Chapter 957 - Chapter 755: Kael's Charm

I don't know how Moaning Myrtle described it, but the professors arrived quickly and seemed particularly anxious.

Snape even pulled out his wand from afar to save the time of opening a door… The door that Kael had just repaired exploded again in an instant.

This time it was completely destroyed, leaving nothing behind, countless wooden debris flew into the bathroom, hitting the pipes with a series of clinks.

The next moment, Snape rushed in, and when he saw Malfoy wrapped up like a cocoon by the pipes, his face turned ashen.

"Do you even know what you're doing!" Snape roared at Kael: "Using magic to attack a fellow student in school… no matter the reason, it's an extremely excessive action…"

As he spoke, Professor McGonagall also came running.

She was equally angry but much calmer than Snape. Just at a glance, she roughly understood what was going on in the bathroom.

"Severus…" Professor McGonagall tried to remind Snape, but didn't receive a response from him.

"This behavior seriously violates school rules, I could expel you right now!" Snape fiercely glared at Kael, as if he was the culprit of everything.

"Professor, you're mistaken."

At this moment, Hermione also reacted.

Despite Snape's terrifying expression, she stepped forward bravely and said, "The fight was between Harry and Malfoy. Kael and I came after hearing the commotion… in fact, Kael was the one who separated them."

Snape didn't anticipate Hermione would say this, and his expression froze, leaving him stunned.

"Not you?" He looked at Kael with confusion.

"Of course not." Kael shrugged, "Harry is my friend, why would I hit him."

That's right, Snape then noticed there was Harry Potter wrapped up as well.

The previous scene was simply too frightening, a mess everywhere, Malfoy tightly bound and unable to move, and Kael holding his wand.

Snape instinctively felt that Kael couldn't wait and was ready to strike Malfoy.

Even though Dumbledore had assured that Kael wouldn't cause trouble for Malfoy, Snape had not entirely believed it, always worried about such a day.

He feared Malfoy would be killed by Kael directly, hence the scene just now in his rush.

With the truth revealed, he felt somewhat embarrassed.

But seeing Kael's smirking expression again, Snape immediately hardened his face.

"Why didn't you explain yourself, do you think fooling a professor is amusing?"

"I never thought that," Kael raised an eyebrow, "It's just you didn't give me a chance to explain… blowing up the door like that, such a commotion made me think you were here to catch Death Eaters, I didn't dare speak."

Snape's face turned from green to red, then back to ashen, feeling mocked by Kael.

"Severus, he's right, you were indeed too hasty." Professor McGonagall stepped in, intervening between the two.

Since entering, she knew this had nothing to do with Kael.

The evidence was overwhelming, magic traces everywhere.

Frankly speaking, if Kael really wanted to attack Malfoy and Harry, he wouldn't create such a commotion.

With Professor McGonagall's interruption, Snape had nothing else to say, he just looked around for something.

He was looking for Moaning Myrtle.

If it weren't for that ghost shouting "Murder! Murder in the bathroom!" across the castle, he wouldn't have been so anxious.

Nonetheless, Moaning Myrtle was well aware of this, having hidden in the sewer early on.

"They need to go to the Hospital Wing." Professor McGonagall said, "As for their punishment… Headmaster Dumbledore will be back tonight, let him decide then."

Snape had no objection to her decision, and he took out his wand ready to release Malfoy.

But then an awkward situation arose, he couldn't open the pipes binding Malfoy.

Finite Incantatem seemed utterly ineffective, landing lightly on the pipes like a breeze, and then dispersed.

Malfoy remained bound.

Snape tried two other different charms, with the same result.

For a moment, the atmosphere became awkward.

"Professor, can't you undo it?" Kael asked in feigned confusion: "Need any help?"

"Shut up!" Snape snarled through clenched teeth.

He would bet his career that Kael did it deliberately.

Yet, he was helpless, a professor unable to dispel a student's charm, regardless of the reason, was utterly humiliating.

Meanwhile, Professor McGonagall, preparing to release Harry, encountered the same situation.

But upon discovering Finite Incantatem didn't work, she quickly considered another method, tapping back and forth on Harry with her wand.

This time the pipes loosened swiftly.

Harry fell to the ground, staggered to his feet clutching his arm.

"Well done, it seems you've learned quite well." Professor McGonagall said, with an uncomprehending hint of delight in her tone.

But soon she regained her stern demeanor, "Come with me, Potter, we'll discuss your issues afterwards… Hurry up, Severus, what are you hesitating for?"
