Daryup swept his hand grandly. The short Alien Abductor screeched, releasing a wave that captured Yugen's Mage on the field, pulling it over like a puppet.
"However, a monster controlled by the Abductor must maintain the same actions as the Abductor," Daryup said.
This was another abstract description characteristic of manga, difficult to understand from the perspective of structured K language. But judging from the actual depiction in the manga, it could roughly be translated as: the controlled monster must maintain the same representation as the Alien Abductor, and if either the controlled monster or the Alien Abductor launches an attack this turn, the other must also attack.
"Change 'Black Magic Refiner' to attack mode!" Daryup called.

The altar of the ritual appeared, with Chestnut Ball standing as a sacrifice upon it.
Daryup was taken aback: "Wait, Chestnut Ball should be in the graveyard..."
"Chestnut Ball's other effect allows it to be banished from the game while conducting a Ritual Summon, serving as a substitute for one of the sacrificial monsters.
