Fairy Type!
Finally, we know the name of this new attribute.
Yes.
New attribute.
After witnessing Togekiss's "Dragon Pulse" bath, few doubted the authenticity of Natsuhiko's claims of discovering a new attribute.
Now.
They just want to know more about the Fairy Type.
Is it exclusive to Pokémon like Togekiss, or can other Pokémon have it too?
Is immunity to Dragon Type its only feature?
What about its interactions with other types?
And, does the Fairy Type not have its own Techniques?
An endless stream of questions emerges from the minds of everyone who has heard the news.
However.
Natsuhiko's answer was.....
"I am still conducting research and exploration on the specifics, please stay tuned to my thesis, or in future battles, where I might showcase my discoveries one by one."
After saying this, Natsuhiko handed the microphone back to the host, nodded slightly to Professor Oak, and then left.
"Ahem, please understand, Pokémon research is a discipline that requires a lot of time. Natsuhiko has to participate in this tournament while conducting Pokémon research, so time will definitely be tight," Professor Oak explained to the audience with a smile.
"But rest assured, Natsuhiko is a very responsible person. Since he discovered and disclosed this new Fairy Type, he will definitely see it through, please give Natsuhiko some time." He added.
In response.
Although the audience could not immediately learn everything about the Fairy Type, they expressed their understanding.
Because what Professor Oak said made a lot of sense.
Conducting research isn't something that can be completed overnight.
This is a new attribute!
How much information and data does it involve?
Not to mention the already known seventeen types, how many have been thoroughly researched?
This is definitely not a small project.
No matter how urgent, they have to wait.
Moreover, only Natsuhiko can do this.
No need to think about it.
When Natsuhiko returns, the attention and fans on his Alliance forum will surely skyrocket, ushering in an explosive growth.
And Natsuhiko's influence will also increase.
At least.
The Alliance must be taking this matter seriously already.
The competition continues.
But it is destined that no match after this will achieve the same level of heat as Natsuhiko's battle with Shimi.
In everyone's hearts, there remains some curiosity about the Fairy Type.
Returning to the competitor's seat.
"Natsuhiko, can the Fairy Type really be immune to Dragon-type Techniques? Not just resist them?"
As soon as Natsuhiko returned, Lance couldn't help but ask.
"Yes." Natsuhiko glanced at him, "But it seems you don't have much to worry about, right?"
Lance: "..."
Flint and the others displayed knowing smiles.
Lance opened his mouth, but was stuck mid-sentence, unable to speak.
All that was left was a helpless sigh.
With a hint of concern he said:
"Actually, I am more worried about the impact of you revealing this new attribute. It might anger some of the established powers, or some strong Dragon-type Trainers."
"But I'm a victim too. I'm the Dragon-type Dojo Master." Natsuhiko retorted.
Upon hearing that.
Lance blinked twice.
Wait a minute.
He has a point!
Natsuhiko himself is a Dragon-type Trainer and the Dragon Dojo Master.
There's no reason for him to deliberately introduce a new attribute to make himself uncomfortable, right?
Hilona covered her mouth, chuckling.
Natsuhiko's tactic of "turning enemies into friends" made her a bit impressed.
"Natsuhiko, why didn't my Togekiss trigger the Fairy type's immunity against Dragon-type Pokémon during training with Garchomp?" Hilona asked.
Her Togetic had already evolved into Togekiss.
"Because your Togekiss's Fairy Type hasn't awakened yet." Natsuhiko explained.
"Awakened?"
"Correct, according to my observations, the Fairy Energy in the Pokémon Realm is not yet abundant, so many Pokémon that should have the Fairy Type have not awakened."
"Not abundant?" Flint also raised a question.
"I cannot provide a specific explanation for now. But what I do know is that Fairy Energy is rapidly filling up. I believe it won't be long before we witness the rapid awakening of Fairy Type Pokémon." Natsuhiko shrugged.
He truly doesn't know the exact situation of Fairy Energy.
However, he suspects it might be related to the "X Deer" from the Kalos Region.
After this tournament ends.
If possible, he might take a trip to the Kalos Region.
Not only to explore the situation of Fairy Energy but also to collect some Super Evolution Stones.
Since Fairy Energy has been announced, it seems Super Evolution won't stay hidden for long either.
It's wise to prepare in advance.
"However, if you want your Togekiss to awaken its Fairy Type energy as soon as possible, I might have a way." Natsuhiko added.
"Oh? You have a way to awaken a Fairy Type Pokémon?"
Hilona had no sooner spoken than she realized.
Of course.
Otherwise, how did Natsuhiko's Togekiss awaken?
"Specifically, it may have to be operated once we're back in Sinnoh, but in the meantime, you can feed your Togekiss these."
