Chapter 687 - Chapter 664: Harry's Pain and Joy

During the rest of the holiday, Kael never saw Umbridge again, as if she were intentionally avoiding him.

This was exactly what Kael hoped for, as he didn't want to see Umbridge hovering around during the holiday either.

However, others weren't so lucky. At the castle, Kael often heard people complaining about being reprimanded by Umbridge over trivial matters.

They even said she was like a stronger version of Filch, causing discontent throughout the castle.

On the last day of the holiday, at dusk, those students who went home for Christmas all returned to the school on the Hogwarts Express, making the castle lively again.

Fred and George conjured up a platform as tall as a table in the auditorium, standing on it to showcase the latest product from Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes.

It was a peculiar-looking, pointed hat adorned with pink feathers, appearing geeky, but when Fred put it on, the hat and his head disappeared together.

This caused the people in the auditorium to scream instantly, though some burst into laughter.

Kael was also a bit surprised, as products capable of invisibility were quite rare.

Initially, he thought the Weasley brothers were using Invisibility Beast Fur, like common Invisibility Cloaks, but when George shouted out the price of two Galleons, he dismissed the idea.

You couldn't buy a piece of Invisibility Beast Fur as large as a hat for two Galleons; it would be closer to ten times that price.

Moreover, their product was somewhat different from Invisibility Cloaks.

Invisibility Cloaks only hide the areas they cover, and if too small, parts of the body would be exposed.

However, Fred's entire head disappeared just now, including areas below the eyebrows that weren't covered, which was entirely different from the principle of an Invisibility Cloak.

Kael speculated that they had combined a Disillusionment Charm with Extended Magic Text.

"What a great idea," said Cedric, clapping along with others nearby. "If they strengthen the effect, they might be able to make the whole body invisible."

"That's not easy," Kael said, "I don't think they'll spend much time on this."

"You're right." Cedric shrugged.

Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes has just opened, and they need a lot of novel products to attract customers. They certainly wouldn't waste time on something a single Disillusionment Charm could achieve.

As more people filled the auditorium, Fred and George quickly received a large number of orders.

Only when Professor McGonagall entered the auditorium did they reluctantly descend from the platform.

Then Professor Snape came, but he didn't go to the teachers' table with Professor McGonagall; instead, he headed directly towards the Hufflepuff table and stopped in front of Kael.

"Follow me!" he said, then strode out of the auditorium.

"What's up?" Cedric asked, "Did you offend Professor Snape again?"

"No," Kael said, then followed him to the hallway outside the auditorium.

"Today is the last day of the holiday, but I haven't seen Potter anywhere, and no one in the school has seen him...

In the hallway, Snape said emotionlessly, "I now seriously doubt whether you're teaching him Occlumency or have sent him out of the school.

"Hopefully not the latter, or you'll have to explain to the headmaster."

Harry?

Kael hesitated for a moment, then suddenly slapped his thigh, left a quick remark, and ran upstairs.

"Oh no, why didn't you say so earlier!"

Snape watched Kael's back, his expression growing darker, as if he might start cursing at any moment.

But Kael couldn't care less now. No wonder Hermione and Ron were searching around the auditorium earlier; they were looking for Harry!

Kael sprinted all the way and quickly arrived at the eighth floor.

As he pushed open the Room of Requirement's door, he saw water splashing on the lake in the distance.

Then, a soaking wet Harry staggered to the shore and deftly used magic to dry his clothes.

To be fair, Kael wasn't sure how Harry was doing with his Occlumency training, but he seemed quite adept with that Hot-Air Charm since Kael didn't even hear the incantation.

A few minutes later, Harry fell into the lake again... same process, reached the shore, dried his clothes.

And Fawkes stood on a nearby tree, pecking at Knot Vine pods one by one, occasionally glancing nonchalantly.

Upon raising its head again, it saw Kael and immediately spread its wings to fly over.

And the commotion naturally caught Harry's attention, who turned around with a unchanged expression, muttering to himself, "Strange, I see Kael, and this time there's a phoenix. I must be dreaming.

"But that's not right. That hurt quite a bit earlier; am I knocked out?"

It wasn't until the Wampus Cat leaped beside Kael that Harry realized this time Kael was truly there.

Harry was so excited he nearly wept, scrambling over.

"Is it over, is the lesson over..." He looked at Kael hopefully, speaking quickly, "I swear I've learned Occlumency, really!"

Kael didn't doubt his claim,
