Madam Pomfrey was originally waiting at the Quidditch Pitch, and upon receiving the news, rushed back immediately.
As soon as she entered, she headed straight over to Harry.
Mainly because Harry looked absolutely miserable now, his whole body covered in dirt, his robe turned into tattered rags like a mop, and his leg was continually bleeding.
In contrast, Kael's clothes were even cleaner than some of the professors', like Blake and Moody.
Madam Pomfrey even briefly thought Harry was the champion who ventured through the maze, and Kael was just here to watch the excitement.
However, considering her diligence and responsibility, Madam Pomfrey still checked Kael's body afterward and handed him a vial of potion to rejuvenate his spirits.
Hmm... as difficult to swallow as ever.
Ten minutes later, in the Hospital Wing.
Harry lay on the hospital bed, his leg injuries had already healed, and he now wore a new pair of glasses that Professor McGonagall had just fetched for him.
After Madam Pomfrey left, Sirius eagerly asked, "What on earth happened?"
Harry put down the hot cocoa and recounted everything that happened after he was taken away, without missing a detail.
On hearing Voldemort's peculiar method of resurrection, everyone gasped in shock at such magic.
"I seem to have heard about it."
Professor Moody's blue magic eye whirled continuously.
"In the Middle Ages, someone invented a tremendously evil ritual to resurrect the vile Herpo, it must be that."
"So, has Voldemort really returned?" Sirius asked.
"Not sure." Professor Moody shook his head, "Let's wait for Dumbledore to return and—oh, he's already here."
As he was speaking, the door of the Hospital Wing opened again, and Dumbledore walked in from outside.
However, the instant they saw him, everyone felt their hearts sink.
Dumbledore seemed to have gone through a battle, he looked incredibly troubled, his robe was missing, and his left hand was charred black.
To make him so disheveled, there were very few people in the entire Magic Realm.
Professor Moody's magic eye twitched, "Fiendfyre?"
"Yes, I was careless for a moment." Dumbledore raised his left hand and tapped it with his wand.
The blackened part on his hand began to fade, quickly returning to its original form.
But none of the people present was pleased.
"So, it really was... You-Know-Who?" Sirius asked dryly.
"You might find it hard to accept..." Dumbledore lifted his head, "Yes, he has returned."
The Hospital Wing plunged into silence.
Dumbledore's words were a complete confirmation of this news.
"Professor, didn't you kill him?" Harry asked anxiously.
"I'm very sorry." Dumbledore shook his head, "Tom did not intend to battle me to the death there, he fled, just like he did years ago.
"And I must admit, his escape methods are stronger than before."
Dumbledore seemed to want to ease the tense atmosphere in the Hospital Wing, but it didn't quite work; everyone looked deeply worried.
"Professor."
Then, Kael said, "Should I go to the Quidditch Pitch now, the Triwizard Tournament should still be ongoing."
"Yes, I was about to mention that."
Dumbledore said, "Minerva, Alastor, you should also return quickly, no matter what happens next, the competition must continue."
Professor McGonagall and Professor Moody nodded and walked out of the Hospital Wing.
Sirius and Snape didn't care, but they were the safety officers for the third task, and if Dumbledore's Guardian God hadn't informed them of the incident, they wouldn't have left the maze.
Since Kael and Harry were back now, they naturally had to return.
After leaving the Hospital Wing, Professor McGonagall immediately turned into a tabby cat and ran towards the Quidditch Pitch, and Professor Moody's figure gradually disappeared.
"Oh, and this."
After the two left, Dumbledore produced a trophy.
"You left it on the mountaintop; without the trophy, your win as champion doesn't count."
"Do I need to take it with me?" Kael asked.
"Although you could do that, I have a better way that would make the competition appear more reasonable."
Dumbledore tapped it with his wand. "Portus!"
Then he continued, "I'll head back now too, you just need to place a hand on it after five minutes... see you later."
After speaking, Dumbledore also departed.
Only Kael, Harry, and Sirius and Snape, the two rivals, remained in the Hospital Wing.
Evidently, even with the news of Voldemort's resurgence, it couldn't temporarily reconcile their mutual hatred.
"Snivellus, aren't you going to report to your master?" Sirius tauntingly spoke up, "Tell him Harry is right here, at Hogwarts!"
Snape didn't respond for once, he coldly stared at Sirius, then his gaze fell upon Kael for a brief moment, before rising to follow Dumbledore out.
"I really don't understand why Headmaster Dumbledore still allows you to remain here at a time like this!" Sirius deliberately said loudly.
Snape heard it but didn't linger.
Only when he had disappeared entirely around the corridor corner did Sirius turn to Harry.
"Remember, stay away from Snape, and never be alone with him."
Harry nodded even though he didn't entirely understand, as he had been doing just that previously.
Then he looked at Kael and the Triwizard Cup placed on the floor.
"Congratulations on winning the Triwizard Tournament." He said, "I knew it was going to be you."
Harry had witnessed Kael's abilities more than once, especially ten minutes ago... seeing that dragon formed of flames.
Though he didn't know what charm it was, that kind of terrifying oppressive feeling still made Harry's heart race even now when he thought of it.
"Thanks, see you later." Kael said, "I think Professor Dumbledore must have more questions for us."
"I know." Harry said.
If he guessed correctly, the words he said to Professor McGonagall earlier might need repeating.
When the time was almost up, Kael walked over to the Triwizard Cup and grabbed the trophy's side handle.
The scene in front of him instantly transformed.
Kael felt himself being enveloped by waves of sound, all around were cheers and the explosions of fireworks.
He returned to the edge of the maze, surrounded by people loudly shouting his name.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the champion of the Triwizard Tournament has emerged." Ludo Bagman's voice came from the commentary stand.
His voice was quite small and somewhat absent-minded... but nobody cared about that, everyone was cheering heartily.
Kael raised the Triwizard Cup in his hand, and the surrounding sounds instantly grew louder.
He looked towards the stands, Dumbledore had already changed into a new robe, smiling and clapping, but he was standing at the spot previously occupied by Karkaroff, in his own seat was Cornelius Fudge.
The Minister of Magic came too? He truly enjoyed joining in on the excitement.
Kael glanced away and quickly spotted Conna in the stands.
She was waving, shouting, and jumping excitedly, Fred and George were busy setting off fireworks, next to them, Cedric was eagerly waving a flag with a Hufflepuff badger.
