Noah's slick fingers rubbed my inside. With the warm water prickling my skin, my body's temperature rose.

He demanded from me with a pout. I chuckled, turning my body around and wrapped my arms around his neck. Pulling him closer, I kissed his lips and pried it open. Noah didn't miss that opportunity to slip his tongue inside.

But it seemed like Noah's stomach didn't match his desire.
Noah pulled away, embarrassed at his stomach demanding food. That marked the end of this battle of wrestle between us. I patted his shoulder and grinned back at him.

We enjoyed a hearty breakfast together. Noah had prepared mashed potatoes and roasted chicken for us. It might seem heavy for breakfast, but one shouldn't underestimate the appetite of two grown men starving after hours of exercise.

Noah beamed in smiles seeing me enjoyed the food he made. I nodded in satisfaction as I took bites of it nonstop.
'My boyfriend really is the best.'
Even in our previous life, I knew he could cook well.
'Maybe I should do the other chores when he's away.'
With our situation now flipped, instead of me hosting him at my house, now I had become a permanent resident in his house. So of course I had to take my part in this house too.
Putting down my utensils, I wiped my mouth. Noah had long finished before me as he ate way less to maintain his body weight as an idol. But he stayed at the dining table and waited for me, staring at my face. Not that I mind, he could stare all he wanted, I was his lover after all.
"I'm planning to quit my idol career and leave the entertainment industry."
"Huh? So suddenly?"
Noah nodded, he seemed to have made up his mind.
"A director introduced me to his company, saying there was a vacant position in the finance department so I decided to apply."
"What about your idol group? Is it alright to suddenly leave?"
"I talked with my manager already, my contract is going to be over in 2 months anyway so the company permitted me to leave."
He grabbed my hand as he smiled, "Now that I have found you, there's no need for me to put you in danger if a scandal ever breaks out."
I nodded at his words. What Noah said made sense, an idol's life was unpredictable. Their image and reputation were the backbone of their career. If Noah wanted to stay with me he had to change his job to live quietly.
"Maybe I should apply to a company too."
Working as a construction worker took a lot of time and energy, the pay wasn't that stable either. For a better life, I needed to work hard to collect money.
"But you don't really have to work, I could provide you just fine- Ouch."
I pinched his cheek, "Are you telling me to leech off my boyfriend? That's a no. Besides, if I don't work, I'd feel antsy, so let me gain my own money to indulge you later on."

I smiled bitterly at his statement. At first, I worked to the bone in my last life because I felt guilty for taking over the original Ethan's body, but over time, it became a nature to me. Now that habit had also transferred to my current self.
"Want some tea?"
Noah asked with the same tone I had used in our previous life. That made me look up at him.

After offering tea every day whenever we had a morning meeting, I successfully converted the three of them to enjoy tea with me.

I tightened my tie as I gazed at the mirror. Slicked back hair and a suit, it's been a long time since I last wore something this formal. A silver ring was placed on my finger, shining brightly as sunlight hit it.
"Are you ready?"
Noah entered the room. He was wearing a brown suit with the same design as mine. He hugged me from behind, kissing my hand. The same silver ring was placed on his finger.
"Yeah, let's go."
I patted his head and went outside. Noah had already taken out the car, ready to take both of us to work.
After a year of living together, we had finally become office workers with stable incomes. We had adjusted well to our current daily life and were living a balanced work-love life.
"How about a date after we got off work?" Noah asked as soon as we got inside the car.
I checked on my wristwatch, calculating the time in my mind before I answered, "I have a department drinking party at 5, how about a movie night at 7? I'll try to leave early."
Noah grumbled, "Why does your department always have an unnecessary drinking party after every project? They took too much of your time when you're already supposed to be home."
I chuckled at his words. Lately he often grumbled at how my work was taking away all my time with him.
"Haa... if only we're in the same company... I'll definitely visit you every day."
"Unfortunately we don't, but at least I'll think and miss you all day when I work. So when we meet each other again at home, I could kiss you to overcome my loneliness."
I smirked as I teased him, that made Noah's face flush as red as a tomato. Noah opened his mouth but close it again as we had already arrived in front of my company.
"Then, I'll get going." I gave him a peck on the cheek and got out.
He gave one last smile before driving away.
I raised my hand up in the sky, the silver ring on my finger reflected the light. It was a gift from Noah, a token to remember each other or rather our engagement ring if I were to describe it.
Kissing it deeply, a wave of joy washed over me. Having something to look forward to was indeed a great feeling.
"Alright! Let's finish this quickly so I can go on a date!"
One thing for sure, no matter which world we were in, our love was the reason my life felt complete.
