Chapter 665 - Chapter 656: Dumbledore's Intuition, Phoenix in Hand (Double Chapter) (Part 2)

According to Hannah, Harry once had a huge argument with Snape during a Potion class and then was kicked out of the classroom.

This is quite rare... Although Harry can be impulsive at times, he rarely argues with professors during class.

Because whenever he intends to do so, Hermione and Ron are always quick to hold him back.

But this time was different... According to Hannah, even the two of them together couldn't stop Harry.

Kael was very curious about what had happened these past few days that caused such a significant change in Harry, so he went to Gryffindor Tower.

But Fred told him that Harry wasn't in the dormitory and hadn't been there for several days, not even at night.

"He couldn't have left the school, could he?" Kael frowned.

"Of course not," George shook his head, "I think he might be spending the nights in the Room of Requirement."

"What?" Kael was a bit puzzled, "Why would Harry choose to stay in the Room of Requirement instead of the dormitory? Did he have an argument with Ron?"

"Not with Ron, actually... it's mainly related to us."

Fred led Kael to an empty corridor and explained, "It must have been three days ago, we sent a special little gadget in a letter to home... an upgraded Extendable Ear."

"We disguised it as a blank piece of parchment," George said, "Since it was our letter, Mom didn't check it..."

"I guess she put it aside casually after reading it..."

"This allowed us to luckily overhear one of their conversations."

"At that time, Harry happened to be there too."

Fred said with some regret, "He had been quite upset these days because of the issue with Sirius, so we invited him to listen to the conversation together."

"Was it related to Harry?" Kael asked.

"Exactly," George sighed, speaking in a low voice, "Mom said that Harry was able to link with You-Know-Who through dreams, and He could also do the same to him..."

Kael frowned, "Did Mrs. Weasley really say that?"

"Absolutely," Fred said, "Hearing that sentence is what made Harry decide to leave the dormitory.

"He probably felt like he was some kind of weapon, constantly at risk of harming others."

"He didn't even want to attend classes, and it was Professor McGonagall who dragged him back to the classroom," George said woefully, "If we had known it would end up like this, we wouldn't have invited Harry to listen with us."

Their intention was to find something to cheer Harry up, but it ended up worsening his mood.

But they had no idea that the conversation would just happen to involve Harry that day.

After understanding the cause of the matter, Kael went to the corridor where the Room of Requirement was located.

However, after seeing the two people who were already there, he simply turned and left... Even Hermione and Ron couldn't see Harry; it would be even less likely for him.

Fortunately, Christmas was just around the corner, and Sirius might be able to cheer him up again.

Kael thought to himself.

...

Finally, Christmas arrived.

The day before the holiday, the auditorium was decorated anew with twelve towering Christmas trees, and the ceiling was draped with shiny snowflakes and stars.

Everyone was celebrating the upcoming holiday, except for Kael... After the banquet ended, he was once again called to the Headmaster's Office by Dumbledore.

And this time, there was only Dumbledore in the Headmaster's Office, dressed in his floral pajamas, just like last time.

"Not going to another place again, are we?" Kael wondered to himself.

But Dumbledore's next words caught him off guard.

"What? You want me to teach Harry Occlumency?"

"Yes, you heard right," Dumbledore said, "Harry needs to learn this skill to protect his mind from magical intrusion.

"I originally intended to teach him myself, but I am simply too busy..."

Dumbledore gestured to the letters piled up like a mountain on the table, "These are all messages from around the world, and it's like this every day. I need to read through all of them before I sleep."

"So you want me to teach him?" Kael asked.

"I should say, assist Professor Snape," Dumbledore said,

"The Occlumency lessons for Harry started two days ago."

Two days ago?

Kael thought for a moment and realized this was the day Snape was late for class.

"So, it's not going well?" he asked tentatively.

"Harry doesn't seem to adapt to Professor Snape's teaching style..." Dumbledore couldn't help but cough lightly.

In fact, he'd been somewhat reserved in what he said earlier—Harry wasn't just struggling with Snape's teaching style; they were practically fire and water.

But there was no other choice; Harry needed to find a way to protect his consciousness from being invaded by Voldemort in the future, and Occlumency was the best option.

This was also why Snape said a few days ago that Harry was constantly in danger.

So after returning from St Mungo's, arrangements for Harry's Occlumency training began.

However, things did not progress smoothly.

Snape chose to use Legilimency to force Harry to find a way to close off his mind...

This would have been fine, but in a moment of desperation, Harry used another type of magic, or rather instinct... Without a wand, he rebounded the Legilimency back.

And then Harry also saw some of Snape's secrets... Although only for a few seconds, it was enough to embarrass Snape.
