Chapter 22 - 22: The impossiblity of possibility Part 2

The Tongue of God

It was never just a power.

It was real Tongue of God.

A forgotten forbidden relic. It has the voice that could bend fate itself.

The existence of this part was already the unexpected, until the world heard that Daruma had spent years mastering what no one dared to touch. He took the power of the Lord of Lords… and did something unthinkable. He merged the Lord's will with the very soul of God.

And From that fusion, he created something terrifying enough to scare even Atom himself.

A fusion which He called it. Fate Twist.

This ability did not grant blessings. It did not balance the world.

It simply followed one rule:

The darker the user's heart… the darker the fate it creates.

And no one was more evil than Daruma himself.

The moment he chanted the mantra holding the Tongue of God… everything was decided. It's the end.

Humanity's end had begun.

By the tongue and his look anyone could tell, Daruma didn't want power at that time. He has already the whole world in his feet. All he wanted was suffering

He wanted every human to feel pain… to lose hope… to crawl and beg for something as simple as happiness.

And for this, he had planned for ages.

And now… it was finally happening.

The sky had turned dark. The air became heavy and with the earthquake feeling, something impossible began to rise.

A tree?

No! This is something far beyond a tree.

Looking at it, it stretched endlessly upward, piercing the heavens, as if trying to touch eternity itself.

Which people would later call it...

The Tree of Suffering.

As the world was changing, Atom stood frozen.

He knew what this meant.

He knew what he had to do.

And that was exactly why he hesitated.

Because the choice in front of him was the one he had sworn never to make. Even in his final moments, he had promised himself—he would never cross that line.

It was a promise he made to his friend.

Years ago, at the School of Labrios, Atom was not just another student.

He was respected. Admired.

Not just because of his talent…

But because of who he was.

The son of the greatest warrior of the era.

A man who had defeated the Fire Dragon of World Five.

A legend who fought alongside Azrial's father.

That legacy lived within Atom.

And he was proud of it.

But there was something more.

Something no one could ignore. Atom was born different because from the moment he came into this world…

He carried a fragment of a Lord's power within him.

And now... As the Tree of Suffering reached the skies…

Atom took a step forward.

The promise he once protected with his life—was about to be broken and the school like Labrios knows the potential of the Lord, and a kid like him inheriting it means he's the choosen one. But that day changed everything.

It was the day when Atom released 1% of Lord Almighty's power. It was not uncontrollable fate, but an accident when he almost killed his friend who Somehow survived and from that day he was strictly trained to his get his focus on powers..

Back to the Present...

Daruma's mantra had not fully awakened yet.

But the state he was in… was like an egg, moments away from hatching.

Something inside him was growing. Evolving.

And once it was complete—There would be no stopping it.

Below, Atom stood still… staring upward.

He understood.

If that "egg" hatched perfectly… humanity wouldn't just fall—

It would be twisted beyond repair.

Saving it would become nothing more than a distant dream.

"B-Brother… don't use it… please don't use your power…" Ana's voice trembled. Not out of fear... But out of memory.

She had seen it before. She knew what it did to him.

And she didn't want to see it again.

Atom didn't respond to her. For a moment… he just stood there.

Silent. Not reacting.

Then—

He turned his back on her. Not because he ignored her…

but because he had already made his choice. This was not a moment to hesitate.

A thin, glowing barrier formed around Ana, Atom had sealed her safely inside. And then he moved forward. Alone.

He slowly brought his hands together… like a prayer.

His eyes turned completely black. As if a void had opened inside him. He was ready to release it all. Without the hesitation his voice echoed, "Lord Almighty…"

A talisman hanging from his body cracked and shattered.

His seal was broken.. it was the same seal... As proton.

"Ruins of the void…

Blind faith…

Apple of the snake…"

His voice grew heavier with each word.

"I choose you."

He paused.

"I am here."

Suddenly the ground trembled and the air distorted, Atom began to rise. He was Floating... But The moment his feet left the ground The world reacted.

The island shook violently, like it was being torn apart by an unseen force. The twisted sky.

The atmosphere… something was wronga about it

This was no ordinary power he was releasing.

This was the awakening of something ancient.

Long ago, when the Lords were defeated by the Lord of Lords…

They were not killed. They were bound. Chained by fate itself.

They were forced into eternal submission... But one of them Refused.

He defied even God becoming the first to rebel.

The one they called... The Blasphemous.

"Unleashment of the Lord…"

...

"Summoning of the Blasphemous."

And in that moment, Everything changed.

Atom had finally unleashed his full power.

Meanwhile… at the Edge of the Island

The wind was already howling like a living beast, waves were crashing violently against the broken shores, and the sky roared with chaos. What was once a peaceful home… was now being torn apart by an unrelenting storm.

Sil stood there with the remaining villagers. Helpless.

All they could do… was just watch.

"You said… he was never meant to be born. What do you mean by that?" Sil's voice cut through the noise, his eyes were fixed on the distant figure—Atom. He was fighting against something beyond human understanding.

