Chapter 591 - Chapter 589: Order of the Phoenix

Kael didn't know what the Ministry of Magic's purpose was in sending him that letter. Was it to warn him to keep his mouth shut? Or for some other reason.

That night, Kael also asked Chris, but like Mr. Weasley, he didn't know the reason either.

"Mafalda Hopkirk from the Office of the Prohibition of the Misuse of Magic is just following orders," Chris said. "Afterward, I went to the Minister's office, but someone said Fudge had gone out two days ago and never returned."

Then he patted Kael on the shoulder.

"Don't worry, Mafalda said it's just a simple inquiry. After all, no one can prove that you used the Charm at the Leaky Cauldron, can they?

"And this inquiry won't affect your normal school start... but that Harry Potter might be in trouble."

"Does the Ministry of Magic really want to expel Harry?" Kael asked.

"No, it's for another reason," Chris shook his head and said. "Alastor and Sirius think the Dementor attack on Harry might very well be You-Know-Who's doing."

"Dementor?"

"Yes, otherwise he wouldn't have used the Patronus Charm in front of those three Muggles."

Chris poured himself a strong cup of tea. "The Dementors appeared in the Muggle Community and tried to devour the souls of three Muggles... Honestly, nothing like this has ever happened before."

"Yes, this is indeed rare," Kael nodded.

As far as he knew, every Dementor was strictly confined to the island where Azkaban was located.

And the Beaters stationed there were mainly to watch over the Dementors, not to prevent prisoners from escaping, to keep them from sneaking out.

So, if it weren't for the Ministry of Magic's permission, the Dementors could never have appeared in Little Whinging.

Of course, it's not impossible for Voldemort, but if he really occupied Azkaban, it's unlikely he'd send only one or two to deal with Harry.

So the possibility of it being the Ministry of Magic is higher... to be honest, such a framing method is a bit too crude.

After chatting a bit more with Chris, Kael went upstairs to his room.

...

In the following days, the Weasleys next door seemed to suddenly become busy, and Kael hadn't seen Mrs. Weasley for two or three days in a row.

Once when he went over, he found they were packing up, as if they were moving.

"What are you doing?" he asked curiously.

"A place you could never imagine," Fred and George said, putting down their boxes and running over. "Mum has been there all along."

He looked a bit excited, his ears slightly red.

"Fred, George!"

At this time, Mrs. Weasley, whom he hadn't seen for a long time, also walked over quickly, "Hurry up and pack your things. We need to leave soon."

As she spoke, she noticed Kael nearby.

"Dear, are you alright?"

She gave Kael a hug, "I heard you also got into trouble with the Ministry of Magic."

"It's nothing, Mrs. Weasley, just a routine inquiry," Kael said. "Are you going somewhere?"

"Yes, to a... um, safer place," Mrs. Weasley hesitated for a moment, then said, "Alright, Dumbledore said we don't need to keep it from you."

Then she pulled Kael to a secluded spot.

"What I'm about to say may sound incredible, but it's all true."

"To better fight against the returning You-Know-Who, Dumbledore has restarted the Order of the Phoenix... This is a group established more than ten years ago and has fought the Death Eaters hundreds of times.

"We are going to the temporary headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix this time, which is Sirius's home."

"No. 12 Grimmauld Place?" Kael said.

"How do you know..." Mrs. Weasley looked quite surprised, but she seemed to think of something. "No wonder Dumbledore said not to hide it from you. I suppose you've been there before, right?"

"Yes, but it wasn't the Order's headquarters then."

"That's for sure because it was only decided recently," Mrs. Weasley said. "How about you come along with us? It'll be safer that way. As for Chris, I'll talk to him."

"Going to No. 12 Grimmauld Place?" Kael thought for a moment but still declined Mrs. Weasley's offer.

It's not that he didn't want to go, but Diana had specifically visited at the start of the holiday and urged him to stay at home, preferably not to go elsewhere.

The last trip to Diagon Alley was nearly Kael's first time leaving Ottery St Catchpole.

"If that's the case... alright then." Mrs. Weasley did not press further after hearing it was Diana's request.

But just as she was about to return to packing, Kael stopped her.

"Mrs. Weasley, are all members of the Order of the Phoenix going to Grimmauld Place?"

"Most of them," Mrs. Weasley said.

"What about my dad? Is he going too?"

"No," Mrs. Weasley shook her head. "Chris, he's not a member of the Order of the Phoenix yet."

"What?"

Kael was surprised; he'd always thought Chris was part of the Order.

"Strictly speaking, he is part of the Order of the Phoenix, just not on the list."

Mrs. Weasley explained, "Chris was following Mr. Scamander, dealing with Werewolves, Giants, and various dangerous Fantastic Beasts, which put him on a different battlefield from us.

At that time, the members of the Order were mainly focused on fighting the Death Eaters and supporting the battlefield, but Chris felt that what he was doing did not align with that task.

"Although Dumbledore and we didn't mind, as his actions were aimed at combating the forces of You-Know-Who, just like us, he refused.

"And just before Dumbledore's third invitation to him, You-Know-Who was defeated by Harry, and this matter was set aside."

"I see," Kael realized.

"Of course, this is only temporary," Mrs. Weasley laughed. "I believe it won't be long before Chris's name appears on the Order's list; that's for sure."

"Perhaps mine too," Kael said with a smile.

"No, I don't think so," Mrs. Weasley's face gradually became serious. "Although Alastor also suggested inducting you into the Order, I firmly believe he's rushing things.

"You're still a child who hasn't graduated, and you shouldn't be involved in such dangerous affairs. We are enough."

"Mrs. Weasley..."

Kael was about to speak but was interrupted by a sudden sound of a whistle not far away.

A brand-new car drove into Ottery St Catchpole, the same one that went to King's Cross Station to pick them up... bought by Sirius.

Mr. Weasley leaned out from the driver's seat, "Are you ready, kids? We have to set off immediately."

"Sorry, dear, I must go now."

Mrs. Weasley gave Kael another hug, "If you spot any suspicious wizards nearby, make sure to write to us immediately."

"I will, Mrs. Weasley," Kael nodded. "Take care of everything."

"You too."
