respond to you.
Togekiss: What a cool name! ヾ(●´∇`●)ノ
Bewear: ...
Togekiss: Why aren't you talking, Bear?
Bewear: ...
Togekiss: Is it mute? (Looking sideways at Latios)
Boom!!
The nearby rock wall suddenly cracked, with Bewear's fist pressed against it.
Huge cracks radiated from its fist, spreading and becoming more exaggerated by the moment.
Togekiss, Latios: (°ー°〃)