He couldn't understand.

Why was that man fighting?

Why did it feel like the entire world was against him?

The elder beside him stayed silent for a moment. But Then he spoke and What he said shattered everything.

"There are rumors about him," the elder said slowly, "That he was born with the power of the Blasphemous."

Sil had heard whispers like that before.

But rumors are just rumors.

The elder continued, "And that's not the reason the world fears him…" His voice grew even more heavier, "There's something far worse." listening to it Sil's heartbeat slowed he felt the strange unease crept into his chest.

"He was born…to kill everyone."

This is why the world wants him dead, if he lives long enough to fulfill his fate… it won't take long before humanity disappears.

Sil stepped back, shaking his head, "I… I don't believe this." He turned away, trying to distance himself from those words.

"I don't know why he was born… but I'm not believing this nonsense." It was too much for him. It felt Too absurd, Too cruel.

But the elder didn't argued to him, what he could was not in his hand so he only looked at him with his tired eyes and said, "It's the truth."

"NO!" Sil had enough he clenched his fists denying him, "NO—"

"I was there," the elder continued.

"When it was announced to the world."

Sil's breath grew uneven.

He didn't want to hear this. He Didn't wanted to accept it, "I don't care if anyone believes it or not!" Sil snapped.

"He saved me once!"

His voice cracked.

"He's the one who killed the king's son… and now he's fighting up there!" Sil pointed toward the sky, "Does that look like someone who wants to destroy everything?!"

No one answered.

"Shouldn't we trust what we see instead of some stupid rumor?!" Sil wanted to convince them that Atom is not what they are thinking he is.. but no matter what he do, it's the fact that, People don't deny the truth like this…

unless they're afraid of it.

"It's true," the elder said quietly.

He had no anger. Just… truth.

Atom was born… to kill everyone.

"SHUT UP!!!" Sil yelled at him denying his words.

He covered his ears tightly, as if that alone could block reality.

As if refusing to hear it would make it disappear.

"No… NO!!" he turned and ran.

Ran Away from them.

Away from the words.

Away from the truth.

But no matter how far he went…

He couldn't escape it. Because the truth doesn't chase you.

It simply waits, and eventually… it catches up to you.

"I don't care… I don't believe it…!" his voice broke as he ran.

"I just don't want him to be what they're saying… He's not like that… It's all a lie… it's all a lie…!" His steps grew unstable as he moved closer to the burning jungle, "A lie… A lie… A lie…!"

Behind him, the elder's grandson called out. But Sil didn't stop.

Or He couldn't, "Yes… they misunderstood him…" Sil kept whispered to himself, almost desperately trying to hold onto something real.

"I know him… I know him…" His mind rushed back to a memory.

To a voice he trusted.

"Nori told me about him…" Sil's eyes trembled, "He said he was a good person… a kind person…"

He's not someone who kills innocents… He can't be…

Flames rose ahead of him, devouring the forest.

But Sil kept moving forward, "He's the reason I found my dream…" His voice softened as if he was speaking to that distant figure in the sky, "He's the one who shaped it…"

Sil had it lost all his mind, A faint smile… mixed with pain.

"My dream…"

That's right! He had came back to its senses!

"He's not a monster… He's the one who inspired me."

His voice turned almost sacred, "He's my inspiration, My ideal, My hero…my GOD." The fire crackled around him, But Sil was burning even more.

He had been struggling for so long.

The elder's words. The world's hatred. The rumors. None of it matched the image of him he carried in his heart.

Because what he believes and what the world condemens… couldn't exist together.

He started the believe, "The world is wrong. They only know half of the story…"

Sil had decided, To accept their words would mean destroying everything he believed in. So he chose the only path left. Denial.

"If I prove them wrong… then everything will make sense again…" And then—another memory surfaced.

Back when he was with Nori. He had told him a story which was not a rumor. But a memory...

"A long time ago…"

Nori had said,

"I met him."

Nori had said, "He told me to wait,"

That one day… he would come back.

"And when he does…He'll fix everything." Back then, Sil didn't fully understand. But now those words echoed differently.

"The power he has now… isn't enough," Nori had continued.

"But when he returns…" His voice carried something strange.

"That will be the moment…When he gives this world what it truly deserves."

Atom had made a promise.

Not to the world.

But to Nori... it was s promise to complete his goal.

No matter what it takes. But there was a condition. The promise had a cost.

"He said… he needs the soul of God."

"And when that happens… everything will return to how it once was."

From what Nori remembered…

From the way Atom spoke back then… It wasn't just about power. It was about restoration.

"He said… everything will return," Nori's voice echoed faintly in Sil's memory, "Back to how it once was."

Atom's goal is not to fix anything.

He wants the world to its state where As if time itself could be undone. As if the world's damage had never happened.

A concept so absurd…

that no one would believe it.

The impossiblity of possibility...
